Villa Madre Cabrini

The Church of Saint Anne (Italian: Chiesa di Sant'Anna), with the adjacent convent and pharmacy of the Discalced Carmelites, is a Roman Catholic church located in the residential quarter of Castelletto in Genoa, Liguria, north-western Italy. The village - now surrounded by the city - is still intact, with its leafy trees, cobbled walkways and open views from Salita Bachernia over the Gulf of Genoa, the harbor and the Old City.

The abbatial church of Santa Maria della Sanità is located in Salita di Santa Maria della Sanità, in the Castelletto quarter of Genoa. Originally, it was the private chapel of villa De Mari (now villa Grüber). It was built in the 17th century by the Genoese nobleman Stefano De Mari, who bestowed it to the Descalced Carmelites of the nearby Church of Sant'Anna. It has a rare octagonal layout, a wide cupola and seven lateral chapels, which make it a jewel of the religious architecture of Genoa.

Villa Gruber De Mari was built by the noble Genoese family De Mari in the second half of the 16th century in the suburban area between the Sant'Anna and San Rocchino walkways linking the center of the city to the New Walls, in the Castelletto neighborhood of Genoa, Italy. The villa includes a 16th-century guard tower and the 17th-century former private chapel, now the Abbatial Church of Santa Maria della Sanità. The villa is located in a panoramic position within a large park, which has been opened to the public after the villa was acquired by the Municipality of Genoa in the 20th century.

The Sant'Anna funicular (Italian: Funicolare Sant'Anna) is a funicular railway in the Italian city of Genoa connecting the Piazza Portello, on the edge of the historic city centre, to the Corso Magenta. The line is one of several true funiculars in the city, including the Zecca–Righi funicular and the Quezzi funicular, although the Principe–Granarolo rack railway is also sometimes erroneously described as a funicular.

The Magenta–Crocco elevator is a public elevator in the Castelletto quarter of Genoa, in Northwestern Italy. It constitutes the continuation of the Sant'Anna funicular, linking Corso Magenta with via Antonio Crocco.The elevator can be reached from Corso Magenta through a pedestrian tunnel, from which it also possible to reach a small private elevator connecting the tunnel to the Old Pharmacy of the Sant'Anna Convent. The elevator can also be reached from a second entrance located in via Acquarone.It entered service in 1933. In 1966, it came under the responsibility of AMT Genova. In 2007, it underwent a complete maintenance review and the substitution of the old cars with modern ones.

Castelletto is a residential quarter of Genoa, north-western Italy. It occupies a hilly area which, until the construction of the New Walls in the 17th century, was located outside of the city. The quarter is now part of the city's Municipio I Centro Est and comprises three urban units (Castelletto, Manin and San Nicola) which, as of 31 December 2010, had a total population of 28,857 combined. The name, meaning "small castle" in Italian, comes from a fort overlooking the center of Genoa, recorded as early as the 10th century AD and dismantled in the late 19th century to make way to residential buildings and the panoramic belvedere in the so-called Spianata di Castelletto.

The Edoardo Chiossone Museum of Oriental Art in Genoa is an important collection of Asian art, one of the most significant collections in Europe and in Italy, along with the museums of Venice and Rome. The museum hosts the huge collection (over 15,000 pieces) of Edoardo Chiossone, who spent 23 years (1875-1898) in Japan.The exhibition shows many objects and artworks from Japan and China, like sculptures, porcelain pieces, bronze vessels, prints, masks, Samurai armors and helmets. It is situated inside Villetta Di Negro, a public park in the centre of Genoa, next to Piazza Corvetto and overlooking the historical centre and Via Garibaldi. The building is now the headquarters of the Banco di Chiavari e della Riviera Ligure.
