The Saint Arnold Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Houston, Texas, USA, named after a patron saint of brewing, Saint Arnulf of Metz. It was founded in 1994 by Brock Wagner and Kevin Bartol, graduates of Rice University. The brewery offers tours every weekday & Saturday afternoons, which have attracted a large following. Saint Arnold has won numerous national and international awards including Mid Size Brewery of The Year 2017.

The Union Transfer and Storage Building is a building in Houston, Texas, in the United States. Constructed in 1917, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 16, 2001.

Walter's (formerly Walter's on Washington) is a music venue in the Northside Village neighborhood of Houston. Originally opening in 2000 at 4215 Washington Avenue, the venue permanently moved to 1120 Naylor Street on December 25, 2011. The club hosts both local and touring musical acts. The founding owner of the club, Pam Robinson died last fall at the age of 55 after a cancer fight. Her son Zack Palmer took over the reins in late November.

The James Bute Company Warehouse, located at 711 William Street in Houston, Texas, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 7, 1994. The Bute Paint Company, founded by James Bute, operated from 1867 until 1990. Its warehouse building on William Street was built in 1909. Abandoned after 1990, the property was converted to loft apartments in 1993.

The Burnett Transit Center is an elevated light rail station on the METRORail Red Line in Houston, Texas, United States. It was built as part of the North/Red Line Extension, and opened on December 21, 2013.It has three tracks accessed by two island platforms, one for each direction. The center track is used by northbound trains short-turning to return southbound. These trains unload passengers onto the eastern (northbound) platform, and load passengers from the western (southbound) platform. The station features a six-bay bus terminal and a "Kiss and Ride" facility at ground level. The station is located above the intersection of North Main Street and Burnett Street, which was once proposed for a multimodal transit hub prior to 2011.

The Marilyn Davies College of Business is the business school of the University of Houston–Downtown (UHD), with programs fully accredited by the AACSB International. It is one of five academic units at UHD, and is housed in the 150,000-square-foot (14,000 m2) Shea Street Building.

The Houston Intermodal Transit Center (also known as Burnett Plaza) was a planned hub for local, commuter, and intercity transit in Houston (Texas, USA). The site is located adjacent to the campus of the University of Houston–Downtown (UHD). The center would have eventually replaced the Houston Amtrak station, as well as various bus terminals throughout the city such as Greyhound Lines.

The Kiam Building is located at 320 Main Street in Downtown Houston. Clothier Ed Kiam commissioned H.C. Holland to design the five-story, brick Romanesque Revival building, which was completed in 1893. The Kiam Building was the first in Houston to operate an electric elevator, and it was wired for electric lighting. Kiam operated his haberdashery on the ground floor and leased rooms on the upper floors as office space. Another retailer, Sakowitz operated in the Kiam Building between 1918 and 1929. Barry Moore completed restoration of the building in 1981. The Greater Houston Preservation Alliance recognized Moore's work with a Good Brick Award the same year.

The McKee Street Bridge carries McKee Street across Buffalo Bayou in Houston, Texas. Built in 1932, the three-span reinforced concrete girder bridge connects the Second and Fifth Ward areas, northeast of downtown Houston. The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 3, 2002.

Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men (MLCPA), originally Young Men's College Preparatory Academy at E. O. Smith (YMCPA), is a university preparatory secondary school for boys in the Fifth Ward, Houston, Texas. It is a part of the Houston Independent School District. It is named after Mickey Leland. The school opened in August, 2011 for the 6th and 9th grades, and would gradually become a middle and high school. It first opened in the E.O. Smith Education Center campus in the Fifth Ward. The district modeled the school off of the Chicago Urban Prep Academy in Chicago. The school has admission requirements. It later moved to the former Crawford Elementary School, in both the Fifth Ward and in Northside.Some Fifth Ward community members expressed disappointment that the previous E.O. Smith students would be displaced by the opening of the new magnet school.The HISD board approved the renaming of the school to Leland College Preparatory Academy in 2014.HISD plans to build the permanent Leland school on the site of the former Carter Career Center, which once served as Wheatley High School and E.O. Smith. The new building will look similar to the original one.

Northside High School, formerly Jefferson Davis High School, is a secondary school located at 1101 Quitman in the Near Northside neighborhood of Northside, Houston, Texas with a ZIP code of 77009. The school was previously named after Jefferson Davis, the only president of the Confederate States of America.The school, which serves grades 9 through 12, is a part of the Houston Independent School District. The mascot of Northside is the Panther.The school also has a Hotel and Restaurant Management magnet program. The HISD board voted to give the school its current name in 2016.
