The School of Medicine in Split (Croatian: Medicinski fakultet u Splitu, Latin: Universitas Studiorum Spalatensis – Facultas Medica) is a medical school in Split, Croatia. It is part of the University of Split. The School of Medicine in Split is affiliated with the University Hospital Split, its major teaching hospital, as well as several other community sites. The school's mission is to link education, research and clinical care. Faculty of the School hold appointments in basic sciences in the Basic Science Building, located in Križine neighbourhood of Split, Croatia. The faculty also hold appointments in clinical departments located in multiple affiliated hospitals and institutions. The current Dean of the School is Professor Ante Tonkić, MD, PhD.

The University of Split Library is a scientific institution and the central library of the University of Split, which acquires and distributes information sources for the needs of all Split studies, providing users with appropriate conditions for learning and study work.After the National and University Libraries in Zagreb, it is the richest library in the Republic of Croatia. Its fund today has around 400,000 books and 12,000 serial publications, and its special collections contain a rich collection of rare and valuable books, geographical maps and atlases, pictorial materials and musicals.

Third Gymnasium (Croatian: III. gimnazija, Treća gimnazija) is a high school in Split, Croatia. It was previously called MIOC (Matematičko informatički obrazovni centar; lit. 'Mathematical Informatical Educational Center'), and is still well known under that name. After the school year 2023/24, 136 graduates of this gymnasium enrolled at an institution of higher learning in Croatia, or 97.14% of students who took up the nationwide Matura exams. The most common destinations for these students were the University of Split faculties of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and shipbuilding, science, and civil engineering, architecture and geodesy, as well as University of Zagreb faculties of electrical engineering and computing, and science.

The Co-Cathedral of St. Peter (also called Split Co-Cathedral; Croatian: Konkatedrala sv. Petar Apostola) is a Catholic church located in Split, in the southern part of Croatia, which serves as the co-cathedral of the Archdiocese of Split-Makarska. The construction of the Co-Cathedral of St. Peter began in December 1979 with the blessing of the first stone, brought from the old Croatian church of St. Peter's in Salona, and completed in 1980. The blessing of the pastoral center was celebrated in 1983. The church was elevated to co-cathedral on 11 May 1987 by a decision of the Holy See. On 27 July the same year, the church was officially dedicated.

The Aqueduct of Diocletian (Croatian: Dioklecijanov akvadukt) is an ancient Roman aqueduct near Split, Croatia (Latin: Spalatum) constructed during the Roman Empire to supply water to the palace of the emperor Diocletian, who was Augustus 284 to 305 AD, retired to Spalatum, and died there in 311.

Gripe Sports Center (Croatian: Športski centar Gripe) is a sports complex located in the Gripe city district of Split, Croatia. It features four indoor halls, and is used to host many sports, as well as concerts. The seating capacity of the small indoor hall is 3,500, and of the biggest one is 6,000.

Vranjic (Italian: Vragnizza) is a village north of Split, near the mouth of Jadro River, administratively located in the Town of Solin. Because of its beauty it was nicknamed "Little Venice". The church of Saint Martin, the pope, is a place of cultural heritage, with sacred folk music performers Crkveni pjevači župe sv. Martina - Vranjic. Vranjic is the birthplace of one of the greatest archaeologists for early Christianity – Don Frane Bulić. Klapa Hurania (Latin name for Vranjic) also comes from the village. There is a small rustic villa there, leading people to believe that Vranjic was a vacation destination for rich Salonitan citizens (Salona – Colonia Martia of Iulius Caesar, the present-day town of Solin). As of 2011 census, Vranjic has a population of 1,110.

The Croatian Maritime Museum (Croatian: Hrvatski pomorski muzej) is a maritime museum in Split, Croatia. The museum is located in a 19th-century building, itself built within the 17th-century Gripe Fortress. The museum was established in 1997 as a successor to the Military-Maritime Museum established by the Yugoslav Navy in 1960 while also inheriting the collection of the Maritime Museum of the Yugoslav Academy of Sciences and Arts which existed between 1956 and 1985.

Dalmatia Tower is a high-rise office building and a hotel in Split, Croatia. It is located on the intersection of the Domovinskog rata Street and the Dubrovačka Street and it is the tallest building in Croatia.

The Jadro is a watercourse in Dalmatia, Croatia, that discharges into the Adriatic Sea. The upper reaches of the Jadro River, as well as its source, Jadro Spring, are protected as an ichthyological nature reserve, partly due to the presence of an endemic species of soft-mouthed trout. The headwaters of the Jadro River were the original water supply for the ancient city comprised by Diocletian's Palace (now an area within the present day city of Split). Contemporary studies indicate favourable water quality levels of the river near the headwaters at Jadro Spring.The Jadro flows through the town of Solin and has a length of approximately four kilometres' moreover, the river provides water to the cities of Split, Kaštela and Trogir as well as of municipalities Podstrana, Klis, Seget and Okrug. Incompliances with the regulations related to water for consumption occasionally appear due to turbidity caused by abundant precipitation.People from Solin also call it Solinska rika (Croatian for "Solin's river"). Salmo obtusirostris salonitana is an endemic trout species living in this river, which is currently endangered by the rainbow trout.

The Museum of Croatian Archaeological Monuments (Croatian: Muzej hrvatskih arheoloških spomenika) located at Meštrovićevo šetalište 18, Split, Croatia, is the only museum in the country dedicated to researching and presenting cultural artifacts of the Croats in the Middle Ages, between the 7th and 15th centuries, particularly the time of the early medieval Croatian state from 9th to 12th century. The museum was founded in Knin in 1893, and was moved first to Sinj, then Klis and finally to Split where today the collection is displayed in a purpose-built museum complex, opened in 1976. The holdings consist mainly of jewellery, weapons and items of daily use, and include many stone artifacts that once belonged to the old Croatian church interiors. The collection of early medieval wicker, clay figurines, and old Croatian Latin epigraphic monuments is the largest collection of its kind in Europe.

The Silver Gate (Croatian: Srebrna vrata, Latin: Porta argentea), or "the Eastern Gate", is one of the four principal Roman gates into the stari grad (old town) of Split that was once Diocletian's Palace. The gate faces east towards the Roman town of Epetia, today Stobreč.
