South Rustico is located 6 kilometres (4 mi) south of North Rustico and 26 kilometres (16 mi) north of Charlottetown in the central part of the province on the north shore.

North Rustico is a Canadian town located in Queens County, Prince Edward Island. Situated on the north shore, North Rustico an incorporated municipality in 1954. North Rustico changed its status to a town on November 16, 2013. The town is known to locals, as well as many others as "The Crick". Its population as of the 2021 Census was 648 people.North Rustico is well known for its Canada Day celebration every year on July 1. The event usually attracts in excess of 10,000 people, which packs the town quite full. It includes festivities in the park, a parade down main street, as well as a boat parade on Rustico Harbour. The celebration is popular among families, teenagers and adults. The day is completed by a fireworks display over the bay.

Hunter River is a municipality that holds community status in Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is located in Queens County southwest of North Rustico. It is situated on the Hunter River. It has been suggested that Hunter River is represented in the works of Lucy Maud Montgomery as Bright River in the fictional region of Avonlea.James Charles McGuigan, who became Archbishop of Toronto and a Cardinal, was born in Hunter River.

Route 2, also known as Veterans Memorial Highway and the All Weather Highway, is a 216-kilometre (134 mi) two-lane uncontrolled access highway traversing Prince Edward Island, Canada from Tignish to Souris. Route 2 was recognized as the first numbered highway in the province in 1890, when it opened between Charlottetown and Summerside. It passes through the cities of Summerside and Charlottetown and roughly parallels the former primary railway line through the province, which was abandoned in 1989. The highway was first paved in the 1950s with many upgrades in recent decades. A perimeter arterial highway (ring road) across the northern and eastern part of Charlottetown was constructed as part of Route 2 in the 1990s with funding from a $200 million federal adjustment fund for road construction after the railway was abandoned. This section of road was extended to Upton Road and is now signed for Route 1 (the Trans-Canada Highway), although Route 2 uses a small portion of the arterial highway between the Malpeque Road and St. Peter's Highway.

Lot 24 is a township in Queens County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is part of Charlotte Parish. Lot 24 was awarded to Charles Lee and Francis MacLeane in the 1767 land lottery. It was sold in arrears for quitrent in 1781 and a portion was granted to Loyalists in 1783.

The North Rustico Harbour Light is an active lighthouse on the central north coast of Prince Edward Island, Canada. The station was established in 1876 and the lighthouse itself was built in 1899. It is still active, and has a focal plane of 12.5 m (41 ft); and a yellow light, 5 seconds on, 5 seconds off. The tower itself is 10 m (34 ft) high with a square pyramidal wood tower with lantern and gallery.
