Sucat, Muntinlupa

The Sucat People's Park, also known simply as Sucat Park and Sucmun Park, is a lakefront park located on the shore of Laguna de Bay in Muntinlupa, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is a public community park in a reclaimed portion of the village of Sucat just north of the Sucat Thermal Power Plant on the border between Purok 3 and Purok 4, east of Don Juan Bayview Subdivision. Entry is from M.L. Quezon Street (Alabang–Pateros Road) and Meralco Road from the Sucat Interchange of the South Luzon Expressway and Dr. Santos Avenue (Sucat Road). The plan for the 0.7-hectare (1.7-acre) park at Sucat was announced in April 2012 during the tenure of Mayor Aldrin San Pedro. Through Resolution No. 12-184, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Muntinlupa approved a loan of ₱14 million from the Development Bank of the Philippines for the development of the people's park and the construction of recreational facilities within the park along with a pier for port landing purposes.Amenities in the park include gazebos, a central fountain, a covered court, cycling and running tracks, parking lot and a daycare center, as well as several food and beverage stalls. Near the park's entrance on M.L. Quezon Street is the Sucat Barangay Hall, Sucat Health Center and Sucat railway station. The park is lined with palm trees and has a boardwalk and pier extending into Laguna de Bay. The JRF Sucat Covered Court, named after Mayor Jaime R. Fresnedi, is also used as a venue for professional boxing, having hosted several matches in the past including those of local boxers Toto Landero, Edison Berwela, Adones Cabalquinto, Vergil Puton and Jayson Rotoni.The Sucat local government charges fees for use of the covered court and gazebo, as well as for banca rentals and fishing activities within the park.

Sucat station is a railway station located on the South Main Line in Muntinlupa, Metro Manila, Philippines. It was originally established by the Manila Railway Company in 1908 as part of the construction of the original Southern Lines to the province of Tayabas, since renamed Quezon. It is also the southernmost area on the PNR Metro Commuter Line to be upgraded to double track as a result of a proposed electrification scheme in 1978. With the construction of the Luzon Rail System, a series of standard-gauge railways throughout Luzon, it is proposed to be one of two interchange stations between the PNR South Long Haul and the North–South Commuter Railway. The present station will be rebuilt into the former's passenger terminus while the NSCR station will be built atop the former Sucat Thermal Power Plant.

Sucat Thermal Power Plant was an oil-fired steam turbine plant in Muntinlupa commissioned in 1968. The plant was fully decommissioned in 2002. The land occupied by the facility is planned to be auctioned by the government to private bidders in late 2015 or early 2016 on conditions that the property will be kept as a power-generation site. Rehabilitation of the facility was previously considered but such plans were dropped after it was deemed too costly to recommission the plant compared to constructing a new one in its place and the facility is already flooded.

Buli is a barangay in Muntinlupa, Philippines. The total land area of Buli is 0.437 km2 (0.169 sq mi), making it the smallest barangay in the city. It has a population of 7,319 making it the least populated barangay in Muntinlupa. It is located in the northern section of the city. Buli is located south of the Manila. It is bounded on the north by the Muntinlupa barangay of Sucat, on the south by the Muntinlupa barangay of Cupang, and on the east by Laguna de Bay.

Azure Beach Club Paris Hilton, also known as Azure Urban Resort Residences, is an urban condominium development in Manila, Philippines. The celebrity heiress Paris Hilton licensed her name to the property and is credited with its interior design. Sales on the first tower began in 2014, and the construction of additional towers is still underway in 2018.The condominium was developed by the Century Properties real estate development corporation, which is also responsible for Manila's Trump Tower Manila and The Gramercy Residences high-rises, among others. The property is located in the Parañaque section of Metro Manila, close to the SM Bicutan Supermall and the South Luzon Expressway. The property plans include a wave pool, basketball court, artificial beach, and roof gardens. In addition, it has a bar and a beach club facility bearing Hilton's name. Hilton has appeared in advertisements for the development, which appear online and in connection to other Century properties. Hilton has also promoted the development on American talk shows,. She is featured on the sales website. In addition, Hilton appeared at an event in Manila commemorating the official opening of the building in March 2014.The property was designed by the English firm Broadway Malyan, which has also designed other Century Properties buildings. Azure Urban Resort Properties, a subsidiary of Century Limitless Corporation manages the property. Although initially the development was planned to have nine towers when completed, currently the company states it plans for seven twenty-story buildings upon completion. Hilton has characterized the licensing deal as her first foray into the real estate business.

The Bureau of Immigration Bicutan Detention Center (BI–Bicutan) is the principal immigration detention center administered by the Bureau of Immigration of the Philippines. Located inside Camp Bagong Diwa, in Lower Bicutan, Taguig, the facility is known internally as the Warden Facility and Protection Unit (WFPU). However, in press releases and public statements, the Bureau variously refers to the facility as being a "jail", "warden facility" or "detention center". The function of the facility is to hold foreign detainees who are awaiting deportation, for example, because they have pending criminal cases, or because they are accused of having overstayed their visas. Perennially overcrowded, it has been accused of widespread human rights abuses and has been compared to a gulag by The Manila Times. As an administrative detention center, there is no constitutional right to bail from BI–Bicutan, and some detainees have spent upwards of ten years there, neither convicted of a crime nor deported from the country.

BF Homes Parañaque, officially Barangay BF Homes, is a gated community and administrative division in southern Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is one of the sixteen barangays that make up Parañaque and is the city's largest barangay and southernmost village. As a subdivision, the local term for gated community, its territory includes portions of neighboring cities, Las Piñas and Muntinlupa. It was formerly known as Las Piñas-Parañaque BF Homes and was developed by Banco Filipino owner Tomas Aguirre in 1968. The development was part of the BF Homes project, alongside its sister branches in Quezon City, Caloocan, and Naga, and became fully operational by early 1970. Philippine media refer to it as "the biggest subdivision in Asia". The larger portion of the development in Parañaque was carved out of the village of San Dionisio to form its own barangay in 1978.

Doña Soledad Avenue is an east-west route in the southern Metro Manila city of Parañaque, Philippines. It traverses barangays Don Bosco and Moonwalk, both located in northeastern Parañaque. It runs from its intersection with E. Rodriguez Avenue in the eastern edge of Moonwalk. The road continues to the east, entering Better Living Subdivision. It then curves north for a few blocks, then turns east and heads for its terminus at Bicutan Exit of South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and Skyway. East of SLEX, the avenue continues as East Service Road into San Martin de Porres and Lower Bicutan in Taguig, where it then continues as General Santos Avenue.It was intended to be a private road meant for Better Living Subdivision residents, but was opened to outsiders because of the heavy traffic when Dr. A. Santos Avenue (Sucat Road) was expanded. This caused poor road conditions on the private road and it is also plagued with heavy traffic due to non-residents passing by. Better Living residents are hoping to have Doña Soledad Avenue be a private road again in the upcoming years, with limited (through subdivision sticker) or tolled access to finance extensive rehabilitation.
