The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (Arabic: جَامِع ٱلشَّيْخ زَايِد ٱلْكَبِيْر Jāmiʿ Aš-Šaykh Zāyid Al-Kabīr) is located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. It is the country's largest mosque, and is the key place of worship for daily Islamic prayers. There is a smaller replica of this mosque in Surakarta, a city in Indonesia.

The International Tennis Centre, also known as Abu Dhabi International Tennis Complex, is a sports arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The complex opened in 2004 as part of the Zayed Sports City. It has a seating capacity of 5,000 on Centre Court and 600 on Court 2. The sports city features three other major sporting and leisure facilities.

The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) (Arabic: دائرة التعليم والمعرفة), is the educational authority for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the largest emirate of the United Arab Emirates and the home of the country's capital city. The department was initially established as an advisory council on education in 2005 by UAE president and ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with the aim of improving teaching standards in the emirate by increasing the quality of teaching, curriculum, and administration. The department is currently responsible for the management and administration of the emirate's public charter schools. Additionally, it issues licenses, monitors, and inspects the emirate's many different private schools and public universities.

Zayed Sports City Stadium (Arabic: ستاد مدينة زايد الرياضية) is a multi-purpose stadium located in Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The largest stadium in the UAE with 45,000 seats, it was featured on the AED 200 banknote. The stadium was opened in 1979 and was renovated in 2009, with many of the facilities and amenities upgraded to ensure that it complies with international standards and can be used for a wide range of events. The stadium hosted the 1996 AFC Asian Cup including the final, where the United Arab Emirates lost against Saudi Arabia in penalty shoot-outs. The stadium also hosted the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship and the 18th Arabian Gulf Cup. The semifinals and finals of 2009 and 2010 FIFA Club World Cups were also held at the stadium. The stadium again hosted the Club World Cup in 2017 and 2018. It also held the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. It staged the opening and final matches.

Al Bateen Executive Airport (Arabic: مطار البطين, IATA: AZI, ICAO: OMAD) is a dedicated business jet international airport located 6.5 nautical miles (12.0 km; 7.5 mi) south-east of the city centre of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The airport is on the Abu Dhabi island. Other tenants include aviation assets of the UAE government. It opened in 1970, as Abu Dhabi International Airport (not to be confused with the current Abu Dhabi International Airport) to replace the city's previous airport.

Healthpoint is a hospital located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. It was founded in 2013, and specialises in three fields: Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery and Dentistry. Healthpoint is a public hospital and part of Mubadala’s Healthcare Network.

Danat Al Emarat Hospital (DAE) or Mother of Pearl is a hospital dedicated to women and children in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Sitting on a land area of 46,000 square metres (500,000 sq ft), Danat Al Emarat has 150 beds, offering a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient medical services Danat Al Emarat opened its doors in August 2015 and specializes in high-risk pregnancy and general delivery, adult and pediatric intensive care units, and surgical procedures and features a 24-hour walk in clinic.

Launched in 2013, the Emirates Novel Award is awarded to Emirati writers. The winner of the Awards receives AED 60,000 (about US$16,000), the second place AED 40,000, and AED 20,000 for the third place. All winning novels are available in main bookstores across the UAE, and e-books are available.

Tropfest Arabia (Arabic: تروب فست أرابيا) is an extension of Tropfest, the world's largest short film festival. Tropfest began in 1993 as a screening for 200 people in a cafe in Sydney but has since become the largest platform for short films in the world. Tropfest Arabia was first held in November 2011 in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.Tropfest Arabia covers the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and is open to Nationals of Algeria, Bahrain, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen. The event is supported by twofour54 Abu Dhabi whose aim is to establish a sustainable Arabic media and entertainment content creation industry in the Middle East. The second annual Tropfest Arabia film festival took place in Abu Dhabi in October 2012. A regional Tropfest Arabia workshop tour on short filmmaking kicked off in May 2012, with sessions hosted in Egypt, UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco and Iraq.The third Tropfest Arabia film festival took place in Abu Dhabi's Cornishe on November 8. A regional Tropfest Arabia workshop tour on short filmmaking kicked off in May 2012, with sessions hosted in Egypt, UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco and Iraq.

The UAE Public Library and Cultural Center is actually three buildings: a 1,000,000 volume National Library, a performance auditorium and a Conference/Exhibit Center. The site includes a main entrance court with a central fountain, an amphitheater for public & children's performances and a parking facility. Designed by architect Hisham N. Ashkouri as the 1st Prize entry in an International Design Competition in 1976, the design is representative of most modern construction technologies but incorporates local architectural styles and elements, such as decorative glazed brick tiled arcades. Construction was completed in 1982. The total building cost in today's dollars was $56.1 M. The building was demolished to form another set of buildings called The Qasr Al Hosn which serves as a museum and an exhibition center about the U.A.E's culture. Every year a grand exhibition called Al Hosn is hosted there.

Musaffah Port (Arabic: ميناء مصفّح) is an Abu Dhabi Ports' port located in the industrial area of Musaffah south west of the city of Abu Dhabi. The deepwater Musaffah Port and Musaffah Channel include a general cargo terminal at the northwest corner of the Musaffah Industrial Area, as well as an extensive waterfront nearly 40 km long that is occupied by numerous private berths and terminals. It's the city's second port after the establishment of Location Zayed Port in 1972.The port and channel serve the adjacent Musaffah Industrial Area and the industrial areas of ICAD I, ICAD II and ICAD III. A number of large commercial and industrial companies occupy the waterfront, including steel works, shipyards, rig construction, offshore construction and supply, dredging, shipping and construction companies.

Abu Dhabi National Hotels is a broad-based hotel, tourism, transport and catering group, part of which is owned by the Abu Dhabi government. The company's hotel division acts as a hotel developer and operator - partnering with Hilton, Sheraton, Sofitel and Meridien for some of its flagship properties. Whilst the majority of Abu Dhabi National Hotel's properties are located in Abu Dhabi, the company is expanding aggressively across the UAE. As of 2012, within the hotel and hotel apartment sector the company owned over 15 properties located in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah.
