The John A. O'Farrell House is a combination of Colonial Revival and Queen Anne styles designed by N. W. Bower and built in Boise, Idaho, in 1892. The house was constructed for John A. O'Farrell, one of Boise City's first residents.The 3,238 sq ft (300.8 m2) house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, and it was listed for sale in 2017 at $924,900. The front fence separating the house from West Franklin Street was constructed from a balustrade salvaged from the Dewey Palace Hotel (1903), demolished (1963) in Nampa, Idaho. Original cost of the house in 1892 was $8000.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places September 4, 1979.

The John A. O'Farrell Cabin was built by John A. O'Farrell in Boise, Idaho, in 1863. The cabin is considered the first family home in Boise.

The United States District Court for the District of Idaho (in case citations, D. Idaho) is the Federal district court whose jurisdiction comprises the state of Idaho (except for the part of the state within Yellowstone National Park, which is under the jurisdiction of the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming). Court is held in Boise, Coeur d'Alene, and Pocatello. Cases from the District of Idaho are appealed to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (except for patent claims and claims against the U.S. government under the Tucker Act, which are appealed to the Federal Circuit). The United States Attorney's Office for the District of Idaho represents the United States in civil and criminal litigation in the court. As of February 14, 2025, the acting U.S. attorney for the District of Idaho is Justin D. Whatcott.

The Fred Hottes House in Boise, Idaho, is a 2-story, sandstone and shingle Colonial Revival house designed by Tourtellotte & Co. and constructed in 1908. The house features a cross facade porch and a prominent, pedimented front gable. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Wellman Apartments in Boise, Idaho, United States, is a 2-story, Georgian Revival building designed by Tourtellotte & Hummel and constructed by local contractor J.O. Jordan in 1929. The building included 16 "efficiency" apartments that featured a Murphy bed, kitchenette, dressing room, and bathroom. Soon after the building opened, it was remodeled, although the exterior remains nearly unaltered. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.The Wellman Apartments building was constructed and named for Walter and Ora Wellman, Eastern Oregon ranchers, in 1929. The Dollard Agency, a Boise insurance and real estate firm, may have been involved with the project. Soon after the building opened, the Wellmans sold it to Charles Genoway and Joseph Dollard. In 1931 the Dollard Agency renovated the building, including installation of tile in bathrooms and construction of two apartments in the basement garage. In 1932 the owners installed a ventilation system.

The Adolph Schreiber House is a 2-story, Neoclassical Revival house in Boise, Idaho designed by Tourtellotte & Hummel and constructed by contractor O.W. Allen in 1915. The design included a 10-room dwelling and a second-story apartment accessed from a side entrance. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1982.Adolph Schreiber was a funeral director and embalmer in Boise from 1902 until the late 1930s. He was elected Ada County Coroner in 1904 and continued in that office for several years. Schreiber was in partnership with embalmer Edward Brennan, Schreiber & Brennan, from 1904 until 1906, and then he formed a partnership with William Sidenfaden, Schreiber & Sidenfaden, that lasted until 1925. Boise's first ambulance was purchased by Schreiber & Brennen in 1904.

The H.A. Schmelzel House in Boise, Idaho, is a 1+1⁄2-story bungalow designed by Tourtellotte & Co. and constructed in 1906. It features Colonial Revival details, including flared eaves and an offset porch. First floor walls are veneered with random course sandstone, and front and side gables are covered with square shingles. Square shingles also cover the outer porch walls. The house is considered the first example of a bungalow in the architectural thematic group of John E. Tourtellotte. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The St. Alphonsus' Hospital Nurses' Home and Heating Plant/Laundry in Boise, Idaho, are two buildings designed by architects Tourtellotte and Hummel in 1920 and completed in 1921. Included are a 4-story, brick and sandstone residence for nurses and a 1-story, brick and sandstone heating plant which supplied not only the residence but St. Alphonsus Hospital (demolished) and St. Teresa's Academy (demolished). The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.The nursing staff at St. Alphonsus Hospital was affiliated with Sisters of the Holy Cross, and many nurses had taken vows of celibacy and poverty, hence a need for residential provisions.

The Samuel Hays House, was designed by an unknown architect and constructed in 1892 for Samuel H. Hays in Boise, Idaho, USA. The house was remodeled by Tourtellotte & Hummel 1926–1927 to include six apartments. Part of Boise's Fort Street Historic District, the house was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places November 17, 1982. At the time, the Fort Street Historic District also had been listed November 12, 1982.Samuel Hays was an attorney who served as Idaho Attorney General during the administration of Governor Steunenberg. Hays also became mayor of Boise in 1916 and served until the 1919 election.

The Alexander House is a Queen Anne style house built in Boise, Idaho, in 1897. The house was constructed for Moses Alexander the year he became mayor of Boise. Alexander later became governor of Idaho.According to Boise Parks and Recreation, construction of the Alexander House was inspired when "the mayor’s wife, Helena, had seen a picture in the newspaper with floor plans for a two-story house with many gables. Following these guides, two carpenters managed to construct the wood-frame building." On April 10, 1897, the Coeur d'Alene Press included an illustration and a floor plan for a house similar to the Alexander House.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, and in 1977 the Alexander House became the property of the State of Idaho.

St. Alphonsus Hospital was a three-story, French Renaissance style building in Boise, Idaho, designed by architect J.K. Hollowell in 1893. Completed in 1894, the hospital was part of a small group of buildings constructed by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Boise that included St. Teresa's Academy (demolished). Located at Fifth Street between State and Washington streets, the hospital building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, soon after it became slated for demolition in 1976. It was delisted shortly thereafter.

The Wolters Double Houses are two similar bungalows designed by Tourtellotte & Hummel and constructed in Boise, Idaho, USA, in 1908 and 1909. Both houses were built from a single duplex design. Part of Boise's Fort Street Historic District, the two houses were listed on the National Register of Historic Places November 12, 1982.In 1872 President Grant appointed Albert Wolters superintendent of Boise's new assay office, a position he held until 1883. Wolters then operated smelting and mining operations near Idaho City until 1905, and he returned to Boise in that year to manage his rental properties, building the bungalow at 712-716 N 8th Street in 1908. He constructed the second "double house" at 712-716 N 8th Street in 1909 and occupied one side of the building as his family residence.Original cost of the properties was estimated at $8500 each.
