Hotel Brigham

Brigham City is a city in Box Elder County, Utah, United States. The population was 19,650 at the 2020 census, up from the 2010 figure of 17,899. It is the county seat of Box Elder County. It lies on the western slope of the Wellsville Mountains, a branch of the Wasatch Range at the western terminus of Box Elder Canyon. Brigham City saw most of its growth during the 1950s and 1960s but has seen a struggling economy and stagnating growth. It is near the former headquarters of ATK Thiokol, now Northrop Grumman, the company that created the solid rocket boosters for the Space Shuttle. Brigham City is known for its peaches and holds an annual celebration called Peach Days on the weekend after Labor Day. Much of Main Street is closed off to cars, and the festival is celebrated by a parade, a car show, a carnival, and other activities. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) dedicated its fourteenth temple in Utah in Brigham City on September 23, 2012. The city is the headquarters of the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation, a federally recognized tribe of Shoshone people.

The Brigham City Fire Station/City Hall, at 6 N. Main St. in Brigham City, Utah, was built in 1909. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.It was designed by architect Andrew Funk and was built as a fire station in 1909. Its hose tower was designed to rise 70 feet (21 m).It was remodelled in 1935 to serve as city offices, to design by Carson F. Wells.

The Box Elder County Courthouse is a courthouse at 1 N. Main St. in Brigham City, Utah. It was built in 1857 and expanded greatly in 1910. The 1910 addition includes Classical Revival architecture designed by local architects Andrew Funk and Carson Wells and provides the architecturally significant portion of the building. The building is significant as the only courthouse in the county and for having held all departments of the county government over the years. It is asserted to be the best example of Neo-Classical Revival architecture in the city and in Box Elder County. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Knudson Brothers Building is a historic two-story commercial building in Brigham City, Utah. It was built in 1914 by Charles W. and Jonathan C. Knudson, and designed in the Chicago school style, with Neoclassical features. It is "55.5 feet wide by 100 feet deep with a small frame addition on the rear." It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 16, 1992.

The Brigham City Carnegie Library, at 26 E. Forest St. in Brigham City in Box Elder County, Utah, dates from 1915. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.It is a two-story Prairie School-style building, one of 23 Carnegie libraries built in Utah, only three designed in Prairie style. In 1983 it was one of 17 surviving Carnegie libraries and was deemed "one of the best of less than twenty well preserved examples of public buildings designed in [Prairie School] style in Utah."

The Elberta Theatre is a historic two-story building in Brigham City, Utah. It was built with red bricks and stucco in 1917 by William R. Dredge and W.H. Shurtliffe, and it was designed in the Prairie School style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since October 17, 1991.

The Union Block, a building at 57 S. Main St. in Brigham City, Utah, was built in 1892. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.It is a two-part commercial block building. It has also been known as the C.W. Knudson Building.It was expanded to the rear in 1929 by 65 feet (20 m) to accommodate a J.C. Penney store as a tenant, in work done by builder Royes J. Petersen.

The Jonathan and Jennie Knudson House is a historic house in Brigham City, Utah. It was built in 1898-1901 by Jonathan Chester Knudson, a Mormon businessman whose father was a Danish-born convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Knudson lived here with his wife, née Jennie Ellen Pritchard. In the 1930s, the house was inherited by their son, Jonathan Chester Knudson Jr., also a Mormon businessman, who lived here with his wife, Lucille. It was later deeded to their son, Jake, who lived here with his Japanese wife, Tomie Kono, a Tenrikyo minister. The house remained in the Knudson family until 1998.The house was designed in the Victorian Eclectic style, with Queen Anne, Shingle and Neoclassical features. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since December 28, 2000.

The Peter and Anna Christena Forsgren House is a historic house in Brigham City, Utah. It was built in 1863 by Peter Adolph Forsgren, an immigrant from Sweden who converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the age of 36, while he was living in Boston, Massachusetts. His brother, John E. Forsgren, who became the first Mormon missionary to preach in Sweden, played a leading role in his conversion. Forsgren became a weaver of cloth, blankets and carpets in Brigham City, and he designed a carpet for the Logan Utah Temple. This house was designed in the Gothic Revival architectural style. Even though Peter had two wives, his second wife is unlikely to have lived here with him. Forsgren therefore lived here with his first wife, also known as his sister wife, Anna Christena, and the house was deeded to their children, purchased by a daughter, sold out of the family in 1920. The new homeowner, Peter Nelson Pierce, was a trader between Native Americans and Mormon settlers who served as the local Mormon bishop and later became the police chief. The house has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since January 23, 2003.

The William L. and Mary Watkins House in Brigham City, Utah is a historic house built around 1862. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.It is a one-and-a-half-story Gothic Revival-style cross-wing adobe and stucco house. It is notable for being one of the largest historic houses in the city, and for its architecture, and for its state of preservation.William Watkins was a charter member and a leader of the Brigham City Co-op.

The Thompson-Hansen House is a historic residence in Brigham City, Utah, United States, that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
