Green Gables (Prince Edward Island)

Resort Municipality, officially named the Resort Municipality of Stanley Bridge, Hope River, Bayview, Cavendish and North Rustico, is the lone municipality in Prince Edward Island, Canada that holds resort municipality status. It was established in 1990.

Cavendish is an unincorporated rural community in the township of Lot 23, Queens County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The community's primary industries are tourism and agriculture supporting a very small year-round population. Cavendish is the largest seasonal resort area in Prince Edward Island with an average daily population in the months of July and August of approximately 7,500 residents. It was also home to Lucy Maud Montgomery, writer of Anne of Green Gables. She said she loved sitting by a window, and writing Anne of Green Gables while looking out the windows onto the fields of Cavendish.

The Cavendish Beach Music Festival is a music festival held in mid-July in Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The festival is produced by Whitecap Entertainment. Cavendish is a resort community located 39 kilometres (24 mi) northwest of the provincial capital Charlottetown.

Toronto is an unincorporated area and civic address community in Queens County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is part of Lot 23 in Grenville Parish. It lies 4 miles (6.4 km) southwest of North Rustico on Route 241.

Marco Polo was a three-masted wooden clipper ship, launched in 1851 at Saint John, New Brunswick. She was named after Venetian traveler Marco Polo. The ship carried emigrants and passengers to Australia and was the first vessel to make the round trip from Liverpool in under six months. Later in her career, the ship was used as a cargo ship before running aground off Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, in 1883.

Cavendish Beach is a beach in the community of Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Fronting the Gulf of St. Lawrence, this broad natural sand beach stretches for 8 kilometres from the entrance to New London Bay in the west, to the red sandstone cliffs at Cavendish East in the east. The entire beach is located in the Prince Edward Island National Park. The beach is typically divided into the following sections: Cavendish Spit, a barrier beach protecting the entrance to New London Bay. Cavendish Campground Beach, the section of Cavendish Beach near the national park campground, immediately east of the spit. Cavendish Main Beach, the most publicly accessible area of beach at the end of Graham's Lane. It has extensive parking facilities, as well as a complex featuring changing rooms, washrooms and a canteen. A boardwalk carries beach goers over the fragile sand dunes fringing the edge of the beach and separating it from MacNeill's Pond in the southeast and Clark's Pond in the southwest.

North Rustico is a Canadian town located in Queens County, Prince Edward Island. Situated on the north shore, North Rustico an incorporated municipality in 1954. North Rustico changed its status to a town on November 16, 2013. The town is known to locals, as well as many others as "The Crick". Its population as of the 2021 Census was 648 people.North Rustico is well known for its Canada Day celebration every year on July 1. The event usually attracts in excess of 10,000 people, which packs the town quite full. It includes festivities in the park, a parade down main street, as well as a boat parade on Rustico Harbour. The celebration is popular among families, teenagers and adults. The day is completed by a fireworks display over the bay.

Rusticoville is an unincorporated rural community in the township of Lot 23, Queens County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Rusticoville is located south of North Rustico and in the central part of the province on the north shore, fronting the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

New Glasgow is an unincorporated area located in Queens County in the central portion of Prince Edward Island, south-west of North Rustico. It is situated amongst beautiful rolling hills on the Hunter River. New Glasgow has several popular tourist destinations, including the famous New Glasgow Lobster Suppers, the renowned Glasgow Hills Golf course, the Prince Edward Island Preserve Company, The Mill Restaurant and the FarmHouse Inn

Lot 23 is a township in Queens County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is part of Greenville Parish. Lot 23 was awarded to Allan and Lauchlin MacLeane in the 1767 land lottery.

The North Rustico Harbour Light is an active lighthouse on the central north coast of Prince Edward Island, Canada. The station was established in 1876 and the lighthouse itself was built in 1899. It is still active, and has a focal plane of 12.5 m (41 ft); and a yellow light, 5 seconds on, 5 seconds off. The tower itself is 10 m (34 ft) high with a square pyramidal wood tower with lantern and gallery.
