Henry House (Suamico, Wisconsin)

Suamico ( SWAH-mih-koh) is a village in Brown County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 12,820 at the time of the 2020 census. Suamico is part of the Green Bay Metropolitan Statistical Area, and contains the neighborhood community of Flintville.

Harbor Lights Lake is a reservoir in Suamico, Wisconsin, Brown County, Wisconsin, United States. Harbor Lights Lake is small and right along the Green Bay. Over 300 people live on the lake. The lake is maintained by the Harbor Lights Lake Association, consisting of about 135 properties. The association is governed by five elected board members who reside in the Harbor Lights Lake Subdivision.

The Suamico River is a river in north east Wisconsin that flows through the village of Suamico and into Green Bay in Lake Michigan. The source is near the community of Anston, in the town of Pittsfield. The river has been dredged by the United States Army Corps of Engineers to aid in recreational activity.

The Brown County Reforestation Camp is an area of almost 1,600 acres (6.5 km2) located in Brown County, Wisconsin. It has many trails and picnic areas, and is often used as a winter recreation area.

The Northeastern Wisconsin Zoo, commonly referred to as the NEW Zoo is a zoo located Suamico, Wisconsin, in the United States. The 43-acre (17 ha) is situated northwest of the Brown County Reforestation Camp, 11 miles (18 km), which together cover 1,560 acres (6.3 km2) and have over a half million visitors each year. The NEW Zoo does not receive local or regional tax support for its annual operating budget.

Howard-Suamico School District is a school district near Green Bay, Wisconsin that operates five elementary schools, one intermediate school, one middle school, and one high school. It serves the villages of Howard and Suamico. With over 5,236 students served in eight schools, the school district is the 29th largest in Wisconsin, out of 426 districts. Bay Port High School is a public high school in the Howard-Suamico School District in Wisconsin. Its enrollment for the 2021–2022 school year was approximately 1,900. The school colors are navy blue, Columbia blue and white. Bay Port's mascot is a pirate, with an eye patch over one eye, and a sword clenched in his teeth. He also wears a pirate hat with a skull and crossbones.

Howard is a village in Brown and Outagamie counties in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 19,950 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Green Bay Metropolitan Statistical Area. The village is mostly within Brown County; a small portion extends west into Outagamie County. It is bordered to the east by Green Bay, a sub-basin of Lake Michigan. Prior to being incorporated as the Village of Howard, the Town of Howard was commonly referred to as "Duck Creek" because of the Duck Creek waterway winding its way through the village.

Duck Creek is a stream in Brown and Outagamie counties, Wisconsin, in the United States.Duck Creek was named for the many ducks seen along its banks by trappers. In the Menominee language, it is known as Sēqsepaketaheqkoneh, an archaic name meaning "duck landing place".

The station is owned and operated by Cumulus Media. WQLH's studios are located on Victoria Street in Green Bay, while its transmitter is located near Suamico.
