Rawdat Egdaim

The Japan School of Doha (ドーハ日本人学校, Dōha Nihonjin Gakkō, "Doha Japanese School"; Arabic: مدرسة اليابان في الدوحة) is a Japanese international school located in Doha, Qatar.

Al Seej (Arabic: السيج, romanized: As Sīq; also spelled Al Seeq) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan. In the 2015 census, it was listed as a district of Zone 51 which has a population of 56,027 and also includes Izghawa, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Al Gharrafa, Rawdat Egdaim, Bani Hajer and Al Themaid. It borders Bani Hajer to the east, Al Wajbah to the south, Rawdat Al Jahanniya to the west, and Rawdat Egdaim to the north.

Al Rayyan (Arabic: الريان; also spelled Ar Rayyan) is the third-largest municipality in the state of Qatar. Its primary settlement is the city of the same name, which occupies the entire eastern section and is a part of the Doha Metropolitan Area. The vast expanse of mostly undeveloped lands in the south-west also falls under the municipality's administration.

Zone 51 is a zone of the municipality of Al Rayyan in Qatar. The main districts recorded in the 2015 population census were Al Gharrafa, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Izghawa, Bani Hajer, Al Seej, Rawdat Egdaim, and Al Themaid. Other districts which fall within its administrative boundaries are Rawdat Al Jahhaniya and Umm Al Afaei.

Al Themaid (Arabic: الثميد, romanized: Ath Thumayd; also spelled Al Thumaid) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan. In the 2015 census, it was listed as a district of zone no. 51 with a population of 56,027. It also includes Izghawa, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Al Gharrafa, Rawdat Egdaim, Bani Hajer and Al Seej. It borders Rawdat Egdaim to the south and south-east, Izghawa 71 in Umm Salal Municipality to the east, Al Froosh in Umm Salal Municipality to the north, and Rawdat Al Jahhaniya to the west.

Rawdat Al Jahhaniya (Arabic: روضة الجهانية, romanized: Rawḑat al Jahānīyah) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan. It is accessible through Dukhan Highway by road and Al Riffa station by rail. The district is one of the areas in Qatar which allows freehold ownership by foreigners. It is bordered to the east by the districts of Al Seej, Al Themaid, and Rawdat Egdaim, to the north by Jeryan Al Saham, to the west and north-west by Jery Al Dabi, and to the south by Umm Al Jawashen. The Mall of Qatar is located here.

Rawdat Rashed (Arabic: روضة راشد, romanized: Rawḑat Rāshid) is a village in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al-Shahaniya. It was demarcated in 1988. It used to be part of the Jariyan Al Batnah municipality before the municipality was incorporated into Al Rayyan. In 2014, the village was incorporated into the newly created Al-Shahaniya Municipality. Located in central Qatar, approximately 45 kilometres (28 mi) from the capital Doha, the village was once of considerable size but lost much of its population due to government efforts to resettle the country's rural population in Doha in the mid-to-late 20th century. The region in which the village lies is extremely arid and, thus, was historically sparsely populated. Previously, the site was accessible only via unpaved desert roads. The Dhal Al Misfir cave is located in the area.

Al Wajbah Fort is one of the oldest forts in Qatar. Located in the locality of Al Wajbah in Al Rayyan, it is situated 15 km west of Doha. The fort was built in the late 18th or 19th century and was the location of an important battle when the army of Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani subdued the Ottoman army in 1893. It was used as the residence of Hamad bin Abdullah Al Thani at various periods. The fort's most prominent features are its four watchtowers. It underwent restoration in the later 20th century.

Al Riffa station is the western terminus of the Doha Metro's Green Line and serves the municipality of Al Rayyan. It is located on Dukhan Highway, opposite the Mall of Qatar, in the newly developed Rawdat Al Jahhaniya district. The station currently has no metrolinks. Facilities on the premises include restrooms and a prayer room.

Al Wajbah (Arabic: الوجبة) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan. It lies10 miles west of the capital Doha. The village was the site of the Battle of Al Wajbah, an armed conflict between the Ottomans and the Qatari tribes in 1893. It was blockaded by the Ottomans in March 1893. The main encounter took place later that month in the village's Al Wajbah Fort.

The original Ahmed bin Ali Stadium (Arabic: ملعب أحمد بن علي, romanized: Malʿab ʾAḥmad bin ʿAliyy), popularly known as the Al-Rayyan Stadium, was an association football stadium located in the district of Rawdat Al Jahhaniya, Qatar, around 9 kilometres (6 miles) northwest from the centre of Al Rayyan. It was used mostly for football matches and it was the home to Al-Rayyan Sports Club. The stadium was named after Ahmad bin Ali Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar from 1960 to 1972. The stadium, built in 2003, had a seating capacity of 21,282 and was demolished in 2015. The stadium was located 20 km west of Doha.

The new Ahmad bin Ali Stadium (Arabic: ملعب أحمد بن علي, romanized: Malʿab ʾAḥmad bin ʿAliyy), popularly known as the Al-Rayyan Stadium, is an association football stadium located in the district of Rawdat Al Jahhaniya, Qatar, around 9 kilometres (6 miles) northwest from the centre of Al Rayyan. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is home to Al-Rayyan Sports Club. The stadium is named after Ahmad bin Ali Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar from 1960 to 1972. The former stadium, built in 2003, had a seating capacity of 21,282 and was demolished in 2015. The new Al Rayyan Stadium has a seating capacity of 45,032. The stadium is located about 20 km west of Doha.
