The Broom Factory Factory (also known as "The BFF") is an American music venue, art space and event destination in the Remington neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland.The Broom Factory Factory opened in December 2012 as a mixed use facility. Currently the home of Charm City Studios and Music Collective, it has also functioned as a music venue, hosting a number of local artists, including T.T. The Artist and DDM.On January 2, 2013, The Broom Factory Factory was featured on "QuErica Lately."Before The Broom Factory Factory, the building's tenants were Big Bang Audio, who recorded artists such as George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars, and Woody Rock from Dru Hill.

Remington is a neighborhood in northern Baltimore bordered to the north by Hampden, Wyman Park, and Johns Hopkins University and to the east by Charles Village. The southernmost boundary is North Avenue and the long southwestern boundary is formed by Falls Road in the I-83 corridor. The neighborhood is split between two Baltimore City Council Districts (District 14, currently represented by Odette Ramos, and District 12, currently represented by Robert Stokes).

Jones Falls Trail (typically abbreviated JFT) is a hiking and bicycling trail in Baltimore, Maryland. It mostly runs along the length of the namesake Jones Falls, a major north–south stream in and north of the city that has long acted as a major transportation corridor for the city. It also incorporates the bike path encircling Druid Hill Reservoir and its namesake park. The Jones Falls Trail forms a segment of the East Coast Greenway, a partially completed network of off-road bicycling routes that runs the length of the East Coast.It is projected to extend from the Baltimore waterfront at the Inner Harbor north to the Mount Washington neighborhood, passing through Cylburn Arboretum and Mount Washington Arboretum. The Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks owns, manages, and maintains the trail.

American Ice Company Baltimore Plant No. 2 is a historic ice manufacturing plant located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It consists of two industrial buildings: an original two story stone ice manufacturing building built in 1905 and a brick ice storage addition, built in 1919, is an immense, nearly windowless structure with the height of a six-story building.American Ice Company Baltimore Plant No. 2 was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Stieff Silver Company Factory is a historic silver factory located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a two-story nine-bay rectangular brick factory building, designed by Theodore Wells Pietsch and built in two stages in 1925 and 1929. The exterior features a lighted sign flanking a central clock that rises above a parapeted roof. The Stieff Silver Company was the last of the Baltimore silverware manufacturers, operating between 1892 and 1999.Stieff Silver Company Factory was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Reservoir Hill, is a historic neighborhood in the city of Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is located south of Druid Hill Park, north of Bolton Hill, east of Penn-North, and west of Jones Falls. It is bounded by Druid Park Lake Drive, the Jones Falls Expressway, North Avenue (U.S. Route 1), and McCulloh Street. It is contained in the 21217 ZIP code.

25th Street Station was a proposed mixed use development to be located in the Remington, Old Goucher, and Charles Village neighborhoods of central Baltimore. It received final design approval from Baltimore's Planning Commission on December 16, 2010, and was to commence construction in early 2011, with a 2012 opening. The development would have included 330,000 square feet (31,000 m2) of retail space, including a Walmart and Lowe's as anchor tenants, with an array of smaller retailers and 70 apartments. As of October 2011 construction of 25th Street Station has not begun yet and the Lowe's is no longer an anchor.On May 20, 2014, the project's primary developer, WV Urban Developments, withdrew from the project, citing numerous ongoing legal issues and challenges as the cause. The WV Urban's project manager for the site upon the announcement of its withdrawal stated, "WV Urban Developments is no longer pursuing its 25th Street Station project. As you are well aware, the project has been the target of numerous appeals and filings by opponents, which have delayed the project for years." The appeals were stated to "have contributed to an environment sufficiently uncertain that the relevant parties are unable to reach the agreements necessary for WV to continue." WV Urban Developments had spent more than $5 million in planning costs and attorney's fees defending the project against lawsuits that had been dismissed but appealed. As of August 2015, the 25th Street Station project is essentially dead, as WV Urban Developments sold the land that was to be used for the 25th Street Station project to a new developer, Seawall Development Co. (who has a proven track record of locally-oriented development and community engagement within Baltimore City) in late-2014 who on March 17, 2015 agreed with the communities that surrounded this project that they would not develop the property in accordance to the 25th Street Station PUD and the November 21, 2013 decision by the Baltimore City Planning Commission (essentially killing the proposed Walmart that was highly controversial from the original proposal) and would not oppose to a potential action by the Baltimore City Council and the Planning Commission to cancel or repeal the 25th Street Station PUD in exchange for the dismissal of two appeals pending within the Maryland Court of Special Appeals that was filed in opposition of the 25th Street Station project.The proposed site is bounded by West 25th Street to the north, Maryland Avenue to the east, West 24th Street to the south, and the CSX Railroad line to the west.

Stone Hill Historic District is a national historic district in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is one of the original mill villages along the Jones Falls, having been developed circa 1845–1847 to house textile mill workers. Comprising seven blocks, the district includes 21 granite duplexes, a granite Superintendent's House, and a granite service building (now converted to a duplex) – all owned by Mount Vernon Mills from 1845 to 1925.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

The Oak Street Garage is an historic automotive storage and repair facility at 2600 North Howard Street in Baltimore, Maryland. The single story Beaux Arts style building was built in 1924 and expanded in 1927. The building has a roughly trapezoidal shape, with a triangular office area in the front and two garage bays in the rear, the second (the 1927 addition) a few steps down from the first. The building is finished in brick. It was first used by Neely and Ensor, a manufacturer of high-end carriages that had branched out into the automotive field.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

H.F. Miller & Son Tin Box and Can Manufacturing Plant, or the American Can Company, Miller Factory, and now Miller Court is a historic can manufacturing plant located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It was erected in three stages between 1890 and about 1910. It is a four-story brick manufacturing plant. The exterior features decorative brickwork, multiple window forms, and substantial construction typical of the period. The interior features chamfered posts, closely spaced joists, and fire doors.The building has been redeveloped as Miller's Court with 40 apartments, as well as office and project space for public and charitable agencies. Apartments in the $20 million project were marketed to Baltimore public school teachers. The first tenants moved in during July 2009.H.F. Miller & Son Tin Box and Can Manufacturing Plant was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The Ottobar is a music venue in the Charles Village neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland, in the United States. In 2018 the Ottobar was named one of the 10 best live music venues in America by Rolling Stone Magazine. The Washington Post describes it as a "bastion of sub-mainstream music...where the insular community of artists and scenesters flock to hear the best touring bands." It also hosts theme events, dance parties, and an occasional burlesque show.

Mount Vernon Mill No. 1 is a historic cotton mill complex located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It was constructed between 1873 and 1918 and consists of four buildings situated along Jones Falls. The complex consists of three closely associated 19th-century buildings and a 20th-century warehouse. There is a large, three-story brick Mill Building (1873); a two-story, brick, L-shaped Picker House (1873); a two-story, brick Store House (c. 1881); and a later, reinforced-concrete warehouse (1918). It served as headquarters for Mount Vernon-Woodberry Mills, one of the world's largest producers of cotton duck.Mount Vernon Mill No. 1 was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.The mill complex, now referred to generally as Mill No. 1, was purchased by Terra Nova Ventures, LLC and began renovations in 2012 to create a mixed-use project of apartments, offices and restaurants. The Mill No. 1 boasts, "The architecture team, Alexander Design Studio has figured out how to make this complicated project work, while keeping the integrity and character of the historic buildings... The structures’ overall historic significance and fabric in their beautiful setting [and] location have been maintained, while adapting the structures to incorporate new uses..."
