St Patrick's Classical School (Irish: Gréasáin Scoil Chlasaceach Naomh Pádraig) is a Roman Catholic-run school for boys in Navan, County Meath. It has produced a number of politicians, journalists, Irish sports personalities, broadcasters and two winners of the Perrier Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Páirc Tailteann (Irish pronunciation: [ˌpˠaːɾʲc ˈt̪ˠal̠ʲtʲən̪ˠ]) is a GAA stadium in Navan, County Meath, Ireland. It is the home of the Meath Gaelic football and Hurling teams, also owned by Craig Lennon of ST Mochtas and Louth gaa The ground has had a capacity of between 30,000 and 33,000, but following a safety audit in 2011 the GAA reduced the authorized capacity to 10,000. This was later upped to 17,000. The county board in 2012 announced plans to refurbish the grounds. In 2013 Meath county board introduced a ticket system The name "Tailteann" alludes to the Tailteann Games, an ancient Gaelic festival held in Teltown (Tailtin) between Navan and Kells. Páirc Tailteann is the venue of the annual Meath GAA club championship finals, the winners of which receive the Keegan Cup (for football) and the Jubilee Cup (for hurling). It is the principal G.A.A. stadium in County Meath. Recent redevelopments of the stadium include the installation of an electronic scoreboard to replace the old, manual scoreboard (the manual scoreboard can still be used in the event of problems with the electronic one) and the erection of floodlights. Planning permission given in the first part of 2018 would have led to a Páirc Tailteann with a 21,000-person capacity. In June 2022, this was paused, with the effects of events such as the COVID-19 pandemic, construction inflation, the housing shortage and the war in Ukraine all contributing to increased costs.

Navan Junction was a railway station serving the town of Navan in County Meath. As the name suggests, the station was located at the junction of two railway lines. The first was a branch line off the main line between Belfast and Dublin, which connected Drogheda and Oldcastle, and opened in 1850. The second, which opened in 1862, was also a branch line, this time off the line from Dublin to Sligo, connecting Clonsilla and Navan. This line was later extended as far as Kingscourt in 1865. Although Navan had two railway stations, Navan Junction was the main one serving the town, with a total of four platforms serving the two routes. However, following the nationalisation of the railways in Ireland in 1945, a major rationalisation programme led to the closure of many branch lines. Passenger services on the Kingscourt line ended in 1947, and led to the line between Clonsilla and Navan being lifted, while services on the Oldcastle line ended in 1958, with the line between Navan and Oldcastle lifted in 1963. This saw the final closure of Navan Junction station itself. Today, little remains of the station. Most of the buildings have been demolished, with the exception of the Midland Great Western Railway goods shed and the Great Northern Railway (Ireland) down platform. However, freight trains still pass through the site - until 2001, trains transported gypsum from the Gypsum Industries plant at Kingscourt through the site, while trains from the Tara Mine continue to use the remaining part of the Oldcastle line to transport zinc and lead to Drogheda.

Navan O'Mahony's (Irish: CLCG Ó Mathúna An Uaimh) is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GGA) club located in Navan, County Meath, Ireland. The club fields teams in Gaelic football, hurling, and camogie. Navan O'Mahony's participates in various Meath GAA Senior Football Championship competitions having won the title 20 times, making it the most successful football club in Meath. Additionally, the club has claimed the Meath Senior Hurling Championship title twice, placing it among the top teams in the county.

St. Joseph's Secondary School is an all-girls school in Navan, Ireland. It serves both the town and a large catchment area. The school is situated close to Railway Street and shares part of its grounds with St. Joseph's Primary School. It was founded by the Sisters of Mercy. As of 2020, the principal is Rita Meagher and the vice-principals are Claire D'Arcy and Fiona Daly. The school has approximately 700 students and has a range of extra curricular activities which include music and choir, drama, debating, equestrian and golf.

St. Mary's Church (Irish: Eaglais Mhuire) in Navan, County Meath is one of two churches that make up the modern-day Parish of Navan in the Diocese of Meath. It was opened in 1839.

Navan railway station is a former train station which served the town of Navan in County Meath, Ireland.

The Bull of Navan (Irish: Tarbh na hUaimhe) is a prominent stone sculpture in the town of Navan, in County Meath, Ireland. The statue was sculpted by Galway sculptor Colin Grehan and depicts a large bull being restrained by two men. The image of the bull has historic significance for the town of Navan, where many livestock fairs were held. The sculpture was finally positioned in the Market Square in 2011 following nine years of controversy over the cost of the project and the proposed location. The scope of the project also included a large regeneration of Navan town centre, with the planting of trees and grass, the placing of new lighting at a ground level, and the provision of stone benches.

Navan Town Hall (Irish: Halla Baile na hUaimhe) is a municipal building in Abbey Road, Navan, County Meath, Ireland. The building, which was commissioned to serve as the local bridewell, became the police barracks, and later became the local seat of government.

Tara Mines is a zinc and lead mine near Navan, County Meath, Ireland. Tara is an underground mine where the orebody lies between 50 and 900 metres below the surface. The orebody is within the carbonate-hosted lead-zinc ore deposits of the Navan Deposit. The deposit was discovered in 1970 by Brian Byrne in conjunction with Derek Michael Romer while working for Pat Hughes' Northgate Exploration. Development started in 1973 and production began in 1977. Tara Mine is operated by Boliden. It is the largest zinc mine in Europe and the eighth largest in the world producing 200,000 tonnes of zinc concentrate and 40,000 tonnes of lead concentrate annually. The planning conditions for the Tara mines included: The mining site was to be screened by trees to reduce visual impact. Noise and air pollution were closely monitored. Large quantities of mining waste or tailings were carefully managed. Water used in the operation was purified before being released into the Blackwater River.Broken ore is delivered to one of five underground crushers and reduced in size to less than 150mm before being carried by conveyor to a 3,600t capacity storage bin at the base of the production shaft. Skip loading and hoisting are automatic. Ore is supplied, at an hourly rate of 570 tonnes, to the surface coarse ore storage building, with a 30,000t capacity, known as the Tepee. The concentrates are shipped via Dublin Port to Boliden's smelters in Kokkola, Finland and Odda, Norway and to other smelters throughout Europe. Tara Mines is connected by railway to Drogheda via Navan, where daily loads of ore are sent to Dublin Port. Due to low zinc prices, production was halted between 2001 and 2003. In 2009 production was again threatened as demand for zinc, used to galvanise steel for the car and construction industries, declined sharply due to the slowdown in the global economy. Zinc and lead prices maintained their strength throughout 2011 due to continued demand from China and India. Ore production from Tara Mines continued strongly throughout 2011. The mine was temporarily closed again in July 2023 due to factors including a fall in zinc prices and increased energy costs, with Boliden aiming to reopen the facility in the second quarter of 2024.A brand new Autogenous Grinding mill, which replaces large sections of the original crushing and grinding plant, became operational in October 2009.

Navan ( NAV-ən; Irish: An Uaimh [ənˠ ˈuəvʲ], meaning "the Cave") is the county town and largest town of County Meath, Ireland. It is at the confluence of the River Boyne and Blackwater, around 50 km northwest of Dublin. At the 2022 census, it had a population of 33,886, making it the ninth largest settlement in Ireland.

Loreto Secondary School, St. Michael's, is an all-girls secondary school in the town of Navan, County Meath in Ireland. The school, which opened in 1833, is situated on the banks of the River Boyne on Convent Road. The Loreto Sisters St. Michael's Convent adjoins the main and oldest part of the school, with a day-care centre for the elderly situated at the side. There are approximately 52 staff members, including teachers, two career guidance counsellors and ancillary staff. As of 2020, there were 806 students enrolled.
