Siheung City Hall station

Siheung (Korean: 시흥; [ɕi.ɣɯŋ]) is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The city has a population of 511,807 people, where 508,646 are residents out of 218,846 households as of August 2021. Siheung acquired its current administrative structure on January 1, 1989, the former Siheung County was divided into the cities of Siheung, Gunpo, and Uiwang. At the time, Siheung had a population of only 93,000. This number more than tripled in the following decade as massive suburban apartment complexes were developed. Today's Siheung city area formerly belonged to Incheon and Ansan before 1914. Notable landmarks include the Oido island, the Soraesan mountain, and the port and inlet of Wolgot. Siheung includes two new areas that were developed in the 1990s, Sihwa and Wolgot. The new city of Sihwa includes a very large industrial complex. Companies headquartered there include Hansung Machinery Co., Korea Polytechnic University (established in 1997), and also Kyonggi Institute of Technology (reorganized in 1999). In 2007, Korea Polytechnic University built TIP (Techno Innovation Park). The building has 18 floors used for studying, research, and development for students, faculty, companies and government. In February 2010, Seoul National University acquired 826 thousand square-meters or 204 acres of Siheung property to establish its global campus. The university plans to build a biomedical complex, research hospital, apartments, and education-related infrastructure including lecture halls, dormitories, and an international middle and high school.

Ttaegol Village (Korean: 땟골마을), alternatively Ddaetgol Village, is an enclave of Koryo-saram (ethnic Koreans of the former Soviet Union) in Seonbu-dong, Danwon District, Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. In Russian, the area goes by Ttekkol Samgori (Russian: Ттэкколь Самгори, Теколь Самгори), where "samgori" (삼거리; samgeori) is Korean for "three-way intersection". Around August 2022, around 7,000 people in the village were Koryo-saram. Along with Gwangju Koryoin Village, it is one of the largest Koryo-saram enclaves in the country.By August 2022, 12% of the total population of Ansan was of foreign nationality. There is another Koryo-saram enclave in Ansan, which is located in Sangnok District. In August 2022, the total Koryo-saram population in Ansan was around 18,000.

Korea Digital Media High School is a private co-educational high school located in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do. It is one of the South Korean schools specializing in computer science. Because of the length of its name, it is usually called by the nickname "Dimigo" shortened from Digital Media High School (Korean pronunciation: Hanguk Digiteol Mideo Godeunghakgyo). The school advertises its ratings from officially certified examinations or international Olympiads. It has the highest academic achievement among South Korean high schools. The school maintaining top 2~4% average score among Korea high schools on CSAT, it was 4.1% at 2015. Several members of the national team at the International Olympiad in Informatics graduated from Dimigo.

Seonbu station is a station on the Seohae Line in South Korea. It opened on June 16, 2018. Its station subname is Hando Hospital, from the nearby Hando Hospital.

Seoul Institute of the Arts is a prominent educational institution specializing in the Arts located in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The school has nurtured many graduates who are actively working in art related fields within Korea as well as internationally. The Namsan campus in the heart of Seoul is used for presentation of arts productions and convergence with industry. The Ansan Campus opened in 2001 and is used for educational training, which aims to tear down barriers between disciplines, genres, and majors. The Institute continues to be a forerunner in globalization of Korean arts and creation of new forms of arts.

Danwon High School (Korean: 단원고등학교, Hanja: 檀園高等學校) is a coeducational high school located in Danwon District, Ansan, South Korea. It is a state school, being under the authority of Gyeonggi Province's Office of Education.The school was founded in 2005. In cooperation with The Borderless Village, a non-governmental organization, it established a multiculturalism program in 2006 and 2007. Its motto is "self-realization." As of May 2013, there were 1542 pupils at the school.

Ansan station (Korean: 안산; Hanja: 安山) is a subway station on Seoul Subway Line 4 and the Suin–Bundang Line of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. The station is located in the Wongok neighborhood of Ansan, Korea and is one of multiple stations serving the city.Before the extension of Line 4 to Oido station, Ansan station served as the line's terminus station. It is still a terminal station for some trains. It is located close to the factory section of the town. There are many restaurants and shops located around the station. Ansan has a large and growing foreign community living in this neighborhood and there are many foreign restaurants close to the station.

Wolpi-dong (Korean: 월피동; Hanja: 月陂洞) is a neighbourhood of Sangnok-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

Singiloncheon Station (Korean: 신길온천역, romanized: Singiloncheon-yeok) is a railway station on Seoul Subway Line 4 and the Suin–Bundang Line in Ansan, Korea. As hot springs were expected to be developed at the time of the station's opening, the station was opened as Singiloncheon station (신길온천역, 新吉溫泉驛, meaning Singil Hot Spring). However, the station was renamed on January 20, 2021, due to the lack of development of hot springs around the station. But the actual station name "Singiloncheon", was not modified around the station, on the announcements and route maps due to protests supporting hot springs to be built around the station. So it is technically "Singiloncheon" until KORAIL actually renames the station.

Choji Station (Korean: 초지역) is a commuter railway station on Seoul Subway Line 4, the Suin–Bundang Line and the Seohae Line in Ansan, South Korea. Trains on Line 4 utilize what is officially named the Ansan Line within the city of Ansan, as do those on the Suin-Bundang Line, which stop at the station on the same tracks using the same platforms.The station opened as Gongdan Station. In 2012, the city government of Ansan announced that this station would be officially renamed to Choji Station at the end of June that year.
