Dickinson Hill Fire Tower is a historic fire observation station located at Grafton, Rensselaer County, New York. The 60-foot-tall (18 m), steel frame lookout tower is a prefabricated structure built by the Aermotor Corporation in 1924. Also on the property are the contributing concrete water tank and foundation of the observer's cabin. It has not been staffed since 1972, and is the last remaining fire tower in Rensselaer County.: 3, 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

It is believed that the town received its name from Grafton, Vermont, where the first town supervisor, Nathaniel Dumbleton, was originally from. The town is an interior town near the north-central part of the county. NY Route 2 passes across the town. Grafton is notable for having a Peace Pagoda, built by Nipponzan Myohoji buddhist order in 1993.

Cornell–Manchester Farmstead is a historic home and farm located near Hoosick Falls, Rensselaer County, New York. The main house was built between about 1820 and 1840, and consists of a 1 1/2-story, gable roofed frame main block with an adjoining 1 1/2-story, gable roofed block added about 1850. It was remodeled about 1900 and three open Queen Anne style porches were added. Another 1 1/2-story frame house was added to the property about 1860. Also on the property are the contributing tool barn / grain house (c. 1800-1830), pig house (c. 1880-1900), blacksmith's shop (c. 1850-1870), smokehouse (c. 1820-1850), grain house (c. 1880-1900), corn cribs (1957, 1960s), two hay sheds (c. 1940-1950), shed (c. 1940-1950), garage and vehicle shed (c. 1940-1950), hen house (c. 1940–1941, 1962), small pig house (c. 1940), three hen houses (c. 1940), and barn (c. 1900).: 3–5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Grafton Lakes State Park is a 2,545-acre (10.30 km2) state park located in Rensselaer County, New York, United States. The park is in the central part of the Town of Grafton and north of the hamlet of Grafton on NY Route 2, northeast of Albany. The park contains the Shaver Pond Nature Center.

Hoosac School is a private co-educational Episcopal boarding school located in Hoosick, New York, United States.

Tibbits House, also known as Tibbits Hall, is a historic home located at Hoosick in Rensselaer County, New York. The house was built about 1860 and 1+1⁄2-story, rectangular Gothic Revival–style building. It is constructed of cut ashlar sandstone blocks and has steeply pitched gable roofs covered with fishscale slate. It features projecting porches, bay windows, changes of rooflines, dormers, chimneys, and two towers. The existing house on the property was originally owned by U.S. Congressman George Tibbits (1763–1849); his son George Mortimer Tibbits (1796–1878) built the Tibbits House. At the time the property was bought by the Tibbits it was the location of a wooden house built before the Revolution by a Loyalist named Pfister. The Tibbits estate was a stop on the Underground Railroad. The building was acquired by Hoosac School in 1952 and is used as a dormitory, classrooms, and for administrative offices.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Brownell–Cornell–Gibbs Farmstead is a historic home and farm located near Buskirk, Rensselaer County, New York. The farmhouse was built between about 1800 and 1825, and consists of a two-story, banked, rectangular frame main block with an attached large two-story woodshed. It has a one-story, hip roofed addition dated to 1943, and Federal style design elements. Also on the property are the contributing threshing barn (c. 1800), tool barn / grain house (c. 1830), hen house (1936), garage (1926), and wagon shed (c. 1940).: 3–6 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Petersburgh United Methodist Church is a historic Methodist church at 12 Head of Lane Road in Petersburgh, Rensselaer County, New York. It was originally built in 1820 and modified to its present Queen Anne style appearance in 1892. The original meeting house style building measures 48 feet long and 36 feet wide. In 1892, the 45 feet tall bell tower was added and a more steeply pitched roof was added over the original roof. An annex was completed in 1938.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
