Cité internationale universitaire de Paris

Cité Universitaire is a station on RER B of Île-de-France's express suburban rail system, the Réseau Express Régional. It is situated in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. The station serves the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris (CIUP) and replaced a line on the Ligne de Sceaux called Sceaux-Ceinture, after the fact that it was a junction with the now-inoperable Ligne de Petite Ceinture

Parc Montsouris is a public park situated in southern Paris, France. Located in the 14th arrondissement, it was officially inaugurated in 1875 after an early opening in 1869. Parc Montsouris is one of the four large urban public parks, along with the Bois de Boulogne, the Bois de Vincennes and the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, created by Emperor Napoleon III and his prefect of the Seine, Georges-Eugène Haussmann, at each of the cardinal points of the compass around the city, in order to provide green space and recreation for the rapidly growing population of Paris. The park is 15.5 hectares in area, designed as an English landscape garden by Jean-Charles Adolphe Alphand.The park contains a lake, a cascade, wide sloping lawns, as well as many notable varieties of trees, shrubs and flowers. It is also home to a meteorology station, a cafe and a guignol theatre. The roads of the park are popular with joggers on weekends. Parc Montsouris is bounded to the south by Boulevard Jourdan and the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris (CIUP), to the north by Avenue Reille, to the east by Rue Gazan and the Rue de la Cité Universitaire and to the west by Rue Nansouty and Rue Émile Deutsch-de-la-Meurthe. Cité Universitaire station on RER B is located in the southern part of Parc Montsouris, where it connects to Île-de-France tramway Line 3a.

The Fondation Émile and Louise Deutsch de la Meurthe is the oldest house in the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris. Founded in 1925, it consists of six residential buildings and one central administrative building, which also houses a bell and clock tower. In total there are 393 beds for 341 rooms: 243 single rooms, 27 double rooms, 56 studios, 10 two-room apartments and 5 three-room apartments. Common spaces include 15 shared kitchens, a laundry room, a TV room, and game room with billiards and ping-pong. The central building also contains a great hall, a small lounge, a classroom, and a music room with frescoes painted by Maurice Guy-Loë. The front of the administrative building has an exit gate and is often referred to as the 37 Boulevard Jourdan gate.

Fondation de l'Allemagne — Maison Heinrich Heine is a cultural center and student hostel building located in the Cité Universitaire complex in Paris, France. It was designed by Johannes Krahn and opened in 1956.

The Fondation Suisse or Pavillon Le Corbusier is a building designed by Le Corbusier between 1930–31 and is located at the Cité Internationale Universitaire, in Paris.

Gentilly is a station on the line B of the Réseau Express Régional, a hybrid suburban commuter and rapid transit line. It is named after the city of Gentilly, Val-de-Marne where the station is located.

Maison du Brésil is a student hostel building located in the Cité Universitaire complex in Paris, France, designed by noted architects Le Corbusier and Lúcio Costa for Brazilian students and scientists. It was built in 1957 and refurbished in 2000. The first sketch for the building was made by Costa, but soon afterwards Le Corbusier became a collaborator, working out the final design.

The École normale supérieure de jeunes filles (also, École normale supérieure de Sèvres) was a French institute of higher education, in Sèvres, now a commune in the suburbs of Paris. The school educated girls only, especially as teachers for the secondary education system. It was founded on 29 July 1881 on the initiative of Camille Sée, following the Sée-inspired act of the legislature which established lycées for girls.

The Paris School of Economics (PSE; French: École d'économie de Paris) is a French research institute in the field of economics. It offers MPhil, MSc, and PhD level programmes in various fields of theoretical and applied economics, including macroeconomics, econometrics, political economy and international economics.PSE is a brainchild of the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS, where the students are enrolled primarily), the École Normale Supérieure, the École des Ponts and University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne, and it is physically located on the ENS campus of Jourdan in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. It was founded in 2006 as a coalition of universities and grandes écoles to unify high-level research in economics across French academia, and was first presided by economist Thomas Piketty. Since its foundation it has gained a certain amount of academic weight, and according to a ranking released by project RePEc in May 2020, it was ranked as the fifth-best university-level economics department in the world and first in Europe. Paris School of Economics' ranking has consistently risen since it was listed on the rankings on RePEc.

The Sainte-Anne Hospital Center (French: centre hospitalier Sainte-Anne) is a hospital located in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, specializing in psychiatry, neurology, neurosurgery, neuroimaging and addiction. With its creation dating to 1651, the organization remains, along with the Esquirol Hospital in Saint-Maurice, the symbol of psychiatric asylums in France.

Rue d'Alésia is a major street in the south of Paris, which runs along the entire east-west length of the 14th arrondissement. It is one of the few streets in Paris named after a French defeat, or more precisely, a Gallic defeat: the Battle of Alesia. Lined with acacia trees, the street extends to the east as Rue de Tolbiac into the 13th arrondissement, and to the west as Rue de Vouillé into the 15th arrondissement. It intersects Avenue du Général Leclerc at the Place Victor et Hélène Basch (or simply Alésia), the location of the Église Saint Pierre de Montrouge, as well as of the Alésia Métro station.

Stade Sebastien Charléty, known simply as Stade Charléty or just Charléty, is a multi-use stadium in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, France. Officially, the current capacity of the stadium is 20,000 people. The stadium opened in 1938 and was designed by French architect Bernard Zehrfuss. It is the current home of Paris FC who compete in Ligue 2. The stadium has hosted many matches during various Rugby League World Cups. It served as the temporary home for the Stade Français rugby union club, starting in 2010–11 and running through 2012–13, while that club was building a completely new stadium at the site of its traditional home, Stade Jean-Bouin. It also hosted a Stade Français home match in the Paris derby with Racing Métro in the 2009–10 season. The stadium has an athletic track that hosted the 1994 and 2002 IAAF Grand Prix Final and the 2003 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival. The stadium was scheduled to host the 2020 European Athletics Championships but that event was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. There is an indoor sporting arena called Salle Pierre Charpy that is located under the stadium. The capacity of the arena is 1,850 people. It is currently the home arena of the French Pro A League professional volleyball team Paris Volley. In May 1968, Charléty made the news for a nonsporting event: on 27 May, the meeting of the Union Nationale des Étudiants de France, one of the most important of the protests of that month, took place, attracting between 30,000 and 50,000 people. The crowd, led by Pierre Mendès-France and Michel Rocard, shouted "Ce n'est qu'un début, continuons le combat!" ("This is only the beginning; let's keep up the fight!")
