Galaxy Macau (Chinese: 澳門銀河綜合渡假城, Portuguese: Galáxia Macau) is a casino resort located in Cotai, Macau, SAR of People's Republic of China. Construction on the Cotai project began in 2002. Its opening was rescheduled several times. Its developer, Galaxy Entertainment Group, announced on the 10th of March 2011 that the HKD 14.9 billion (US$1.9 billion) resort would officially open on 15 May 2011. The resort was designed by Gary Goddard. The resort currently consists of five different hotels, each with its own 'theme', Galaxy Macau, Banyan Tree, Hotel Okura, The Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott.

The Macau Olympic Aquatic Centre (Chinese: 澳門奧林匹克游泳館; Portuguese: Piscina Olimpica de Macau) is an aquatic center in Taipa, Macau, China. Inaugurated on March 28, 2003, the aquatic center covers a total area of 3,220 m2 and has a seating capacity of 1,500. The Aquatic Centre includes a diving pool 25 meters by 25 meters (with an adjustable floor capable of reaching a maximum depth of 5 meters) and a 50m swimming pool with 10 lanes. Both facilities comply with the latest FINA standards and are eligible for holding international competitions. Water quality is maintained by a sophisticated sanitizing system using ozone, instead of chlorine.

Rua do Cunha (Chinese: 官也街; English: Cunha Street) is a narrow pedestrian street in Vila da Taipa, the town centre of Taipa, Macau. The street is named after Pedro Alexandrino da Cunha, a Portuguese navy captain who was the 81st Governor of Macau. He arrived in Macau in 1850 and he died 37 days later from cholera, being one of the first victims of the disease in Macau. It is known for souvenir shops selling almond cakes, phoenix egg rolls, coconut flakes, cherikoff, and peanut candy, It is also known for its various Portuguese restaurants, including 'O Santos', which has been in business since 1989, and 'O Galo'.

Centro Desportivo Olímpico - Estádio (Chinese: 奧林匹克體育中心-運動場) is a multi-purpose stadium in Taipa, Macau. It was formerly named Estádio Campo Desportivo (澳門運動場) before the reconstruction of the stadium had been completed. The Olympic Sports Center is the largest sporting complex in Macau. It is more often known as the Macau Olympic Complex Stadium (Portuguese: Quintal Desportivo do Complexo Olímpico de Macau) since it is the largest facility of the complex. The complex comprises a stadium - a grass pitch (105 x 68 m) surrounded by an 8-lane athletic track and a long jump area, a 900-seated indoor stadium, a hockey centre, a practicing track and several tennis courts. In general, it is used mostly for football matches and athletics.

Pousada Marina Infante (Chinese: 皇庭海景酒店) is a 4-star hotel located at Cotai, Macau, China. Its services include a business center, safe deposit boxes, laundry services and more. The hotel originally had a small gambling room named Casino Marina, but it has been closed indefinitely since at least 2010.

Escola Dom João Paulino (Chinese: 聖善學校) is one of the earliest schools built in Macau, established in 1911. Located on Taipa, it is operated by the Diocese of Macau. It is a member of the Macau Catholic Schools Association. It is named after João Paulino de Azevedo e Castro, a bishop of the Diocese of Macau.

The Cotai Arena is an indoor arena located on the premises of The Venetian Macao, on the Cotai Strip, in Macau, China. It opened in 2007 with a seating capacity of 15,000. The arena was known as Venetian Arena from 2007 to 2010, when it was renamed as CotaiArena. It hosts sporting events such as basketball, tennis and boxing, as well as concerts and internationally-televised awards shows.

The Taipa Houses–Museum (Chinese: 龍環葡韻住宅式博物館; Portuguese: Casas-Museu da Taipa) is housed in a set of old houses in Taipa, Macau, China.The museum complex consists of five houses, of which four display various artefacts and exhibits on life during Macau's colonial era while another serves as an event venue. The houses were built in 1921. These colonial residences were restored to recreate houses of well-off Portuguese families living in Macau during the first half of the 20th century. The last house was restored in 1999. The Taipa Houses–Museum opened on 5 December 1999 and is administered by the Cultural Affairs Bureau.The houses used to look out over the sea, but due to land reclamation of the Cotai area between Taipa and Coloane. This body of water is now a small wetland. Every autumn, the Cultural Affairs Bureau organises the Lusofonia Festival at the open space outside the museums.

Zaia was a Cirque du Soleil stage production based at The Venetian Macao on the Cotai Strip in Macau. The 90-minute show opened in August 2008, bringing together 75 high-calibre artists from around the world. Zaia was Cirque du Soleil's first resident show in Asia and was directed by Neilson Vignola and Gilles Maheu. The custom-built theater housing the performance was capable of seating 1,800 spectators at a time.Zaia presented a young girl's dream of journeying into space, discovering worlds populated by a panoply of otherworldly creatures. The title, Zaia, came from a Greek name meaning "life".Due in part to the global financial crisis at the end of 2008 that contributed to low attendance, the show closed on 19 February 2012. Despite its closing, Venetian Macao resort owner Las Vegas Sands Corp. claimed, "Using Las Vegas as a benchmark, Zaia’s 3 1/2-year run should be deemed successful and provide strong support for the argument that the future of entertainment in Macau is on the right track."

The Venetian Macao (Chinese: 澳門威尼斯人, Portuguese: Macau Veneziano) is a hotel and casino resort in Macau, China owned by the American Las Vegas Sands company. The 39-story structure on Macau's Cotai Strip has 10,500,000-square-foot (980,000 m2) of floor space, and is modeled on its sister casino resort The Venetian Las Vegas. It is the second-largest casino in the world, the largest single structure hotel in Asia, and the tenth-largest building in the world by floor area. The main hotel tower was finished in July 2007, and the resort officially opened on 28 August 2007. It has 3,000 suites, 1,200,000 sq ft (110,000 m2) of convention space, 1,600,000 sq ft (150,000 m2) of retail space, and 550,000 square feet (51,000 m2) of casino space (with 3,400 slot machines, 800 gambling tables), and the 15,000-seat Cotai Arena for entertainment and sports events. Its lead architects were Aedas and HKS, Inc., who were responsible for its design, coordination and implementation.
