Tavistock Square is a public square in Bloomsbury, in the London Borough of Camden.

The 7 July Memorial honours the victims of the 7 July 2005 London bombings at Tavistock Square which targeted London's transport system. Of the four bombings, the one at Tavistock Square was the only one above ground. The bomb was detonated on a number 30 double-decker bus, killing 13 people and injuring dozens. The memorial was dedicated in September 2018 with family members of victims among those in attendance. It was designed by Carmody Groarke, the same company to assist with designing the 7 July Memorial in Hyde Park. Inscriptions on the memorial at Tavistock Square include the names of the 13 victims.

The Conscientious Objectors' Commemorative Stone is on the north side of Tavistock Square, Bloomsbury, in the London Borough of Camden. In 1994 a stone commemorating "men and women conscientious objectors all over the world and in every age" by Hugh Court was unveiled in Tavistock Square.

The UCL Jill Dando Institute of Security and Crime Science (informally the Jill Dando Institute or the JDI) is an institute of crime science located in London, United Kingdom, and a part of University College London (UCL). It was founded in 2001, becoming the first university institute in the world devoted specifically to crime science. The institute's current director is Richard Wortley.

Tavistock House was the London home of the noted British author Charles Dickens and his family from 1851 to 1860. At Tavistock House Dickens wrote Bleak House, Hard Times, Little Dorrit and A Tale of Two Cities. He also put on amateur theatricals there which are described in John Forster's Life of Charles Dickens. Later, it was the home of William and Georgina Weldon, whose lodger was the French composer Charles Gounod, who composed part of his opera Polyeucte at the house. Tavistock House was demolished in 1901.

Connaught Hall is a fully catered hall of residence owned by the University of London and situated on Tavistock Square, Bloomsbury, London, UK. It is an intercollegiate hall, and as such provides accommodation for full-time students at constituent colleges and institutions of the University of London, including King's College, University College London (UCL), Queen Mary, the London School of Economics (LSE) and the School of Oriental and African Studies and others.

The University Hospital Association, formerly the Association of UK University Hospitals, is a leadership body for university hospitals in the UK established in 1998. Its main focus is in teaching and research. It has offices at Woburn House, Tavistock Square, London the headquarters of Universities UK. Katie Petty-Saphon is its Chief Executive.

The Dame Louisa Aldrich-Blake Memorial is a bronze and stone memorial honouring British surgeon and educator Dame Louisa Aldrich-Blake, the first woman to receive the degree of Master of Surgery. Aldrich-Blake worked at the New Hospital for Women and Children (later renamed the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson and Obstetric Hospital) and Royal Free Hospital, and also served as dean of the London School of Medicine for Women, the country's first medical school to train women doctors. She pioneered surgical treatment for cervical cancer and colorectal cancer, and also volunteered for the Red Cross during World War I. The bronze identical busts on the memorial were sculpted by Arthur George Walker and the memorial was designed by noted architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. It was unveiled in 1926, shortly after Aldrich-Blake's death. The memorial was listed in 1974. It is located on the southeast corner of Tavistock Square Gardens in Bloomsbury, London, one of several public artworks in the Gardens.

Bloomsbury Social Centre was the name given to a building in Bloomsbury, London, which was squatted as a self-managed social centre by students in affiliation with Occupy London, and the global Occupy movement. It was occupied on Wednesday, 23 November 2011, and evicted on Thursday, 22 December, lasting a total of 30 days. It was situated at 53 Gordon Square, in an historic six-storey Georgian Grade II-listed building, renovated by famous British architect, Charles Holden, the principal architect of nearby Senate House.

The UCL Division of Psychology and Language Sciences is a Division within the Faculty of Brain Sciences of University College London (UCL) and is located in London, United Kingdom. The division offers teaching and training and undertakes research in psychology and communication and allied clinical and basic science. It is the largest university psychology department in England. UCL was one of the first universities in England to establish a psychological laboratory at the end of the 19th century. Notable members of its academic staff have included Oliver Braddick, Cyril Burt, Francis Galton, John Morton, W. H. R. Rivers, Tim Shallice and James Sully. It has a staff of around 330, including 125 academic staff, an annual turnover of £40 million and occupies around 7,000 sq m of laboratory and office space. The division holds active grants for research into a wide range of psychological topics, including mental health treatments, typical and atypical development, brain imaging, cognitive psychology, behavioural neuroscience, and aging and dementia

Endsleigh Street is in the Bloomsbury district of central London, in the London Borough of Camden. It connects Endsleigh Gardens to the north to Endsleigh Place and Tavistock Square to the south.

The British Medical Association War Memorial, officially the War Memorial at British Medical Association House, Tavistock Square, Bloomsbury, London, commemorates men and women of the medical professions from the British Empire and Commonwealth who died in the Second World War. The memorial was commissioned by the British Medical Association and designed by the sculptor James Woodford. Unveiled in 1954 by Sir John McNee, then President of the BMA, and dedicated by Geoffrey Fisher, the Archbishop of Canterbury, it became a Grade II* listed structure in 1998.
