Otero's 66 Service, at 100 Main St. in Los Lunas, New Mexico, was built in 1923. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.Located on historic United States Route 66, it is a former Phillips Service Station and has been operated as Sam's Tire and Lube.

The Tranquilino Luna House, near Los Lunas, New Mexico, dates from 1882. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.It is a large Victorian-style house built of adobe terrones (large slabs). Its original entry porch was replaced in early 20th century by a two-story four-column portico.It was a home of the politically powerful Luna family, descendants of Domingo de Luna, and was deemed "probably the best example of an extant adobe Victorian residence in New Mexico".

Los Lunas is a village in Valencia County, New Mexico, United States. As of the 2010 census, the village population is 14,835 inside the village limits due to the new housing developments at El Cerro de Los Lunas (Huning Ranch). It is the county seat of Valencia County. Los Lunas is part of the Albuquerque Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Pottery Mound (LA 416) was a late prehistoric village on the bank of the Rio Puerco, west of Los Lunas, New Mexico. It was an adobe pueblo most likely occupied between 1350 and 1500. The site is best known for its 17 kivas, which yielded a large number of murals. A 2007 book, New Perspectives on Pottery Mound Pueblo (Polly Schaafsma 2007) provides a general introduction to the site.

Los Lunas is a station on the New Mexico Rail Runner Express commuter rail line, located in Los Lunas, New Mexico, at the intersection of Highway 314 and Courthouse Road. The station began service on December 11, 2006 as the fourth station on the line. Los Lunas Public Transportation has shuttles serving the station. Each of the Rail Runner stations contains an icon to express each community's identity. The icon representing this station is the old Los Lunas train station.The station has free parking, with 190 spaces, with congestion at the parking lot requiring that an extension be built less than a year after the station originally opened. This extension was opened on April 30, 2007. The mayor of the town admitted that more parking was needed although the extension had recently been built; the next phase of expansion involves building 120 new spaces.

The Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad Depot in Los Lunas, New Mexico was built in 1879. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.It an Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad station no longer in use, now located on New Mexico State Road 314, which formerly was the routing of U.S. Route 85, about 0.9 miles (1.4 km) south of its intersection with Highway 6. The depot was moved in 1976 to its current location.It is notable as one of the oldest depots in New Mexico, and is the oldest in the state of its standard type used by the A.T. & S.F. throughout the late 1800s.Originally it was 118.5 feet (36.1 m) long. Its freight room was expanded in 1886 and then shortened by 30 feet (9.1 m) in 1942.Signage in 2016 indicates it is currently a Veterans of Foreign Wars post.

The facility was opened in 1980, as a medium security prison with 480 beds, but today features both minimum and maximum security units.As of 2005, the facility had a population of 1,110 inmates. CNMCF is operated by the New Mexico Corrections Department.
