The Millennium Library (known as the Centennial Library from 1977 to 2005) is the main branch of the Winnipeg Public Library system, located in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The library is located at 251 Donald Street, and serves approximately 5,000 visitors each day.The four-storey, 17,600-square-metre (189,000 sq ft) library boasts a local history room, public art, information displays, a grand staircase, as well as access to the Winnipeg Walkway system. The Best of Friends Gift Shop is also situated within the building.

Holy Trinity Anglican Church is a historic Anglican church in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Founded in 1867, the fourth and current Gothic Revival church was built from 1883 to 1884. It is part of the Anglican Church of Canada's Diocese of Rupert's Land. Since 1990, it has been recognized as a National Historic Site of Canada and listed on Winnipeg's heritage register for its expression of the High Victorian Gothic style.

St. Mary's Cathedral is a cathedral church located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is the episcopal see of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Winnipeg. Located at the corner of Saint Mary Avenue and Hargrave Street in downtown Winnipeg, St. Mary's is one of two Roman Catholic cathedrals in the city of Winnipeg; the other, St. Boniface Cathedral, is located across the Red River in the formerly independent city of Saint Boniface. St. Mary's was originally designed in 1880 by C. Balston Kenway and was updated in 1896 by Samuel Hooper, an English-born stonemason and architect who was later appointed Provincial Architect of Manitoba. The building features elements of Romanesque revival and Germanic architecture.The Institute for Stained Glass in Canada has documented the stained glass at St. Mary's Cathedral.

The Metropolitan Entertainment Centre (also known as the Met Entertainment Centre or simply The Met)—formerly the Metropolitan Theatre—is a Canadian theatre in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, designed by American architect C. Howard Crane. It is located at 281 Donald Street, across from Canada Life Centre and north of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church. It was originally known as Allen Theatre, after its owners the Allen brothers, who built a chain of cinemas throughout Canada in the early 20th century. After its acquisition by Famous Players in 1923, it was renamed the Metropolitan Theatre. It is one of four surviving theatres built by the Allen brothers in Canada, and one of three surviving Canadian buildings designed by Crane.The theatre was renovated in 1948 and was shuttered in November 1987. It was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1991 and was sold to Canad Inns in 2006, which with other investors was to convert the building for use as a rock and roll museum. Those plans were scuttled, but by 2011 work was undertaken to renovate the building to reflect its original design. The renovated building was opened in November 2012 featuring a restaurant, lounge, and special events facilities.

Canada Life Centre (formerly MTS Centre and Bell MTS Place) is an indoor arena in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba. The arena is the home of the National Hockey League's Winnipeg Jets and their American Hockey League affiliate, the Manitoba Moose.The arena stands on the former Eaton's site and is owned and operated by True North Sports & Entertainment. The 440,000 square feet (41,000 m2) building was constructed at a cost of $133.5 million CAD. It opened on November 16, 2004, replacing the since-demolished Winnipeg Arena. It has a capacity of 15,321 for hockey and 16,345 for concerts.

Lakeview Square is a full-block, mixed-use development in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba. It opened in 1974 and was developed by Lakeview Properties, Ltd.

True North Square is a public plaza and mixed-use development in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba. Managed by True North Real Estate Development, a joint venture between James Richardson & Sons and True North Sports & Entertainment, it is still under construction, with two buildings officially complete and open. True North Square is situated between Canada Life Centre and RBC Convention Centre, in the city's unofficial sports and entertainment district.The True North Square is set to feature four towers in total, spanning over 1 million square feet (23 acres) of office, residential, retail, hotel, and public space. The first tower, located at 242 Hargrave Street, opened in June 2018 as a 17-storey Class A office and retail building, becoming the first privately-developed office building in Winnipeg since 1990. It was joined in July 2019 by the second tower, located at 225 Carlton Street, which is a 25-storey residential rental building with complementary office and retail spaces.

The Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame and Museum is a hall of fame and museum for ice hockey in Manitoba, located on the main level of the Canada Life Centre in downtown Winnipeg. It was established in 1985, when the first honoured members were named and plaques were erected in their honour. The first group of inductees was large in order to recognize the accomplishments of Manitoba players, coaches, builders, and teams at the international, national, provincial, and local levels for many years. Induction ceremonies were held on an annual or bi-annual basis through 1993. Since 1995, the Foundation has added to its honour-roll every second year. The Players Wall is just inside the main entrance in the northeast corner and the Builders Wall is in the northwest corner. A Wall of Champions for teams in the Hall of Fame is located opposite the Builders Wall. The museum also includes a tribute to Olympic gold medallists and an enclosed memorabilia area. Until it was relocated to the MTS Centre (now Canada Life Centre) in late 2004, the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame and Museum was housed in the Winnipeg Arena. The Foundation also maintains a Wall of Fame photo gallery in the Canad Inns Polo Park in Winnipeg.

The Birks Building (formerly known as the YMCA Building) is a four-storey building located on the corner of Portage Avenue and Smith Street in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg (formerly the Winnipeg Convention Centre) is a major meeting and convention centre located in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It has five levels including indoor parking for 729 vehicles, and three levels of various meeting trade show space totalling 260,000 square feet (24,000 m2). The main exhibit hall has 131,000 square feet (12,200 m2) of pillar-less space.The convention centre is connected to the Winnipeg Walkway system via an above-ground walkway connection crossing St. Mary Avenue and Hargrave Street to Cityplace mall. The Walkway system also provides convenient access to the Canada Life Centre, the city's 15,300-seat indoor arena which is home to the Winnipeg Jets.

The Meeting Place (TMP) is an evangelical Mennonite church located in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is a member of the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches and the Mennonite Brethren Church of Manitoba. The Meeting Place's mission statement is "to be a biblically-functioning community leading people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ."

Manitoba Hydro Place (MHP) is an office tower serving as the headquarters building of Manitoba Hydro, the electric power and natural gas utility in the province of Manitoba, Canada. Located at 360 Portage Avenue in downtown Winnipeg and connected to the Winnipeg Walkway system, Manitoba Hydro Place received LEED Platinum certification in May 2012, making it the most energy-efficient office tower in North America and the only office tower in Canada to receive the LEED Platinum rating.Opened as Winnipeg's 4th tallest building in September 2009, the 21-story office tower brought together 1,650 employees from 15 suburban locations into one 695,000 sq ft (64,568 m2) high-rise on a full, downtown block. With the design's plan view resembling a capital letter "A", the project comprises two 18-storey twin wings framing three 6-storey, south-facing atria (winter gardens). The design's stepped, three-storey, street-scaled podium contains retail space as well as an interior pedestrian street and a single level of parking, partially below grade — over which sit the atria, office wings and their 3-storey mechanical penthouse. Total project cost was C$278m.The building's bioclimatic, energy-efficient design features a 377 ft (115 m) tall solar chimney, a geo-thermal HVAC system using 280 five-inch tubes bored 380 feet into an underground aquifer, 100% fresh air (24 hours a day, year-round, regardless of outside temperature) and a one-meter-wide double exterior wall with computer-controlled motorized vents that adjust the building's exterior skin throughout the day and evening. Together, the various elements of the design enable a 70% energy savings over a typical large office tower.In 2009, CBC News called Manitoba Hydro Place one of "the most energy-efficient office towers in the world" and the Toronto Star called MHP the "most important building in Canada."
