Erastus Bolles House

The Newington Gilbert House is a historic house in Afton, Minnesota, United States. It was built in 1864 in what was then the separate community of Valley Creek. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 for its local significance in the themes of architecture and exploration/settlement. As one of the original houses in Valley Creek, it was nominated for helping to depict one of the many small Washington County settlements that formed around a commercial venture—though one that never progressed to formal platting—and the community's two-decade preference for Greek Revival architecture. Valley Creek was later formally incorporated into Afton.

While farming the surrounding property Jackson kept a wide-ranging diary that remains a valuable primary source on early Minnesota settlement. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 for its local significance in the themes of agriculture and exploration/settlement. It was nominated for its association with Jackson, whose "acute perceptions and wide range of observations place him above the ordinary farm diarist", in the words of Rodney C. Loehr, who edited Jackson's diaries for publication in 1939.

The Lewis-Williams House is a historic house located in Hudson, Wisconsin. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.It is a one-and-a-half-story "romantic" Gothic Revival cottage overlooking the St. Croix River. It has multiple steep gables "ornamented with finials and heavy elaborate wooden bargeboard with pendants." It was bought by Dr. Boyd T. Williams in 1930 and used as a cancer treatment facility. Williams died in 1948; the house remains as a "historic representative of the locality's development of health services and the last surviving symbol of Dr. Boyd T. Williams' medical contributions."
