Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) (Persian: دانشگاه علم و صنعت ایران, Daneshgah-e 'elm vâ Sân'at-e Iran) is a research institution and university of engineering and science in Iran. The university is home to 15 faculties offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in a wide range of engineering-based subjects as well as maths, physics, and department of foreign languages. In 1995 IUST awarded Iran’s first PhDs in materials, metallurgical and traffic engineering. IUST is the only university in the Middle East which has a school of railway engineering and a school of progress engineering. It is also the only university in Iran which has a school of automotive engineering. There are also 12 research centres, nine centres of excellence and 19 specialised libraries as well as four satellite campuses in other parts of the country. IUST is located on Hengam Street in the Narmak neighborhood in northeast Tehran. IUST and its surrounding communities provide a cultural and recreational environment suited to the work of a major research institution. The 20,000 capacity IUST Stadium, which is used mostly for association football, is their main sports venue. Mansour Anbia is the dean.

Tehranpars or Tehran Pars (تهران‌پارس) is an absorbed city inside the Greater Tehran Area, located in the north east area of the city. It is considered a neighbourhood of Tehran City and lies in Tehran's eastern flank inside the area of the 4th and 8th municipalities of Tehran. In 1977, squatted areas in Tehranpars were evicted on the order of the state.

It is located in the junction of Resalat Expressway and Dordasht Street. It is near Iran University of Science and Technology. It is between Shahid Bagheri Metro Station and Sarsabz Metro Station. This station has seven escalators and three elevators.

Lavizan (Persian:لَویزان, also romanized as Lavizān) is a forest park located in Shemiranat County in Tehran Province, Iran (North East Tehran). Lavizan Forest Park is a recreation area used by people from Lavizan and Tehran. Its area is about 1100 hectares.

Ruin Tan Aresh Hospital is a General Women's Hospital located in Tehranpars, an eastern suburb of Tehran in Iran. The hospital was founded in 1971 as Aresh Polyclinic at 126 Rashid Avenue, Tehran Pars, by Arbab Hormoz Aresh for his son (Rohinton Aresh), and bequeathed by him to the Red Crescent. The Ministry of Health took it over at the start of the Islamic Revolution, in 1978. In 1985, Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) took it over as an educational, research and treatment center for gynecology and obstetrics, with 128 active beds. As it was the only public hospital in an area of growing population, physical space became a limitation. The Foundation of the Deprived and War Veterans agreed with TUMS in 1991 on an extension. The new building and facilities with 120 beds opened in 2003 at Eastern 196th Street, 3rd Square, Tehran Pars. The hospital also now has a research center and educational office to support research projects. The Chairman of the hospital is Dr. Ashraf Moiini, MD, Gynecology, Obstetric and Infertility specialist. Its Director is Mohammad Reza Shahbazi Moghaddam, Msc.

Lavizān (Persian: لویزان) is a north-eastern neighborhood of Tehran, the capital of Iran. Lavizān area consists of a residential area and forested recreation area called Lavizān Forest Park. The neighborhoods surrounding Lavizan are Majidabad, Qanat-kosar, Qasemabad, Deh-e Narmak, Shian, Kuye Nobonyad, Ozgol and Qal'eue Sardar.

Tehranpars Metro Station is the eastern end of Tehran Metro Line 2, in Iran. It is located in the junction of Resalat Expressway and Hojar-ibn Ady. It is between Farhangsara Metro Station and Shahid Bagheri Metro Station. This station has six escalators and two elevators.

The Vali-e-Asr Mosque or Valiasr Mosque (Persian: مسجد وليعصر (عج)) is located in Tehran, Iran. It takes its name, a reference to the Mahdi in Shi'ite tradition, from the nearby Valiasr Street. The mosque was designed by the founders of the Iranian architectural and urban design firm Fluid Motion Architects, Reza Daneshmir and Catherine Spiridonoff. It spans 3855 square meters and contains eight floors, four of which lie underground. In addition to serving as a place of prayer, the mosque also functions as a cultural center, containing a library and several classrooms. The mosque became a source of controversy in Iran due to its lack of domes and minarets. Consequently, its official religious operations were halted by the Iranian government in 2018.

Sarsabz Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 2. It is located near Resalat Square. It is between Elm-o-Sanat University Metro Station and Janbazan Metro Station.

Dardasht (Persian: دردشت) is an eastern neighbourhood of Tehran, Iran. Dardasht is situated near the large Tehranpars quarter. It is also the name of the Tehran Metro station which is the starting point of Tehran Metro's line 2. Farhangsara Metro Station is the eastern end of Tehran Metro Line 2, in Iran. It was opened in 2010, with Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf attending the inauguration. It is located in Jashnvareh Street in Tehranpars neighborhood. The next station is Tehran Pars Metro Station.
