San Giuseppe delle Scalze a Pontecorvo is a church, located in Salita Pontecorvo, in the historical center of Naples, Italy. The church was built in 1619 in the site where the Palazzo Spinelli a Pontecorvo stood, and was rebuilt in 1643 and 1660 by Cosimo Fanzago. Decoration in the exterior and interior were added in 1709 by Giovanni Battista Manni. The church first was linked to Tersian monks, and then to Barnabite priests. The earthquake of 1980 brought down the frescoed ceiling, and failure to protect the fragments led to their degradation, as well as the interior. Vandalism further despoiled the interior or marble and balustrades. The building has not been reconstructed or deconsecrated. The interior has a Greek cross plan with four corner chapels. Much of the interior artwork has been removed, including a St Joseph and Young Jesus (1660) by Luca Giordano, and now in the Museo di Capodimonte. A Calvary and a St Teresa and St Peter of Alcantara by Francesco di Maria are now kept in the Museum of San Martino.

The church of Santa Maria di Montesanto and the annexed monastery were built in Naples, Italy, by a community of Carmelite friars that had its origins in Montesanto, Sicily. The initial architect was Pietro De Marino, but the work including the cupola (1680) was completed by Dionisio Lazzari. The facades, done in the 19th century by Angelo Viva, depict Our Lady of Carmel (the Madonna del Carmelo). The interior is on a Latin-cross plan. In the first two chapels are canvases by Paolo De Matteis, depicting St Michael Archangel and the Miracle of St Anthony (1693). In one arm of the transept is the Crucifixion with Madonna and St John the Baptist, an 18th-century wood sculpture by Nicola Fumo. An interior chapel, dedicated to Saint Cecilia, was patronized by the musicians from the Real Cappella Palatina. The church houses the tomb of the composer Alessandro Scarlatti, who died in 1725, the altar surmounted by a painting of Giuseppe Simonelli which depicts Saint Cecilia.

Santa Maria del Rosario a Portamedina (also known as the church of Santa Giovanna d'Arco or Rosariello a Portamedina) is a church located on Via Rosario in Portamedina in the Quartieri Spagnoli of the historic center of Naples, Italy. The church was founded in 1568 by the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, and church and cloister were completed in the 17th century. From 1724 to 1742, the complex underwent reconstruction, which gives the site its present shape, external rococo decoration, and internal stucco details. This was likely carried out by either Domenico Antonio Vaccaro or his followers. In 1929, the conservatory of the Dominican order was transferred to nuns of the Compagnia di Maria and in 1937 it was recognized legally as a school. During the twentieth century, the complex was enlarged and altered. The facade facing a narrow street, has an ornate stucco portico. The interior is a centralized with two chapels, a rectangular apse, and no dome. At present, the church is closed to the public.

San Michele Arcangelo or San Michele a Port'Alba is one of four major churches facing Piazza Dante in Naples, Italy. It stands near Port'Alba, a city gate opening to the piazza. Construction of the church, originally called Santa Maria della Provvidenza, began around 1620, but it underwent reconstruction in the 18th century by architect Domenico Antonio Vaccaro and expansion by designs of Giuseppe Astarita. The present facade is in Rococo style. The church was reopened in October, 2010. The interior contains a St Michael by Giuseppe Marullo and a Sant'Irene and Sant'Emidio by Vaccaro, the architect. The 18th century ceiling frescoes were painted by Lucio Stabile. In the sacristy is a marble font (1758) by Nicola Tagliacozzi Canale, and two walnut pews (1772) by Nunzia Tancredi with two oval marble reliefs depicting the Adoration of the Shepherds and Adoration of the Magi.

The Church of Santa Maria di Caravaggio is a Baroque Catholic church located on Piazza Dante, in Naples, Italy. Construction was begun in 1627 under the patronage of Felice Pignella, and dedicated to the Holy Mary of Caravaggio, a small town in the Province of Bergamo. This attribution of Mary recalls an apparition of the Virgin in 1432. The church was first attached to the Piarists, a religious order dedicated to teaching, and later to the Barnabites. In 1873, it became property of the Prince of Naples Institute for Blind Children (Italian: Instituto Principe di Napoli per giovani non vedenti). The architect who helped complete the work was Giovan Battista Nauclerio. The dome was restored in 1846 by Michele Stellati. The main altarpiece contains a painting entitled The Birth of Mary, painted by Gaetano Gigante. The chapels to the right have paintings of St Joseph by Francesco Solimena, an anonymous Madonna della Provvidenza, and a Deposition by Domenico Antonio Vaccaro. The chapels on the left have a Sant'Antonio Zaccaria, by Luigi Scorrano; the tomb of the Barnabite priest, St. Francis Xavier Bianchi, and a painting depicting the apparition of the Virgin to peasants in Caravaggio. Other works in the church were completed by Errico Giovine and Giuseppe Bonolis.
