It is the southern terminus of the commuter rail system, with service running north as far as Ogden. The station is also known as Provo Intermodal Hub, Provo Station, or Provo CRS. It is part of the FrontRunner South extension.

The Startup Candy Company is the oldest candy company in Utah and one of the oldest candy companies in the United States. William Startup started making candy in his basement in Manchester, England in 1820. He developed the first hard candy and called it “American Cough Candy” because he hoped to bring his new recipe to America one day. However, William died before making it to America, but he left his legacy to his son and namesake. William Startup Jr. learned the candy-making process as a young boy and continued to run his father’s candy business. In 1868 William and his new bride immigrated to the United States and made their home in Utah where the dry climate is ideal for candy making. In 1874 the couple settled in Provo, Utah where their store quickly became a popular attraction. The original factory is a historic building located in Provo, Utah that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The first candy bars in the United States were produced here. The Startup Candy Company has passed through five generations of Startups and has moved to three different locations. In 2021, the store re-located to American Fork, Utah. Employees use the same recipes and passion for candy-making to create a one-of-a-kind and old-fashioned candies and suckers.

The Simon Peter Eggertsen Sr. House is a historic house in Provo, Utah, United States. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Now it has been repaired, repainted, and appointed with appropriate furnishings of the times, this home very much depicts pioneer design and craftsmanship. The Simon Peter Eggertsen Sr. House was designated to the Provo City Historic Landmarks Registry on March 7, 1996.

Hobble Creek is a stream in Utah County, Utah. Its mouth lies at at its confluence with Utah Lake, at an elevation 4,491 feet (1,369 m). Its source is located at 40°09′45″N 111°30′03″W, at the confluence of the Left Fork and Right Fork Hobble Creek in the Wasatch Range. The source lies at an elevation 5,043 feet (1,537 m). The unincorporated community of Hobble Creek occupies the valley of the creek and its Left Fork. Hobble Creek Canyon was surveyed for the route of the Denver and Salt Lake Railway (D&SL), which started construction in 1902 to connect its namesake cities via the Uinta Basin. Hobble Creek would have provided the connection from the Wasatch Front to the Uinta Basin. While most of the Colorado portion of the D&SL was built and is still in use today, the company went bankrupt before reaching Utah, and the line was never completed. In 2019, the Uinta Basin Rail project published their list of route alternatives for a new effort to link the Uinta Basin by rail. They examined the 1902 D&SL survey to determine if this right of way was still feasible; while the approach to the Uinta Basin from Colorado was seriously considered, the approach from the west, via Hobble Creek, was not advanced to the shortlist of viable options.
