James D. Calhoun House

The Burckhardt House is a 1+1⁄2-story Prairie Box style home built in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1903. The Burckhardt House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its architectural features and significance as the home of Reverend Oliver J. Burckhardt and Anna Jones Burckhardt.

The Quinn Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church and Parsonage is a historic structure in Lincoln, Nebraska. The chapel was built by A. L. Hansen in 1905, and designed in the Gothic Revival style. The parsonage, designed in the American Foursquare style, was built in 1923. The chapel was redesigned by architect A. W. Woods in 1926. Both structures are affiliated with the African Methodist Episcopal Church. The property has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since June 25, 1999.

The Ryons-Alexander House is a historic house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built by Charles J. Gerstenberger in 1908 for William B. Ryons, the son of an Irish immigrant and the vice president of the First National Bank. In 1912, it was purchased by Hartley Burr Alexander, a philosopher and author of several books. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 8, 1982.

The John M. Thayer House is a historic house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built in 1889 for John Milton Thayer, who served as a general in the Union Army during the American Civil War of 1861–1865, as a United States Senator from Nebraska from 1867 to 1871, as the 2nd Governor of Wyoming Territory from 1875 to 1878, and as the 6th Governor of Nebraska from 1887 to 1892. It was designed in the Queen Anne style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since December 5, 2002.

The Albert Watkins House is a historic two-and-a-half-story house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built in 1902 for Albert Watkins, an immigrant from England who became a newspaper editor and historian. Watkins edited The Illustrated History of Nebraska in 1905, and he was the historian of the Nebraska State Historical Society from 1910 to 1923. The house was designed in the Queen Anne style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since April 3, 1989.

The William H. Tyler House is a historic house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built in 1890 for William Henry Tyler, an immigrant from Wales who founded the W. H. Tyler Stone Company in Lincoln in 1881. It was designed in the Queen Anne and Richardsonian Romanesque styles by James Tyler, William's brother. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since April 6, 1978.

Temple of Congregation B'nai Jeshurun is a historic Reform synagogue in Lincoln, Nebraska. When it was built in 1923–1924, it replaced the old synagogue at 12th and D Streets completed in 1893. The main structure was designed in the Byzantine Revival and Moorish Revival styles by Davis & Wilson, and Meyer G. Gaba, a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, designed the dome. Inside, the arch was designed by wood-carver Keats Lorenz. The first rabbi was Solomon Elihu Starrels. The building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since June 25, 1982.

The Palisade and Regent Apartments are two historic buildings in Lincoln, Nebraska. The five-story Palisade built in 1928, followed by the four-story Regent in 1929. They were both built by Harry Golstein, and designed in the Period Revival style. They have been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since March 5, 1998.

The Arthur C. Ziemer House is a historic house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built in 1909-1910 for Arthur Z C. Ziemer, a railroad ticket agent, interior designer, and Christian Science healer. Ziemer first arrived in Lincoln in 1870, and he died in 1913. The house was it was designed in the Shingle style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since November 23, 1977.

Cooper Park (formerly Lincoln Park, City Park, and F Street Park) is an urban park and former American football field on 6th and D Streets in Lincoln, Nebraska. It is the oldest park in Lincoln and served as the first home venue of the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team in 1891 and 1892.

The R.O. Phillips House is a historic house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built in 1889 for R.O. Phillips, a railroad lawyer who served as a member of the Nebraska House of Representatives. The house was designed in the Richardsonian Romanesque style by architect J. H. W. Hawkins. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since November 29, 1979.

The Nebraska Governor's Mansion is the official residence of the governor of Nebraska and his family. Located in Lincoln, Nebraska, it is a modified Georgian Colonial home which began operation as the governor's residence on March 17, 1958.
