The Uganda Sugar Manufacturers' Association (USMA), is a registered, professional organization that brings together four large sugar manufacturers in Uganda. The association aims at promoting sustainable, profitable manufacture of sugar and related products, in a sustainable, environmentally friendly fashion, for the economic development of the industry, employees and country. USMA represents Uganda in matters related to the International Sugar Organization.

Electricity Regulatory Authority House, also New ERA House, is a commercial office building constructed between June 2018 and September 2021, in Kampala, the capital of Uganda, and the largest city in that country. The building serves as the headquarters of Electricity Regulatory Authority, (ERA), the Uganda government agency responsible for the regulation, licensing, and supervision of the generation, transmission, distribution, sale, export, and importation of electricity in that country.

The Afriart Gallery (AAG) is an art gallery located on the 7th Street Industrial Area in Kampala in Uganda that was established in 2002. It represents and manages careers of contemporary artists living and working on the African continent. AAG showcases artists at major international art exhibitions and art fairs. There is a gallery space exhibiting temporary exhibitions on ground. It is where the launch for the Artfest magazine happened.

Kyadondo Rugby Club is a rugby union ground in Kampala, Uganda. It was built in 2000. Facilities include main ground, a training pitch and a club house.The ground is home to several club teams, among them Heathens RFC, a leading rugby club in Uganda. It has also hosted home games of the Uganda national rugby union team, but the Uganda Rugby Union is considering hosting games at the National Stadium or Nakivubo Stadium due to limited capacity of Kyadondo.The club has also been a concert venue, Beenie Man is among the high-profile performers.

Lugogo Stadium, also known as Lugogo Cricket Oval, is a cricket ground in Kampala, Uganda. The first recorded match held on the ground came in 1957 when Kenya Asians played Sunder Cricket Club. It has also gained popularity as a music concert venue in Uganda. In that same year Uganda first used the ground when the national team played the Sunder Cricket Club. The ground held its inaugural first-class match when an East African Invitation XI played the touring Marylebone Cricket Club in 1963. A further first-class match followed in 1967 when a combined East Africa team played the touring Indians. The next first-class matches to be held on the ground didn't come until 2005, when Uganda played two matches there in the Intercontinental Cup against Kenya and Namibia. The Lugogo Stadium is the only cricket venue in Uganda to have held first-class cricket. Surrounding the cricket ground there are tennis courts and a football ground which is the home ground of Kampala City Council FC.

The Daily Monitor is a Ugandan independent daily newspaper. Its name is shared by the Saturday Monitor and Sunday Monitor, which are also published by Monitor Publications Limited. Daily Monitor averaged a daily circulation of 24,230 newspapers in September 2011. By the fourth quarter of 2019, that figure had dropped to 16,169 copies daily.

The Vision Group of Companies, commonly known as the Vision Group, is a multimedia conglomerate in Uganda. It publishes the New Vision (newspaper), an English-language daily newspaper, that appears in print form and online, as well as newspapers and magazines in a variety of Ugandan languages.

Uganda Manufacturers' Association (UMA), is an industry-association in Uganda, that aims to bring together Ugandan industrialists and manufacturers in an attempt to guide the industrial actors in the country towards global competitiveness, on a sustainable basis. The association advises the government of Uganda in the formulation of national and regional industrial policy. UMA also serves as a collective lobby and mouthpiece for its members.

Aga Khan University Hospital, Kampala, is a hospital under construction in Uganda, the third-largest economy in the East African Community. It is an urban, tertiary, referral and teaching hospital whose planned construction will last five years, starting in 2020. It will be built in two phases. The first phase will consist of 150 beds at an estimated cost of US$100 million. The bed capacity will be increased to 600 during the second phase.

MTN Uganda is the largest telecom company in Uganda, with 11.2 million subscribers, accounting for 55 percent market share, as of 30 June 2017. By 31 December 2019, its customer base had increased to 12.6 million customers. In March 2021, the Uganda Communications Commission estimated the number of MTN customers in Uganda at 15 million, out of 28.3 million mobile network subscribers, thereby attaining a 53 percent market share.
