Amrita Hospital, formerly known as Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) is a multi-speciality tertiary care hospital based in Kochi, India. It is attached to Amrita University school of medicine and one of the largest medical facilities in India with a total built-up area of over 3.33 million sq.ft, spread over 125 acres of land. It is a 1,350-bed hospital which supports an annual patient volume of about 800,000 outpatients and 50,000 inpatients. It was founded by Mata Amritanandamayi and inaugurated on 17 May 1998 by the then Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The Mata Amritanandamayi Math is its parent organisation. The campus also houses medical school, dentistry, nursing, health sciences, pharmacy schools and school of nanosciences and molecular medicine of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Ron Gottsegen is the executive director and Prem Nair is the medical director of the institution. Dr.Gireesh Kumar K.P. is the Principal/Dean of Amrita School of Medicine. The hospital has got accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) for its laboratories and the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) for the hospital overall. In 2022, Amrita School of Medicine was ranked the eighth best medical college in India by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in their annual NIRF rankings.

It was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on 17 June and opened for public on 19 June 2017 as a part of the first stretch of the metro system, between Aluva and Palarivattom.

Edappally Junction is an intersection at Edappally, Kochi in the state of Kerala, India. Four major highways intersect at the junction. Indian National Highway 47, National Highway 66, National Highway 47A and Kochi Bypass intersect here. It is one of the busiest junctions in Kerala.

St. George's Syro-Malabar Forane Church, locally known as Edapally Church (Malayalam: മാർ ഗീവർഗ്ഗീസ് സഹദാ പള്ളി, ഇടപ്പള്ളി) is a Catholic pilgrimage church in Edapally, Kochi, India. It is considered as Asia's largest shrine dedicated to Saint George, about five million people visit it every year.The church is thought to have been founded in 593 AD. It is regarded as one of the oldest churches in Kerala, after the seven churches founded by Thomas the Apostle in the first century AD. The church was originally dedicated to the Marth Mariam (Virgin Mary). In 1080, a new church was built adjacent to the old church. A nine-day festival is celebrated annually as part of the Feast of Saint George (23 April). The church, also a destination for non-Christians, attracts offerings of gold, chicken, and eggs.

Kerala Museum (also known as the Museum of Kerala History) at Edapally, Kochi, India, is one of the oldest art and history museums in Kochi. It is managed by the Madhavan Nayar Foundation, a registered Public Charitable Trust, established in 1984, founded by philanthropist and entrepreneur R. Madhavan Nayar (1914–1996). The museum was opened to visitors in 1987.Kerala Museum has three galleries: the Museum of Kerala History, the Dolls Museum and the Gallery of Modern Art.

Changampuzha Park is a recreational park and a venue for various cultural activities in the city of Kochi, Kerala, India. Established in 1977, the park is situated at Edapally, the birthplace of the great poet Changampuzha Krishna Pillai, on the side of the National Highway leading to Aluva. The park is popular among children, elderly persons and others. It serves as a venue for several art and cultural programmes of importance. The park is maintained by Greater Cochin Development Authority, and houses the Changampuzha Samskarika Kendram (Changampuzha Cultural Society). The park serves as a live monument to the evergreen romantic Malayalam poet, Changampuzha Krishna Pillai and houses a statue of the great poet.

The Residential area lies between Kalamassery municipal town hall and Pathadippalam near the National Highway 544 and is the major residential area in Kalamassery and Ernakulam. Changampuzha Nagar was developed by Kerala State Housing Board in 1975 and named after the great poet Changampuzha Krishna Pillai.
