Queensbury is a town in Warren County, New York, United States. The population was 29,169 at the 2020 census.It contains the county seat of Warren County, located at a municipal center complex on U.S. Route 9 south of the village of Lake George. It was moved to the complex in 1963 from the original county seat of Lake George. The town is located in the southeastern corner of the county and is part of the Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is named in honor of Queen Charlotte. Although primarily located north of the city of Glens Falls, Queensbury surrounds the city on three sides.Six Flags Great Escape and Hurricane Harbor, a Six Flags theme park, is located in northwest Queensbury. West Mountain, a downhill skiing area, is located in the southwestern part of town.

Glen Lake is located north of Glens Falls, New York. Fish species present in the lake are rainbow trout, pickerel, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, walleye, yellow perch, pumpkinseed sunfish, and brown bullhead. There is a carry down on the northwest shore off Glen Lake Road.

WMML (1230 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a classic country format. Licensed to Glens Falls, New York, United States, the station serves the Glens Falls area. Established in 1959 as WSET, the station is owned by Pamal Broadcasting, through licensee 6 Johnson Road Licenses, Inc.

WENU (1410 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a soft oldies format simulcasting WROW out of Albany. Licensed to South Glens Falls, New York, United States, the station serves the Glens Falls area. Established in 1988 as WSTL, the station is owned by Pamal Broadcasting.

WNYQ (101.7 FM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Hudson Falls, New York, and serving the Glens Falls area of the Adirondack Mountains. It is owned by Pamal Broadcasting and airs a rock-leaning classic hits radio format. WNYQ is mostly voice tracked although weekday morning drive is live with DJ John "Killer" Clark formerly an air personality at classic rock stations WPYX and WQBK-FM in nearby Albany. WNYQ has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 4,600 watts. Its transmitter is off Route 149 in Lake George, New York.

The Comet is a wooden roller coaster located at Six Flags Great Escape and Hurricane Harbor in Queensbury, New York, in the United States. Built from parts of the Crystal Beach Cyclone in 1948 at Crystal Beach, The Comet was resurrected and reopened by the Great Escape in 1994. Often rated one of the top roller coasters in the world in the 1990s, The Comet features a 2-minute ride over several hills. The first and largest hill contains a drop of 87 feet (27 m) and brings riders to a maximum speed of 55 mph (89 km/h). For the 2017 season, The Comet celebrated its 70th Anniversary.

Glens Falls Cemetery is a historic cemetery located at Glens Falls, Warren County, New York. It was established in 1853 as a 13-acre cemetery and expanded in 1871, 1888, and five times between 1913 and 1973 to a total of 38 acres.

The Tornado is a water slide manufactured by ProSlide Technology. It requires riders to sit in a 2-6 seater round tube. Riders drop from inside a tunnel at a 45-degree angle out into the ride's main element shaped like a funnel on its side. Riders oscillate from one side to the other until they exit through the back of the funnel and into a splash pool. Many of the slides feature a conveyor belt to bring the rafts to the top. On April 13, 2012 it was announced the first six-person Tornado would be built using Hydromagnetic technology.

Sanford House is a historic home located at Queensbury, Warren County, New York. It was built about 1797 and is a formal, five-by-two-bay 2-story Federal-style house with Georgian-inspired details. It is of post-and-beam construction with wide clapboard sheathing. It features an elaborate center entrance porch with a second-story Palladian window. It is located adjacent to the Asa Stower House.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Asa Stower House is a historic home located at Queensbury, Warren County, New York. It was a 2+1⁄2-story, five-by-two-bay, 2-story, side-gabled residence, with a rear ell wing and slate roof in a Federal style. It was built in four phases: a pre-1806 original frame residence incorporated into the rear ell; the c. 1806 main block; renovations dated to about 1850 that added Greek Revival elements; and the Italianate-style front porches added about 1870. It is located adjacent to the Sanford House.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Alpine Freefalls is a water slide complex manufactured by ProSlide, currently operating since June 2, 2012, at Six Flags Great Escape and Hurricane Harbor in Queensbury, New York. The complex features 2 slides, Twisted Racer (a KrakenRacer) and Cliffhanger (a speed slide).
