Samson Mountain

Peekamoose Mountain is a mountain located in Ulster County, New York. The mountain is part of the Catskill Mountains. Peekamoose Mountain is flanked to the north by Table Mountain. The name Peekamoose is possibly an anglicization of an Algonquin word meaning 'broken off smooth', cf. Poke-O-Moonshine Mountain.Peekamoose Mountain stands within the watershed of Rondout Creek, a tributary of the Hudson River, which drains into New York Bay. The east and southeast slopes of Peekamoose Mtn. drain into Rondout Creek. The southwest end of Peekamoose drains into Buttermilk Falls Brook, thence into Rondout Creek. The west side of Peekamoose drains into Bear Hole Brook, thence into Rondout Creek. Peekamoose Mountain is within the Slide Mountain Wilderness of New York's Catskill State Park. The Long Path, a 350-mile (560 km) long-distance hiking trail from New York City to Albany, crosses the summits of Peekamoose and Table.

Pople Hill is a mountain located in the Catskill Mountains of New York east of Sundown. Bangle Hill is located northwest, Mombaccus Mountain is located northeast, and Flat Hill is located southeast of Pople Hill.

Big Rosy Bone Knob is a mountain located in the Catskill Mountains of New York southwest of West Shokan. Little Rocky is located north-northeast, and Steiny Hill is located south of Big Rosy Bone Knob.

The north side of Lone Mtn. drains into the East Branch of the Neversink. Lone Mountain is within the Slide Mountain Wilderness of New York's Catskill State Park.

Rocky Mountain is a mountain located in Ulster County, New York. The mountain is part of the Catskill Mountains. Rocky Mountain is flanked to the west by Lone Mountain, and to the northeast by Balsam Cap. The south and east sides of Rocky Mountain drain into the headwaters of Rondout Creek, thence into the Hudson River, and into New York Bay. The northeast and northwest sides of Rocky Mtn. drain into the East Branch of the Neversink River, the Delaware River, and into Delaware Bay. Rocky Mountain is one of the 35 peaks in the Catskills greater than 3,500 feet elevation, and is a required ascent for membership in the Catskill Mountain 3500 Club. The ascent involves bushwhacking as there is no trail to the summit. Rocky Mountain is within the Slide Mountain Wilderness of New York's Catskill State Park.

Little Rocky is a mountain located in the Catskill Mountains of New York. It is part of a massif that includes Ashokan High Point, Mombaccus Mountain and South Mountain in West Shokan. Hanover Mountain is located north, Breath Hill is located northwest, and Big Rosy Bone Knob is located southwest of Little Rocky.

The northeast and southeast slopes of Balsam Cap drain into Maltby Hollow Brook, thence into Bush Kill, the Ashokan Reservoir, Esopus Creek, the Hudson River, and into New York Bay. The southwest side of Balsam Cap drains into the headwaters of Rondout Creek, thence into the Hudson River. The northwest side of Balsam Cap drains into the East Branch of the Neversink River, the Delaware River, and into Delaware Bay. Balsam Cap is within the Slide Mountain Wilderness of New York's Catskill State Park.

Common School No. 10 is a historic one-room school building located in Accord in Ulster County, New York. It is a 1-story, two-by-three-bay, frame building on a fieldstone foundation built about 1870. It is topped by a gable roof with an open belfry. It operated as a school until 1955. Also on the property is a privy, shed, and well with hand pump.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.Now known as Palentown School House Museum, the school is open twice a year and by appointment.
