Faxe or Fakse is a town on the island of Zealand in eastern Denmark. It is located in Faxe Municipality in Region Zealand. The town is most known for the Faxe Brewery, Royal Unibrew, a relatively large brewery producing a range of beer and soft drinks, soda, energy drinks, Faxe Kondi and many more and so on. On the edge of town lies a big limestone quarry (1 km2), Faxe Quarry owned by Faxe Kalk. A Haribo Licorice (“Haribo Lakrids A/S”) factory was also founded in Faxe in 1935.

Faxe Church (Danish: Faxe Kirke) is a Danish church located in the Diocese of Roskilde, in Faxe, Region Sjælland on the island of Zealand. It was built at the end of the 15th century on a site where there had originally been a Romanesque church. A number of frescos, probably painted by artists from the Brarup workshop, have been uncovered on the cross vaults, most recently above the organ.

Roholte is a village and parish in Faxe Municipality, Region Zealand, Denmark. By road it is located 10.5 kilometres (6.5 mi) south of Faxe, and 83.2 kilometres (51.7 mi) southwest of Copenhagen. Of note is Roholte Church, the parish church, which was built in 1441, and the Morten Roholte sports club.

Roholte Church (Danish: Roholte Kirke) is a church located in the village of Roholte, between Faxe and Præstø in Roholte Parish, Faxe Municipality, Region Zealand, Denmark. From 1441 to 1677, the church belonged to the king. In 1737, it became the property of Otto Thott. It remained in the Thott family until 1953. The original architecture is in the Late Gothic style, with additions in 1500 and renovations in 1884. The interior is a mix of Gothic and High Renaissance styles. The crucifix once had an inscription, now lost, that was among the oldest of its kind.

Strandegaard is a manor house and estate located in Faxe Municipality, Denmark. The estate was acquired by Otto Thott and two sisters in 1631 and is still owned by the Thott/Reedtz-Thott family. It is managed as an organic farm and other activities include Feddet Beach Camping & Resort.

Lindersvold is a former manor house and estate located just north of Præstø Fjord, Faxe Municipality, some fifty kilometres south of Copenhagen, Denmark. The estate was founded by Christoffer Lindenov and remained in the hands of the Lindenoc family for almost one hundred years. It was later owned by the Thott/Reedtz-Thott family between 1732 and 1923, from 1705 as part of the Barony of Gavnø. The current main building is from 1830. Lindersvold is now owned by Den selvejende institution Fælleseje and operated as a private primary school for children with special challenges under the name Heldagsskolen Lindersvold.

Lystrup is a manor house and estate located two kilometres west of Faxe, in Faxe Municipality, Denmark. The Dutch Renaissance style main building was built in 1579 for Chancellor of the Realm Eiler Grubbe (1532–1585). In the late 1600s, the main building was rebuilt and a new south wing was erected.

Tingerup Tykke is a woodland located south of Rønnede on the island of Zealand in eastern Denmark. It is the site of source of the Suså River, Denmark's 5th largest river. Tingerup Tykke is located just south of Rønnede, some 20 kilometers east of Næstved.

Rønnede is a town in Faxe Municipality, in Region Zealand, Denmark. Prior to the Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007), it was the municipal seat of Rønnede Municipality.

Dalby is a town in Faxe Municipality, in Region Zealand, Denmark.

Christinelund, originally a farm under Nysø Manor, is located a few kilometres east of central Præstø, on the island of Zealand's Jungshoved peninsula, in Vordingborg Municipality in southeastern Denmark. It takes its name from the salonist Christine Stampe and was frequently visited by Hans Christian Andersen in the 1850s, when it was the home of Henrik and Jonna Stampe. The current main building was completed in 1860 to a design by the architect Ferdinand Meldahl. It was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places by the Danish Heritage Agency on 23 February 1978. The property is now operated as a bed and breakfast.

Rønnede was a municipality (Danish, kommune) in the former Storstrøm County in south Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 125 km2, and had a total population of 7,289 (2005). Its last mayor was Kurt Rosner, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and site of its municipal council was the town of Rønnede with a population of 2,402 (1 January 2015)Neighboring municipalities were Fakse and Vallø to the east, Køge to the north, and Haslev, Holmegaard, and Fladså to the west. To the south was Fakse Bay (Fakse Bugt). On 1 January 2007 Rønnede municipality ceased to exist due to Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It merged with the existing municipalities of Fakse and Haslev to form the new Faxe municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 406 km2 and a total population of 34,313 (2005). The new municipality belongs to the new Region Sjælland ("Zealand Region").
