Al Mazrouah (Arabic: اَلْمَزْرُوعَة, romanized: Al Mazrū‘ah) is a village in the municipality of Umm Salal in Qatar. It is located south of the town of Umm Salal Ali and west of Bu Fasseela, another village in the same municipality.

Al Froosh (Arabic: الفروش, romanized: Al Furūsh; also spelled Al Furoush) is a village in the municipality of Umm Salal in Qatar. It is directly west of the town of Al Kharaitiyat and southwest of the town of Umm Salal Mohammed.

Umm Salal Mohammed (Arabic: أم صلال محمد, romanized: Umm Şalāl Muḩammad) is a town in the municipality of Umm Salal in Qatar. The town has numerous farms, wells and a large water reservoir which is filled during the rainy season.

The Umm Salal Stadium (Arabic: ملعب أم صلال) is a proposed football stadium which will be built in Umm Salal, Qatar. It is being designed by Albert Speer & Partner GmbH.

Zone 71 is the only zone in the municipality of Umm Salal in the state of Qatar. The main districts recorded in the 2015 population census were Bu Fasseela, Izghawa, Al Kharaitiyat, Umm Salal Ali, Umm Salal Mohammed, Saina Al-Humaidi, Umm Al Amad, and Umm Ebairiya. Other districts which fall within its administrative boundaries are Abu Thaylah, Al Froosh, Al Mazrouah, Jeri Al Samir, Jeri Khabbab, Muaither Al Dasem, Muaither Al Meshaf, Rawdat al `Ajuz, Umm Shaharain, Wadi Al Askar, and Wadi Al Waab.

Bu Fasseela (Arabic: بوفسيلة, romanized: Bū Fasīlah) is a village in the municipality of Umm Salal in Qatar.

Barzan Towers (Arabic: برج برزان "High Place"), also known as the Umm Salal Mohammed Fort Towers, are watchtowers that were built in the late 19th century and renovated in 1910 by Sheikh Mohammed bin Jassim Al Thani. They are located at the southern side of the defensive system established at the end of the 19th century and start of the 20th century to protect the 'rawdat', a valley where precious rainwater is collected when it flows down from higher ground. In Arabic "barzan" means "high place". The buildings were restored in 2003. The towers measure 16 metres (52.49 ft) high. The fort links to two other fortified buildings towards the west and another tower towards the north. Barzan Towers may have been built near the sea to keep an observant eye on pearl divers, as a look-out for approaching ships, and as an observatory for keeping track of the moon. The Barzan Towers have been rebuilt with features such as air-conditioners. Originally built with coral rock and limestone cementing the structures featured traditional Qatari design and building methods including "marazim" wooden to drain rainwater during storms away from the building walls, a "majilis" room between the towers to receive guests, and four-layer roofs with "danchal" wood pole construction, 'basgijl,' woven bamboo strips, mangrove mesh and a layer of compressed mud.

Umm Salal (Arabic: أم صلال, romanized: Umm Ṣalāl; also spelled Umm Slal) is a municipality in the State of Qatar. It contains several historic places, such as Barzan Tower. The municipal headquarters of Umm Salal is located in Umm Salal Ali, about 10 km from the coast and 15 km north of Doha, the Qatari capital.

Umm Salal Ali (Arabic: أم صلال علي, romanized: Umm Şalāl ‘Alī) is the seat of the municipality of Umm Salal in Qatar.

Al Kharaitiyat (Arabic: الخريطيات, romanized: Al Khurayţīyāt) is a town in the municipality of Umm Salal in Qatar.

Al Themaid (Arabic: الثميد, romanized: Ath Thumayd; also spelled Al Thumaid) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan. In the 2015 census, it was listed as a district of zone no. 51 with a population of 56,027. It also includes Izghawa, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Al Gharrafa, Rawdat Egdaim, Bani Hajer and Al Seej. It borders Rawdat Egdaim to the south and south-east, Izghawa 71 in Umm Salal Municipality to the east, Al Froosh in Umm Salal Municipality to the north, and Rawdat Al Jahhaniya to the west.

Umm Ebairiya (Arabic: أم عبيرية, romanized: Umm ‘Ābirīyah) is a Qatari village in the municipality of Umm Salal. In the 2015 census, it was listed as a district of Zone 71, which has a population of 90,835 and also includes all of Umm Salal's other administrative districts. It borders Umm Al Amad to the east, Umm Salal Ali to the southeast and Saina Al-Humaidi to the northeast.
