The Hollywood Apartments, at 234 E. 100 South in Salt Lake City, Utah, were built in 1909. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.It is significant as a representative example of more than 180 apartment buildings built in Salt Lake City during 1900-1933 that were part of transformation of the city into an urban environment. The building was built and owned by J.M. Wilfley.

St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral located at 231 E. 100 South in Salt Lake City, Utah is the cathedral church of the Diocese of Utah in the Episcopal Church in the United States of America. Built in 1871, it is the third oldest Episcopal cathedral in the United States and the second oldest continuously used worship building in Utah. It was designed by architect, Richard Upjohn, in the Gothic Revival style. On September 22, 1970, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

One World Everybody Eats (OWEE) was a nonprofit community kitchen and is a foundation based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Its motto was "a hand up, not a hand out." The community kitchen concept is a restaurant based on a gift economy, allowing patrons to "pay what they can" and serving all members of the community regardless of their ability to pay. The Cafe incorporated volunteer and common-effort aspects similar to those of a community garden. The organization's stated goal was to provide all who eat high quality, all natural, simple food and to ask patrons to give fairly in exchange so that all could partake.

The Episcopal Diocese of Utah is a diocese of the Episcopal Church in the United States, encompassing the state of Utah, less that part of the Four Corners region which is in the Navajoland Area Mission. It includes a small part of northern Arizona. In 1867, the Episcopal Church was the first Protestant church organized in Utah. The diocesan offices and cathedral, St. Mark's Cathedral, are in Salt Lake City. The current bishop is The Rt. Rev. Phyllis A. Spiegel, whose consecration took place on September 17, 2022.

Ashby Apartments, also known as Gooch Apartments and Suzanne Apartments, is a historic building in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was built in 1925-1926 for the Bowers Investment Company, and designed in the Mission Revival style. It was acquired by the Eflow Investment Company in 1926. From 1936 to 1963, it belonged to Ralph A. Badger, who owned and managed five apartment buildings in Salt Lake City, and who served as the president of the Apartment House Association of Utah. The building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since November 16, 2006.

The Cathedral of the Madeleine is a Roman Catholic church in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. It was completed in 1909 and currently serves as the cathedral, or mother church, of the Diocese of Salt Lake City. It is the only cathedral in the U.S. under the patronage of St. Mary Magdalene.

The J. A. Fritsch Block is a historic three-story building in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was built in 1890 for the Fritsch Investment Company, co-founded by Francis Fritsch, an immigrant from Germany, and his son John. It was designed in the Richardsonian Romanesque style by Carroll & Kern. The second and third floor were used as hotel rooms, first known as the Worth Hotel and later as the Granite Hotel. The building was purchased by Lorus Manwaring, Sr., the owner of a bicycle store, in 1931–1932. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 30, 1976.

The Salt Lake City School District (SLCSD) is the oldest public school district in Utah. Boundaries for the district are identical to the city limits for Salt Lake City. Employing about 1,300 teachers who instruct about 25,000 students K-12, the district is the ninth largest in the state, as of 2009, behind Granite, Davis, Alpine, Jordan, Canyons, Weber, Nebo, and Washington. Two of the district's high schools, East and West, are over 100 years old.

The First Presbyterian Church of Salt Lake City is a Presbyterian Church congregation in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was founded in 1871. From 1874-1905 the church met in a building at the corner of Second South and Second East, which has since been demolished. The current red sandstone building was constructed from 1903-1905.The current church building is in the Gothic Revival style and was designed by architect Walter E. Ware. The design was patterned after Carlisle Cathedral in Carlisle, England. The exterior was built of red sandstone quarried from Red Butte Canyon. The stained glass windows were created by R. T. Giles and Co. of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The original organ was built by the Bennett Organ Company of Rock Island, IL and dedicated in a 1906 concert featuring renowned organist Clarence Eddy.The current building was first occupied in 1905, the congregation substantially enlarged, renovated, and modernized it in 1956. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It is also Entry No. 323 on the American Presbyterian/Reformed Historic Sites Registry. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 as a contributing building in the South Temple Historic District. In 1875, Professor John M. Coyner founded The Collegiate Institute, a college preparatory program which met in the basement of the old church building at Second South and Second East. The institute later grew to become Westminster College.

Immanuel Baptist Church is a historic church at 401 E. 200 South in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Classical Revival church was built in 1910–1911, but not dedicated until 1915. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
