British Office Taipei (traditional Chinese: 英國在台辦事處; simplified Chinese: 英国在台办事处; pinyin: Yīngguó Zài Tái Bànshì Chù; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Eng-kok chāi Tâi Pān-sū-chhù), formerly British Trade and Cultural Office (BTCO), is the representative office of the United Kingdom Government in Taiwan with a principal role to promote the British trade and investment interests. It functions as a de facto embassy in the absence of diplomatic relations between London and Taipei. Its Taiwanese counterpart in London is the Taipei Representative Office in the U.K.

The Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office (HKETCO; Chinese: 香港經濟貿易文化辦事處) is the representative office of Hong Kong in the Republic of China. Its counterpart body in Hong Kong is the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hong Kong. The office is located at the President International Tower (統一國際大樓) in Xinyi District, Taipei.

W Taipei is a five-star hotel in Taipei, Taiwan, owned by Taiwanese retail conglomerate Uni-president. It occupies the 8th to 31st floors of the Taipei City Hall Bus Station offering a total of 405 guest rooms. It started trial operations in February 2011, and official operations in March 2011.

The Taipei City Hall Bus Station or W Taipei (Chinese: 市府轉運站; pinyin: Shì fǔ Zhuǎn Yùn Zhàn) is a mixed-used skyscraper complex located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. The architectural height of the building is 150 m (490 ft) and it comprises 30 floors above ground.The lower floors of the building serves as a transportation hub for bus and metro, with the metro's Taipei City Hall Station incorporated into the basement. The 8th to 31st floors of the building house the W Taipei, a five-star hotel operated by W Hotels. It offers a total of 405 guest rooms. It started trial operations in February 2011, and official operations in March 2011.

The Farglory Financial Center (Chinese: 遠雄金融中心) is a skyscraper located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is the eighth tallest building in Taiwan and the fourth tallest in Xinyi Special District(after Taipei 101, Taipei Nan Shan Plaza and Cathay Landmark). The height of building is 208 m, the floor area is 61,147.58m2, and it comprises 32 floors above ground, as well as 4 basement levels.

The Walsin Lihwa Building, or Citibank Tower (Chinese: 華新麗華大樓; pinyin: Huá xīn lìhuá dàlóu), is a skyscraper office building located in Xinyi Special District, Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. Construction of the building began in 2006 and it was completed in 2009. The height of the building is 134 m (440 ft), the floor area is 77,824.15 m2 (837,692.2 sq ft), and it comprises 27 floors above ground, as well as five basement levels. The building was designed by LCRA Architects and it houses the headquarters of Citibank (Taiwan), as well as the New Zealand Commerce and Industry Office and the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei.

The Farglory International Center (Chinese: 遠雄國際商務中心) is a 26-story, 105 metres (344 ft) skyscraper office building completed in 1989 in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. The building is similar in design to 50 Fremont Center in San Francisco, USA and housed the corporate headquarters of Farglory Group before the completion of Farglory Financial Center in 2012.

The Cathay Landmark (Chinese: 國泰置地廣場; pinyin: Guótài Zhìdì Guǎngchǎng) is a skyscraper located in Xinyi Special District, Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is the eighth tallest building in Taiwan and the fourth tallest in Xinyi Special District. The height of the building is 212 m, the floor area is 152,488.6m2, and it comprises 46 floors above ground as well as 6 basement levels. The building was designed by Kris Yao. The shopping mall Breeze Xinyi occupies floors B2F through 4F and is operated by the Breeze Group.

Breeze Song Gao (Chinese: 微風松高) is a shopping mall in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan that opened on 24 October 2014. Located within walking distance of Taipei City Hall metro station, Breeze Song Gao has a total floor area of 12,540 m2 (135,000 sq ft), with business floors ranging from four floors above ground to two floors below ground. Its target customer group is young people aged 16 to 30. There are 126 stores in the mall, with the first H&M store introduced in Taiwan. In 2019, the first Kura Sushi store in Xinyi District was introduced.
