Nibong Tebal

The Nibong Tebal railway station is a Malaysian railway station located at and named after the town of Nibong Tebal, Pulau Pinang. The old railway station in Nibong Tebal was demolished on 26 January 2010 for undergoing renovations due to electrification and double tracking of the KTM rail line, which the old 10m iron railway bridge across the Krian River was also demolished and replaced with a new bridge.

Sungai Jawi (commonly known as Jawi) is a suburb of Seberang Perai in the Malaysian state of Penang. It also serves the seat of the Southern Seberang Perai District.

Parit Buntar Clock Tower is situated in the town of Parit Buntar, Kerian District, Perak, Malaysia. The clock tower was unveiled by Prime Minister, Tengku Abdul Rahman on 24 August 1961. It was donated by Lim Chong Chee, a Kuala Lumpur businessman, who was born in the town, and cost $20,000. The clock tower has a four-faced clock, is 39 feet high, and is surmounted by a golden, onion dome.

Parit Buntar (Northern Malay: Paghit Buntaq) is a town in Kerian District, Perak, Malaysia. It is bordering to Nibong Tebal in Penang and Bandar Baharu in Kedah.It is also the district capital of Kerian District. This district is known as the Rice Bowl of Perak due to its large areas of paddy fields. Irrigation system has been built to reclaim the areas and to control the water flow into and out of the paddy fields. A few areas suffer from flooding in some seasons. The economic activity is fishing especially at Sungai Acheh, Bagan Tiang, Tanjung Piandang and Kuala Kurau, and commercial businesses and industrial in the Parit Buntar City Center. This city has a tropical climate. There is a great deal of rainfall in Parit Buntar, even in the driest month. This location is classified as Af by Köppen and Geiger. The temperature averages 27.3 °C (81.1 °F). The average annual rainfall is 2,304 mm (90.7 in).

The Kerian River (Malay: Sungai Kerian), alternately Krian, is a river in the northern part of the Malaysian state of Perak. The river originates from the Bintang Range. It flows westerly and discharges into the Strait of Malacca. The main tributaries are the Selama River, Ijok River, Samagagah River and Ulu Mengkuang River.

The South Seberang Perai District (Malay: Daerah Seberang Perai Selatan; abbreviated "SPS") is a district in Penang, Malaysia. It covers an area of 242 square kilometres, and had a population of 184,007 at the 2020 Census. The district is bordered by Junjong River that separates Central Seberang Perai in the north, Kedah state border in the east, Perak state border in the south and the South Channel that separates Penang Island. Rivers that flow through South Seberang Perai are Junjong River, Jawi River and Kerian River. The capital of this district is Sungai Jawi and the largest town is Nibong Tebal. Other towns such as Batu Kawan, Bukit Tambun, Simpang Ampat, Sungai Bakap and Valdor are also located in this district. South Seberang Perai is thriving with the fishing industry and agriculture. Oil palm plantations covers most parts of the area.

Batu Kawan is an island and suburb of Seberang Perai in the Malaysian state of Penang. It is geographically separated from the rest of Seberang Perai by the Jawi and Tengah rivers. As of 2010, Batu Kawan contained a population of 5,537.Long considered a quiet agricultural backwater, Batu Kawan is undergoing rapid development, which was sparked by the completion of the Second Penang Bridge that connects the town with Batu Maung on Penang Island in 2014. A host of multinational firms, including Boston Scientific, Western Digital Corporation, Bose Corporation, Dexcom and Bosch, have set up manufacturing plants within the Batu Kawan Industrial Park. In addition, Batu Kawan is home to Design Village, Malaysia's largest outlet mall. Among the ongoing developments within Batu Kawan are an IKEA store, Aspen Vision City and Utropolis, the latter of which is expected to serve as a hub for tertiary education.

Val d'Or is a residential neighbourhood within the city of Seberang Perai in the Malaysian state of Penang. The mainly agricultural area is located between Simpang Ampat to the north and Sungai Bakap to the south, both of which are also within the South Seberang Perai District. Jalan Valdor serves as the main thoroughfare within the town, with the southern end of the road connecting with Federal Route 1, which runs the length of western Peninsular Malaysia.

Design Village is an outlet mall in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia. Opened in 2016, it is Malaysia's biggest outlet mall, spanning a built-up area of 37,161 m2 (400,000 sq ft). Design Village is reportedly built on a 24-acre tropical garden. At the time of its opening in November 2016, the mall was nearly 70% filled with tenants. Among the tenants are Gap, Timberland, Pierre Cardin, Padini, Adidas, Body Glove, Levi's, Guess, Samsonite, Esprit and Cotton On. There are eateries within the mall such as Coffee Bean, Starbucks, Baskin-Robbins and Wendy's. A handful of health care stores also complement the wide range of international brands, including Watsons and 7-Eleven.

State of Penang Stadium (Malay: Stadium Negeri Pulau Pinang) is a multi-purpose stadium in Batu Kawan, South Seberang Perai, Penang, Malaysia. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 40,000 people. It was built in 2000. The stadium has been built to host the 8th Sukma Games (Malaysian Games) in 2000. In 2007, this stadium hosted the Malaysian FA Cup Final. The match was won by Kedah Darul Aman 4–2 in penalties shoot-out.
