The Bisagno (in Ligurian Besagno /beˈzaɲu/) is a 25-kilometre (16 mi) river in Liguria, (Italy).

The Genoa AON Open Challenger - Memorial Giorgio Messina is an annual tennis tournament held in Genoa, Italy, usually in September, since 2003. The event is part of the ATP challenger series and is played on outdoor clay courts. The tournament has been organized annually since 2003, with the sole exceptions of 2020 and 2021, when it was canceled because of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. The 2022 edition is the 18th tournament of the series.

The Conservatorio Niccolò Paganini (English: Conservatory of Music Niccolò Paganini), better known in English as the Genoa Conservatory, is a music conservatory in Genoa, Italy. The school was founded in 1829 as the Scuola Gratuita di Canto, and was originally intended as a private institution to train singers performing at the Teatro Carlo Felice. When instrumental music instruction was added in 1830 the school's name was changed to the Istituto di Musica - Scuola gratuita di Canto e Strumentale. After evolving into a public music conservatory operated by the Government of Genoa in 1849, the school was renamed the Civico Istituto Musicale. In 1904 its name was changed again in honor of the composer Niccolò Paganini. Since 1933 the institution has operated as a national conservatory managed by the Ministry of Public Education of the Government of Italy. The Genoa Conservatory has been housed in several different locations during its history; often in buildings formerly used as religious spaces. Originally located in a building near the Chiesa di Nostra Signora delle Grazie in the Molo neighborhood of Genoa, the conservatory moved into the facilities of the former monastery attached to that church in 1834. It remained at that location until 1866 when the conservatory relocated to the premises of the San Filippo Neri, Genoa; inhabiting the former church until it was reclaimed by the Holy See in 1928. The conservatory was then located at another former church, the Sant'Agostino, Genoa, from 1928 to 1936. The school relocated to the Villa Raggio in the Albaro neighborhood until it was forced to evacuate temporarily to the Villa Saluzzo Serra art museum in the Genoese neighborhood of Nervi during World War II for safety reasons. It returned to the Villa Raggio during the war only to be forced to cohabitate with military forces when the Villa Raggio was requisitioned by the Wehrmacht of Nazi Germany and later by the military forces of the Allied Powers. After the war the conservatory continued to operate in the Villa Raggio, but left there to reside temporarily in the Palazzo Gerolamo Grimaldi during the 1960s. Since 1970 the conservatory has been located at the Villa Sauli Bombrini Doria in Albaro, Genoa.

Palasport di Genova is an indoor arena in Genoa, Italy. The arena holds 15,000 spectators. It is primarily used for indoor athletics, motocross events and concerts. It is located within the area that hosts the Genoa Fair, of which it represents the S Pavilion.

The Museo Civico di Storia Naturale Giacomo Doria is a natural history museum in Genoa, northern Italy. It is named after the naturalist Giacomo Doria, who was the founder and the curator for over forty years. The museum was founded in 1867 and contains over four million specimens from all over the world. It contains zoological, botanical and geological collections. Important collections include those of Luigi D'Albertis, Leonardo Fea, Arturo Issel, Orazio Antinori, Odoardo Beccari and Lamberto Loria. Since 1922 it is the headquarters of the Società entomologica italiana (Italian Entomological Society).

Corso Italia is the main promenade of Genoa, Italy. It's one of the main roads of the neighbourhood of Albaro, east of the city centre. About 2.5 kilometres long, the promenade connects the quartieri (neighbourhoods) of Foce and Boccadasse.

The Genoa International Boat Show (Italian: Salone Nautico di Genova) is one of the world's premier boat shows, held annually in Genoa (Italy, EU). The exhibition is organised by Confindustria Nautica, the Italian Marine Industry Association.

Genova Brignole railway station is the second largest station of Genoa, northern Italy; it is located on Piazza Verdi in the town center at the foot of the Montesano hill (the main long-distance station is Genova Piazza Principe station). Brignole is used by about 60,000 passengers a day and 22,000,000 per year.

The church of the Madonna della Consolazione e San Vicenzo Martire (Virgin of the Consolation and St. Vincent Martyr), also called Chiesa di Nostra Signora della Consolazione (once of St Rita) is a church in Genoa, Italy. A church of ‘’Our Lady of the Consolation’’ under the care of Augustinian Fathers was known near this site since the 15th century. At the time, it stood in the perilous neighborhoods outside the city walls. Construction of new defensive walls after the bombardment in 1684, forced the Augustinian monks to relocate, and they were authorized to build at the present site. Construction ran from 1684 till 1706. The dome was added in 1769 based on designs by Simone Cantoni. The adjacent monastery, never completed, became in the 19th century the site of a marketplace called the Mercato Orientale. In 1810, under Napoleonic rule, the Augustinians were dispossessed of the church, and by 1813, it became a parish church. The interior frescoes date to after 1875. Inside the first altar to the right has a canvas depicting St Thomas of Villanova distributing his wealth to the poor by Domenico Fiasella. The virgin statue on the façade was moved here from the prior church. The organ was built by Giacomo Locatelli in 1880 and restored in 1975.

Santo Stefano is a church in Genoa, northern Italy. Located on a hill overlooking the central Via XX Settembre, it is one of the most outstanding examples of Romanesque architecture in the city. The church had been closed for much of the 20th century, until the restoration of the year 1946-1955, when it was reconsecrated.

Santa Maria Assunta is a Renaissance church in Genoa, Italy. It is located in a residential sector called Carignano located on the hills just above the city center, thus the church is also known as Santa Maria Assunta di Carignano.

The Biblioteca Civica Berio (est. 1775) of Genoa, Italy, is a public library founded by Carlo Giuseppe Vespasiano Berio. Around 1998 it moved into the former Seminario arcivescovile di Genova in the Carignano quartiere. Among its collections is the library of Demetrio Canevari.
