Richards House (Farmington, Utah)

The Hector C. Haight House, at 208 N. Main St. in Farmington, Utah, was built in 1857. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It has also been known as the Union Hotel.It was built around 1857 as a two-story adobe "double cell" house, facing west, with adobe walls that are 18 inches (0.46 m) thick. It was the home of Hector C. Haight and his family and was probably built by him. Around 1870, a two-story rear wing was added, with a two-story porch facing south. Around that time, Haight began operating part of the building as the Union Hotel. The front porch of the original portion and the south-facing porch were removed at some date(s), but were rebuilt in 1984.In 1984, it was deemed "architecturally significant as one of a very limited number of two story double cell houses in Utah. Because the state survey is not complete, it is impossible to conclusively state how many houses of this type are extant, but the double cell in its one story form was not a popular traditional house type in the early days of settlement. Two story examples of the type are even less common. The house is also historically significant as the oldest remaining hotel in Farmington, as one of the few remaining houses in Utah that were built during the 1850s, and for its association with Hector C. Haight, the 'father of Farmington.'"

The Farmington Rock Chapel or Rock Church, built between 1861 and 1863 in the city of Farmington, Utah, is one of the oldest churches still in use in Utah. The Primary Association of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) was founded by Aurelia Spencer Rogers in the rock church in 1878 with 224 children and now serves millions of children worldwide, adding additional historic significance. A large mural painted by Lynn Fausett commemorating the 63rd anniversary of the Primary was added to the LDS Church in 1941. The church was designed by pioneer architect Reuben Broadbent and built with native fieldstone with slight Greek Revival styling but is mainly vernacular. The rock chapel has had three additional wings added onto it with renovations happening in 1941 and 1980, and currently serves the Farmington 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wards. The rock church is part of the Farmington Main Street Historic District which was added to the U.S.National Register of Historic Places on October 20, 2011.

The Farmington Tithing Office, at 110 N. Main St. in Farmington, Utah, was built during 1907–1909. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.It is significant, according to a 1984 Utah State Historical Society review, "as one of 32 well preserved tithing buildings in Utah that were part of the successful "in-kind" tithing system of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS church) between the 1850s and about 1910.": 2 Formerly used as Farmington's town hall, the building now houses the Farmington Historical Museum.

The VanFleet Hotel in Farmington, Utah was built during the 1860s for Thomas and Electra Hunt. Originally a residence, it became a hotel in the 1870s as a result of its proximity to a Wells Fargo stage coach stop. It was purchased by Hyrum Van Fleet in 1908, but suffered a devastating fire in 1913. The subsequent reconstruction doubled its size. As it was next to the courthouse, it became known as the "honeymoon hotel" as a result of the many newlyweds who stayed there. The Van Fleet family operated the hotel until 1953, when it was converted to apartments. It currently houses dental offices after a 1995 renovation. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 19, 1991.

The Farmington Main Street Historic District, in Farmington, Utah, is a historic district mostly along Main Street which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011. It included 66 contributing buildings.The district includes Farmington's city offices at 160 S. Main Street, which distributes a self-guided tour of sites in the district.The district may also have been known as the Farmington Sycamore Historic District, or is otherwise associated with that. It runs along Main St. from 200 S.to 600 N., along 600 North St. to Park Ln. and 100 North St. from Main St to 100 W. Pioneer Village is located inside of the Lagoon Amusement Park in Farmington, Utah. Meant to be a "living museum," Pioneer Village includes artifacts and mementos housed in over two dozen structures, intended to make the history of Utah come alive. It was founded in 1938 near Salt Lake City by Horace and Ethel Sorensen. In April 1975, Lagoon bought the collection from the Sons of Utah Pioneers, and it opened at the amusement park in 1976.

BomBora is a family steel roller coaster currently operating at Lagoon in Farmington, Utah, United States. It is located just outside Lagoon-A-Beach. The name of the coaster comes from an indigenous Australian term for "a submerged reef" or "a turbulent area of sea over such a reef".

Wild Kingdom Train Zoo is a small zoo located in Lagoon Amusement Park, Farmington, Utah, United States. Visible when riding the Wild Kingdom Train, the zoo is located on the banks of a pond. In 1967 the Animaland Train opened, taking guests past the various animal exhibits. The name of the attraction was changed around 1975 to the Wild Kingdom Train. The park has advertised the zoo as the second-largest zoo in Utah.

Primordial is a 4D, interactive dark ride roller coaster located at Lagoon amusement park in Farmington, Utah, United States. Designed in-house by the park and various engineering teams, the coaster was developed and constructed over a period of eight years.

Lagoon is a family owned amusement park in Farmington, Utah, United States, located about 18 miles north of Salt Lake City. It has eleven roller coasters, six of which are unique; Colossus the Fire Dragon, the last Schwarzkopf Double Looping coaster still in operation in the United States (Laser at Dorney Park closed at the end of the 2008 season and was moved to Germany to become the Teststrecke traveling roller coaster in 2009); Roller Coaster, one of the oldest coasters in the world operating since 1921; Wicked, designed by Lagoon's engineering department and Werner Stengel in cooperation with ride manufacturer Zierer; BomBora, a family coaster designed in-house; Cannibal, built in-house with one of the world's steepest drops, and Primordial, an interactive dark ride coaster/3-D shooter game attraction built mostly inside a massive artificial mountain. Lagoon is divided into five main areas: The Midway, containing the majority of the rides and an assortment of carnival type games and food outlets; Pioneer Village which has several exhibits displaying pioneer buildings and artifacts; Lagoon-A-Beach, a water park which is included in the regular admission price; Kiddie Land with several rides for small children, and the X-Venture Zone featuring more extreme rides that cost extra. Lagoon also offers a full-service RV park, a campground, and a shaded walking trail outside the park that stays open all year.
