The City Mutual Life Assurance Building is a heritage-listed commercial building located at 60-66 Hunter Street, in the Sydney central business district, in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was built during 1936. It is also known as CML Building and 10 Bligh Street. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The Sofitel Sydney Wentworth (also referred to as the Wentworth Hotel) is a heritage-listed luxury five-star hotel located at 61-101 Phillip Street in the Sydney central business district, New South Wales, Australia. The Wentworth Hotel on this site opened in December 1966, to a design by associate architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Laurie & Heath in the Post-war International Style, replacing the original Wentworth Hotel on Lang Street, which had operated since 1855 as one of Sydney's most prominent hotels. Originally owned and operated by Qantas, the hotel was operated by Sheraton from 1982, Rydges from 1995, and has been operated by Sofitel since 2004. The hotel stands at a height of 58.8–63.4 m (193–208 ft), with 20 floors and 436 hotel rooms.

Phillip Street is a street in the central business district of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. While the street runs from King Street in the south to Circular Quay in the north, the present street is effectively in two sections, separated by Chifley Square. Hunter Street East Metro Tower is a proposed skyscraper in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The building is an over-station development situated above the eastern entrance to the new Hunter Street railway station in Sydney’s CBD, forming part of the broader Sydney Metro City & Southwest and Sydney Metro West precinct redevelopment. The tower is expected to rise to approximately 258 metres (846 ft) and 58 floors in height. Planning approvals for the Hunter Street over-station proposals were granted in 2024. The approved concept design calls for a high-rise commercial building delivering office and ground-level retail space for a maximum gross floor area of 84,223 square metres (906,570 sq ft) directly above the new underground station between O'Connell Street and Bligh Street.

New South Wales Club building is a heritage-listed former clubhouse and now offices located at 31 Bligh Street, in the Sydney central business district, in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by William Wardell and built from 1886 to 1887 by John Try. It housed the New South Wales Club from 1886 until the club's amalgamation with the Australian Club in 1969. It was then sold and the two rear wings demolished in 1973 before the surviving front portion was converted to offices. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Chifley Tower is a skyscraper in Sydney, Australia. It was designed by New York City-based architects Travis McEwen and Kohn Pedersen Fox, with John Rayner as project architect. At a height of 244 metres (801 feet), Chifley Tower was the tallest building in Sydney from 1992 to 2019, before being surpassed by Crown Sydney (271 metres) in 2020 and the Salesforce Tower (263 metres) in 2022.

1 Bligh Street is a skyscraper in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The modern style office building is located in the Sydney central business district overlooking Circular Quay, the Sydney Harbour and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The Hotel Metropole was a hotel located on a block bounded by Bent, Phillip, and Young Streets in the central business district of Sydney. From its opening in January 1890, it was considered as one of Sydney's premier hotels, and catered towards rural visitors to the city. Originally designed by architects Sheerin & Hennessy and Twentyman & Askew, the hotel was remodelled and extended in 1929 by Henry Budden. With the land value outstripping the profits gained by the hotel by the late 20th century, the hotel was closed in May 1970 and demolished later the same year to make way for a modernist office development, CAGA House (later demolished in 1992 for Governor Macquarie Tower).

Union, University & Schools Club is a private, social club founded in 1857. and based in Sydney at 25 Bent Street. The Club was formed by a merger between the Union Club and the University & Schools Club in January 2007. Members must be nominated and seconded and the annual membership fee is only disclosed to potential members. The Club has reciprocal relationships with other like minded clubs around the world.
