Muskegon Lake

SS Milwaukee Clipper, also known as SS Clipper , and formerly as SS Juniata, is a retired passenger ship and automobile ferry that sailed under two configurations and traveled on all of the Great Lakes except Lake Ontario. The vessel is now docked in Muskegon, Michigan.

Muskegon Country Club was founded in 1908 and is a private country club owned by the RedWater Collection The club features a private 18 hole golf course in Muskegon, Michigan located on 130 acres of dunes between Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake. The course was originally laid out by early 20th-century golf course designer Tom Bendelow. The course design was updated in the early 1920s by famous golf course designer Donald Ross.Muskegon Country Club has hosted many golf tournaments over the decades, many of them sanctioned by the Golf Association of Michigan (GAM). Since 1985, five U.S. Open (golf) qualifiers have been played here. Since 2005, two Michigan Amateur Championships were held here. In 2017, the Senior Amateur of Michigan was held here.

Muskegon Catholic Central High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Muskegon, Michigan. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids. Muskegon Catholic Central has won 13 football state championships (1979, 1980, 1982, 1990, 1991, 1995, 2000, 2006, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016).

St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church in Norton Shores, Michigan, USA. With a membership of about 1,300 households, it is the largest parish in the surrounding Muskegon area. The parish's current building, noted for its hyperbolic paraboloid form and brutalist design, was designed by modernist architect Marcel Breuer and his associate Herbert Beckhard in 1964.

The Robert B. Annis Water Resources Institute (AWRI), is located in Muskegon, Michigan at the Lake Michigan Center on Muskegon Lake. The mission of the Institute is to integrate research, education, and outreach to enhance and preserve freshwater resources. AWRI is a multidisciplinary research organization within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Grand Valley State University. USS LST 393 is an LST-1-class tank landing ship built for the United States Navy during World War II. She is one of only two LSTs to survive in original configuration; 1,051 were built. She is now a museum ship in Muskegon, Michigan.

USCGC McLane (WSC-146) is a 125 ft (38 m) United States Coast Guard Active-class patrol boat in commission from 1927 to 1971. She was named for Louis McLane, (1786–1857) who was appointed in 1833 as United States Secretary of State. In May 1966, she was redesignated as (WMEC-146).

The Amazon Hosiery Mill, also known as the Amazon Knitting Mill, is a former industrial building located at 530-550 West Western Avenue in Muskegon, Michigan. It now houses the Amazon Apartments. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
