Isabela barrio-pueblo is a barrio and the administrative center (seat) of Isabela, a municipality of Puerto Rico. Its population in 2010 was 7,826.As was customary in Spain, in Puerto Rico, the municipality has a barrio called pueblo which contains a central plaza, the municipal buildings (city hall), and a Catholic church. Fiestas patronales (patron saint festivals) are held in the central plaza every year.

Jose "Buga" Abreu Coliseum (Spanish: Coliseo Jose "Buga" Abreu Méndez) is a sports arena that is located in Isabela, Puerto Rico that seats 5,000 for basketball & volleyball games. The home of the Isabela Bantams (Spanish: Gallitos de Isabela) men's basketball team and the Isabela Pullets (Spanish: Pollitas de Isabela) women's basketball team. The Coliseum will host the Taekwwondo events for the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games.The coliseum was named after a basketball player, Jose "Buga" Abreu Méndez, who died in a car accident after a Bantams away game during a BSN season in the 1990s.

La Pocita de las Golondrinas Beach

La Pocita de las Golondrinas Beach is a small public and natural saltwater beach in Isabela. It is safe for families with children because of its shallow waters (about two feet deep) and lacks entries to the open sea. It is located about five minutes to the right of Montones Beach. Currently this beach does not have facilities. Still, it is surrounded by food kiosks and there are parking lots in walking distance.
