The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks is an exhibition center located in Oaks, Pennsylvania. It has five adjoining exhibit halls, 9 meeting rooms, two small food courts, and a total area of over 240,000 square feet on one floor. It is among the largest suburban exposition centers on the East Coast of the United States. Oaks, Pennsylvania is approximately 7 miles (11 km) northwest of King of Prussia via the Pottstown Expressway (U.S. Route 422). In August 2023, Liberty Comic Con held their inaugural Comic Con, which was successful. Even though Liberty Comic Con was a success The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center will not renew their contract citing “Contropolis doesn’t want you there” despite Contropolis not having a contract yet.

Upper Providence Township is a township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of the 2010 census, the township population was 21,219.

The American Treasure Tour is a tourist attraction established in 2010 and opened to the public for guided tours. Visitors travel through a large private collection that encompasses an eclectic variety of smaller collections. Included is one of the world's largest private collections of automatic music machines: nickelodeons, band organs, calliopes, photoplayers, and music boxes. There are also classic cars, circus art, dolls and dollhouses, and a large assortment of popular culture miscellanea. It is located in the 422 Business Center in the community of Oaks, Pennsylvania, west of Valley Forge National Historical Park just off of U.S. Route 422.

Perkiomen Creek is a 37.7-mile-long (60.7 km) tributary of the Schuylkill River in Berks, Lehigh and Montgomery counties, Pennsylvania. The water course was also named Perquaminck Creek, on Thomas Holme's 1687 map.

The Manor of Gilberts was one of the areas of land that William Penn set aside for himself as the Proprietor of the Province of Pennsylvania. The Manor was located on the along the left (northeastern) bank of the Schuylkill River, extending above and below the Perkiomen Creek. The Manor was created on 8 October 1683 when Penn wrote a warrant assigning the Manor to himself. The tract was named after his paternal grandmother Joanne (Gilbert) Penn's family.The initial Manor was 60,000 acres (24,000 ha), ranging from below Pottstown (i.e. Limerick Township) down through what is now Norristown. By the 1687 map, the Manor had shrunk to 10,000 acres (4,000 ha) of land. Then the Manor just included all of present day Upper and Lower Providence Townships, the Burroughs of Trappe and Collegeville, and portions of Perkiomen; Skippack; and Worcester Townships.In 1699, the area of the Manor that is now Lower Providence Township, east of the Perkiomen, was deeded to the Pennsylvania Land Company of London who leased it for income. By 1760, the Pennsylvania Land Company was dissolved by Parliament and its lands sold at auction, although most were bought by the former lease holders. The area west of the Perkiomen was leased directly by Penn and his heirs. The Manor name was abandoned in 1729 with the organization of Providence Township. All Manor lands were in that portion of Philadelphia County that was subsequently split off to form present day Montgomery County, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA.

Oaks is an unincorporated community located in Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The community is 18 miles (30 km) northwest of Philadelphia and its boundaries are defined in large part by the village's position at the junction of Perkiomen Creek and the Schuylkill River.

Providence Township was a township in southeastern Pennsylvania, United States from 1729 until it was divided in 1805. Initially the township was part of Philadelphia County. Then in 1784, Providence Township was in that portion of Philadelphia County that was split off to form Montgomery County.

Mill Grove is a historic house and estate on Pawlings Road in Audubon, Pennsylvania. Built in the 1760s, it is notable as the first home in America of painter and naturalist John James Audubon (1785-1851), for whom the community is named. The 130-acre (53 ha) estate is now maintained as a museum and wildlife sanctuary by Montgomery County, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1989. The house serves as the educational center of the Pennsylvania chapter of the National Audubon Society, and is known as John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove.

Fatland (Audubon, Pennsylvania) – also known as "Fatland Farm," "Fatland Ford" and, currently, "Vaux Hill" – is a Greek Revival mansion and estate in Audubon, Pennsylvania. Located on the north side of the Schuylkill River, opposite Valley Forge, the property was part of the Continental Army's 1777-78 winter encampment. On consecutive days in September 1777, its stone farmhouse served as headquarters for General George Washington and British General Sir William Howe. The farmhouse was demolished about 1843, and the mansion was completed on its site about 1845. The Wetherill Family owned the property for 121 years—1825 to 1946. A private cemetery contains the graves of some of Fatland's owners, and of Free Quakers who supported the Revolutionary War.

Valley Creek is a 10.8-mile-long (17.4 km) tributary of the Schuylkill River in eastern Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States, flowing through an area known as the Great Valley.Around 1740 a forge was erected along Valley Creek near its confluence with the Schuylkill. This gave rise to the community of Valley Forge. Later the creek powered a saw mill and grist mill there. In 1777, the forge and mills were destroyed by the British Army during the American Revolutionary War. In December 1777, George Washington chose Valley Forge as the site for the winter encampment of the Continental Army partly because Valley Creek and the Schuylkill River formed natural defensive barriers for the rear of the camp. Washington's Headquarters during this period was in a farmhouse close to the confluence. The American forces departed in the spring of 1778.

Washington's Headquarters at Valley Forge, also known as the Isaac Potts House, is a historic house that served as General George Washington's headquarters at Valley Forge during the American Revolutionary War. The building, which still stands, is one of the centerpieces of Valley Forge National Historical Park in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The house was built about 1773, and Washington made it his headquarters during the Continental Army encampment between December 1777 and June 1778. The restored building is part of the Valley Forge National Historical Park and is open to the public. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1972.The house is located in Upper Merion Township.

The Freedoms Foundation is an American non-profit, non-partisan, non-sectarian educational organization, founded in 1949. The foundation is located adjacent to the Valley Forge National Historical Park, near Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.
