Humber Summit

North Albion Collegiate Institute (abbreviated as North Albion CI, NACI or North Albion) is a high school in the Etobicoke area of the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Toronto District School Board. Prior to 1998, it was part of the Etobicoke Board of Education. Its motto is Virtus, Officium, Vertias ("Excellence, Service, Truth").

Nile Academy (Turkish: Nil Akademi) (Nicknamed "Okul"; lit. "School" in Turkish), located in the Humber Summit neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, is a Canadian private school for students between Kindergarten and Grade Twelve. Originally founded in 2005 by Muslim Turkish immigrants belonging to the Hizmet Movement in order to better serve the growing Turkish-Canadian community, the school now has a wide range of students from a variety of backgrounds.

Smithfield is part of the Rexdale neighbourhood in the northwestern area of Etobicoke, in the City of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Some new residents of Toronto and new immigrants to Canada are attracted to this neighbourhood, mainly because there is a large amount of affordable public housing. It is named after the former village of Smithfield that was located at the intersection of Albion Road and Martin Grove Road.The neighbourhood covers the residential areas of Etobicoke north of the west branch of the Humber River and west of Kipling Avenue. The west and north of the neighbourhood are small industrial areas. For social purposes, the city identifies the neighbourhood as Mount Olive-Silverstone-Jamestown, named for three streets in the area. Mount Olive is the name given to the area north of Albion Road between Kipling and Martin Grove. Jamestown is the part of the community south of Albion between Kipling and Martin Grove. Silverstone covers the area west of Martin Grove and north of Finch. The northernmost section of the neighbourhood, above the hydro right of way, is known as South Steeles. The western projection of the area running along the south side of Finch is known as Woodbine Downs.

Etobicoke North (French: Etobicoke-Nord) is a federal electoral district in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, that has been represented by one Member of Parliament in the House of Commons of Canada since 1979. It covers the neighbourhood of Rexdale, in the northern part of the Etobicoke district of Toronto. The riding was created in 1976 from parts of Etobicoke and York West. In the House of Commons, the riding has been represented by Liberal Kirsty Duncan since 2008.

Etobicoke North is a provincial electoral district in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It elects one member to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. It is currently the constituency of Doug Ford, the Premier of Ontario. It was created in 1999 from parts of Etobicoke—Rexdale and Etobicoke—Humber. At the time, it included all of Etobicoke north of a line following the 401 to Dixon Road to Royal York Road to La Rose Avenue. In 2007, the southern border was altered to follow Dixon Road all the way to Humber River.

Thistletown is a culturally diverse neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It consists of the area surrounding the intersection of Albion Road and Islington Avenue in the former City of Etobicoke. (Etobicoke merged with five other municipalities and a regional government to form the new City of Toronto in 1998.) The borders of Thistletown are generally delineated by the Humber River: the West Branch to the south, slightly beyond the river to the east, and to the William Osler Health Centre - Etobicoke General Hospital just above the river in the north. The western border is Kipling Avenue, though the part of the neighbourhood west of Islington is sometimes considered a separate area named Beaumonde Heights. This area has seen many changes and many ethnic groups arrive and flourish. Presently the corners of Albion and Islington in Thistletown has a large presence of East Indian stores and services. They are joined by a variety of Caribbean/West Indian, Indian, Sri Lankan, and Pakistani stores. 43% of those living in this area, more specifically the CT-0250.05 are of South Asian origin, with those of Afro-Caribbean origin making up 22%. One landmark is the Franklin Carmichael Art Group at 34 Riverdale Drive, is named for Group of Seven member Franklin Carmichael by an art foundation founded by his widow and Dr. Ann Curtin.

Woodbridge College is a secondary school in Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada. The school opened its doors in 1958 as Woodbridge High School, and remained a public secondary school until 1991, when it became an alternative school, changing its name to Woodbridge College, with students in grades 7-OAC. In 2000, Woodbridge College's alternative school status ended and it returned to being a public secondary school with grades 9 to 12. The school's name as "Woodbridge College" remains unchanged to present day. The school's current enrolment is approximately 523 students. During the 2015 to 2016 school year, Fraser Institute ranked the school at 279 out of 740 in Ontario.

Humbergrove Secondary School (also called Humbergrove SS, HSS, Humbergrove, colloquially Humbergrove Collegiate Institute), originally known as Humbergrove Vocational School is a Toronto District School Board facility that operated as a public high school operated by the Etobicoke Board of Education from 1965 to 1988. As of 2019, the building remains under TDSB ownership.

Father Henry Carr Catholic Secondary School (also referred to as Father Henry Carr, Henry Carr, FHC, FHCCSS, or Carr) is a Catholic high school administered by the Toronto Catholic District School Board, formerly the Metropolitan Separate School Board in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, named after a Basilian father and founder of the Pontifical Institute of Medieval Studies, Henry Carr (1880–1963). The school was founded in 1974 by the Basilian Fathers and the MSSB as a semi-private school, though the current school building was originally opened in 1966 as Humbergrove Secondary School by the Etobicoke Board of Education when the board merged into the Toronto District School Board in which the school property is leased to the MSSB/TCDSB since 1988. The Humbergrove school was renamed to Marian Academy in 1988 and closed in 2002, though Carr occupied the property since 2007. Carr offers the Advanced Placement (AP) academic program and is known for its elite basketball team. The motto of the school is Domine ut Videam, which translates into "Lord That I Might See".

West Humber Collegiate Institute (WHCI, West Humber) is a public high school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is situated at the corner of Martin Grove Road and John Garland Blvd., just south of Finch Avenue West in the neighbourhood of Rexdale. Opened in 1966, the institute is owned and operated by the Toronto District School Board. Prior to 1998, it was overseen by the Etobicoke Board of Education. Since 1998, the school has annually awarded the Pamela M. Prinold Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is given to a student who demonstrates community involvement, making a difference in their community, and strength in volunteering and leadership – all qualities that Pam Prinold was renowned for.

Thistletown Collegiate Institute (also called Thistletown C.I., T.C.I. or Thistletown) is a high school located in Toronto, in the former city of Etobicoke. It was built originally for the Etobicoke Board of Education and is now a part of the Toronto District School Board. The school is located at the corner of Fordwich Crescent and Islington Avenue. The motto of the school is "Scientia Crescat Vita Colatur" (Let knowledge grow so that life may be enriched).

Humbermede, often called Emery, is a neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Humbermede, like many of the "Humber" neighbourhoods in the city, gets its name from the Humber River. It is bounded on the west by the Humber River, on the north by Finch Avenue West, on the east by the Highway 400 and on the south by Sheppard Avenue West.
