The Central Taiwan University of Science and Technology (CTUST; Chinese: 中臺科技大學; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tiong-tâi Kho-ki Tāi-ha̍k) is a private university in Beitun, Taichung, Taiwan.

Beitun District (Chinese: 北屯區; pinyin: Běitún Qū; Wade–Giles: Pei3-t'un2 Ch'ü1; lit: northern camp) is a district in Taichung, Taiwan. Located in the northern part of the city, it is a half mountainous, half urban area. Though Beitun District used to be considered part of the countryside, the new Taiyuan Station has urbanized it considerably. The highest point of Taichung City is located in Beitun, Douliu Hill (859 m).

Taiyuan Football Field is an association football venue in Taichung, Taiwan. It is currently home to Taichung Blue Whale of the Taiwan Mulan Football League and Taichung Futuro of the Taiwan Football Premier League. The venue was built by Taichung City Government in 2017 and is operated by National Taiwan University of Sport. On 9 November 2019, the Taichung Blue Whale played their first ever ticket-selling match against Hualien in the 2019 Taiwan Mulan Football League Finals. The match was sold out and was claimed that a total of 600 tickets were sold.

Beitun Main Station is a metro station operated by Taichung Metro located in Beitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. It is the eastern terminus of the Green Line, and is located near the depot of the entire line.

Lecheng Temple (Chinese: 樂成宮; pinyin: Lèchéng Gōng) is a temple located in East District, Taichung City, Taiwan. Mazu is the main deity worshipped in the temple, and the sea goddess is known as the "Hanxi Mazu" (Chinese: 旱溪媽祖; pinyin: Hànxī Māzǔ) after the nearby Han River.
