Frisco Independent School District

Lebanon Trail High School is a public high school located in Frisco, Texas (USA) that is part of the Frisco Independent School District. The school opened its doors in August 2016 for the 2016–2017 academic year. The school is the district's ninth high school. Upon opening, only freshman attended the school, unlike most other high schools in the district. This decision was made by the district in order to not move students from high schools multiple times, as other high schools had recently opened in the area less than 4 years prior. Around 2,000 students attend Lebanon High school it is one of the biggest high schools in Frisco ISD in terms of student population.

Stonebriar Community Church is a nondenominational evangelical megachurch in Frisco, Texas, a northern suburb of Dallas, Texas. The church was founded in 1998 by a group of individuals including Senior Pastor Chuck Swindoll, whose sermons are broadcast worldwide on the radio program Insight for Living.

Frisco is a city in Collin and Denton counties in the U.S. state of Texas. It is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and about 25 miles (40 km) from both Dallas Love Field and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Its population was 200,509 at the 2020 U.S. census.Frisco was the fastest-growing city in the United States in 2017, and also from 2000 to 2009. In the late 1990s, the northern DFW suburban development tide hit the northern border of Plano and spilled into Frisco, sparking rapid growth into the 2000s. Like many of the cities in Dallas's northern exurbs, Frisco serves as a bedroom community for professionals who work in DFW. Since 2003, Frisco has received the designation Tree City USA from the National Arbor Day Foundation. The United States Census Bureau defines an urban area of northern Dallas-area suburbs that are separated from the Dallas–Forth Worth urban area, with McKinney and Frisco as the principal cities: the McKinney–Frisco, TX urban area had a population of 504,803 as of the 2020 census, ranked 83rd in the United States.

Lolaville was an unincorporated community in Collin County, located in the U.S. state of Texas., near the present-day border between Plano and Frisco. It flourished in the early part of the 20th century but had all but disappeared by the late 1950s, as Texas State Highway 121 went through the site of the community. After subsequent road expansion required the demolition of most of the houses, all that remained was a roadside fruit stand, for which Lola only charged a pittance of rent. The fruit stand displayed a sign bearing the name "Lolaville".The remnants of the community disappeared during the 1990s, when the land was redeveloped.Lolaville was named after Lola Kelsey Dunafan (27 Nov 1901 – 8 Oct 1994), whose father owned several hundred acres in the vicinity, including the site of present-day Stonebriar Mall. The particular four acres that became Lolaville were acquired in 1928. Lola's husband, Ernest (22 Aug 1904 – 24 Mar 1980), built a general store and several houses to be rented to black farming families. The black community was serviced by a segregated school at which Lola taught. After her parents died and were buried in Rowlett Creek Cemetery, Lola inherited the land and continued to live in her own hamlet until she retired to a nursing home and sold the land to developers in 1988. The transaction was brokered by Wayne Pickering, who was sentenced to 21⁄2 years in prison for bank fraud.

Stonebriar Centre, commonly referred to as Stonebriar Mall, is a mid-range shopping mall located at the intersection of Preston Road (SH 289) and the Sam Rayburn Tollway (SH 121) in Frisco, Texas, U.S. It is currently anchored by Dick's Sporting Goods, Dillard's, Forever 21, JCPenney, the first KidZania location in Texas, Macy's, Nordstrom, Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Dave & Buster's, and H&M, with one vacant anchor last being occupied by Sears. It also has a 24-screen AMC movie theater, a food court with a carousel, a Cheesecake Factory, and a Smokin' Oak Wood-Fired Pizza & Taproom which was previously a California Pizza Kitchen.

The Cloyce Box Ranch was the site of the original Southfork ranch location, where the initial five episodes of Dallas were filmed. The series left the location at the end of the first season in 1978 at the request of property owner, Cloyce K. Box, who was unhappy with the negative portrayal of the Texas oil industry by the show. The production moved to the ranch "Duncan Acres", near Plano, Texas, where the series was filmed for the rest of its run.The ranch house, a 14,000-square-foot colonial-style mansion designed by John Astin Perkins and originally built in 1941 as a replica of Tara, the fictional plantation house in the 1939 film Gone With The Wind, no longer exists, having been destroyed by a fire in 1987. The frame of the original Southfork Ranch that was used in the pilot season still stands in Frisco, Texas, on the northeast corner of Preston Rd. and Main St. The address of the house is: 10514 E. Comerica Center (previously Deja Blue Arena and Dr Pepper Arena) is a multi-purpose arena in Frisco, Texas. It is the home of the Texas Legends of the NBA G League and the Frisco Fighters of the Indoor Football League, as well as the executive offices and practice facility of the National Hockey League's Dallas Stars. The arena is also used for concerts and other live entertainment events. It seats between 5,000 and 7,000 people and has a 2,100-vehicle parking garage.

Ford Center at The Star is a 12,000-seat indoor stadium located in Frisco, Texas. Its main use is as the Dallas Cowboys' practice facility. It is also used for Whataburger's Friday Night Stars, an event every Friday showcasing Frisco Independent School District high school varsity football. The synthetic turf is Hellas Matrix Turf with Helix Technology. The field's dimensions can also be marked for and accommodate a regulation soccer pitch and lacrosse field.

Riders Field, formerly known as Dr Pepper/Seven Up Ballpark and Dr Pepper Ballpark, is a baseball park in Frisco, Texas, United States. The home of the Double-A Frisco RoughRiders of the Texas League, it opened on April 3, 2003, and can seat up to 10,216 people. Though primarily a venue for Minor League Baseball games, the facility also hosts high school and college baseball tournaments and other public and private events throughout the year. It has been the site of three Texas League All-Star Games. Since its opening, Riders Field has won awards and garnered praise for its unique design, feel, and numerous amenities. In his design, park architect David M. Schwarz desired the creation of a village-like "park within a (ball)park". The stadium received the 2003 Texas Construction Award for Best Architectural Design. Attendance for RoughRiders games at the stadium has consistently placed either first or second in the Texas League and at the Double-A classification since its opening. After having the second-highest attendance in its first two seasons, as of 2020, it has had the highest in the league and classification since 2005.

The Museum of the American Railroad, formerly known as the Age of Steam Railroad Museum, is a railroad museum in Frisco, Texas. The museum has more than 70 pieces of steam, diesel, passenger, and freight railroad equipment; guests may walk through some of the equipment on guided tours.
