Rafael Hernández International Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto Internacional Rafael Hernández) (IATA: BQN, ICAO: TJBQ, FAA LID: BQN) is a joint civil-military airport located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. It is named after the Puerto Rican composer Rafael Hernández Marín. It is Puerto Rico's second largest international airport in terms of passenger movement. It is located in Porta del Sol tourist region, in Puerto Rico's west coast. It is also home to Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen and to the Caribbean Branch of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations. The airport has the longest runway in the Caribbean region. In the past, the airport has been served by major carriers like Capitol Air, Pan Am (II and III), Kiwi International Air Lines, TWA, American Airlines, Aeronaves de Puerto Rico and Delta Connection, and by Turkish Airlines Cargo on the cargo airline side. Taesa flew in 1996 from Benito Juárez International Airport in Mexico City, and at one time, Arrow Air flew domestic jet service between it and San Juan as well as to JFK International Airport in New York. Pan Am III also flew jets between Aguadilla and San Juan during the early 2000s. Currently, although the airport lacks non-stop flights to Asia, it is the only airport in Puerto Rico served by an Asian commercial airline, in this case by Emirates Sky Cargo.

Ramey Air Force Base also known as Borinquen Field, is a former United States Air Force base in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. It was named after United States Army Air Forces Brigadier General Howard Knox Ramey. Following its closure, it was redeveloped into Rafael Hernandez Airport.

United States Coast Guard Station San Juan is a United States Coast Guard station established in 1993 and located in La Puntilla sector of historic Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Is one of two USCG Search and Rescue station in the Caribbean. Duties at Coast Guard Station San Juan also include law enforcement, Federal On Scene Coordinator (FOSC), Area Maritime Security Coordinator (AMSC) and the Electronic Systems Support Detachment San Juan, Puerto Rico (ESDD SAN JUAN). Coast Guard Station San Juan also conducts escorts of cruise ships and some Navy assets entering and departing San Juan Bay. The Marine Safety Detachment (MSD) is located on the Island of Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Aguacate is a barrio in the municipality of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Its population in 2010 was 1,525.

The University of Puerto Rico at Aguadilla (UPRAG or UPR-Aguadilla) is a public university campus in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. It is part of the University of Puerto Rico. In 2010 the campus went on strike as part of the 2010–2011 University of Puerto Rico strikes. In 2017 in response to budget cuts to the university system by the Financial Oversight and Management Board for Puerto Rico the campus students voted to have an intermittent strike as part of the University of Puerto Rico strikes, 2017.

The Pista Atletica Aguadilla is a 1,000-seat association football stadium on the campus of the University of Puerto Rico at Aguadilla in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. As of the 2019-20 Liga Puerto Rico season, it hosts the home matches of Ramey SC.

Maleza Baja is a rural barrio in the municipality of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Its population in 2010 was 1,887.

Atlantic Gardens Veterans Cemetery is in the United States territory of Puerto Rico. The December 10, 1898 Treaty of Paris transferred Puerto Rico, Guam and the Philippines to the United States control as of December 23 of that year. This cemetery was dedicated in May 2014, and designed for approximately 23,000 burials. Located in the Montaña ward of Aguadilla, the cemetery is on the Garden of Eden Boulevard. The cemetery is owned by the Government of Puerto Rico, grant-funded and operated by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which currently manages 155 national cemeteries. In 2016, the VA established the "Pre-Need Determination of Eligibility Program" to assist with advanced planning.

Montaña is a rural barrio in the municipality of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Its population in 2010 was 4,068. In Montaña barrio is the San Antonio community.

Punta Borinquen Radar Station is a facility of the Puerto Rico Air National Guard home for the 141st Air Control Squadron. Located adjacent to Rafael Hernández Airport (which operates at the old Ramey Air Force Base), in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The facility has operated since 1964 when the 140th Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron (ACWS) was created under the control of Air Defense Command (ADC).
