Fatih Mimar Sinan Stadium

Fatih Vatan Spor Kulübü is a women's football team based in Fatih, Istanbul. The team completed the 2016–17 season of Turkish Women's Second Football League as champion, and were promoted to the Turkish Women's First Football League.

Sulukule (literally: "Water tower") is a historic quarter in the Fatih district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is within the area of Istanbul’s historic peninsula, adjacent to the western part of the city walls. The area has historically been occupied by Romani communities. Roma presence in this part of Istanbul dates back to Byzantine times, while it is in the 15th century, upon Ottoman conquest, that the quarter became (reportedly) the first district in the world permanently settled by sedentary Romani people in Turkey.Sulukule was notable for its entertainment houses, where the Romani performed music and dance to the visitors from in and outside Istanbul. The closure of these entertainment houses in 1992 precipitated serious socio-economic decline in the area.

Topkapı—Ulubatlı is an underground station on the M1 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located in eastern Fatih between the neighborhoods of Karagümrük and Topkapı in Istanbul. An out-of-system transfer to Vatan station on the T4 light-rail line is available as well as connections to İETT city buses. Topkapı—Ulubatlı was opened on 3 September 1989 as part of the first rapid transit line in Istanbul as well as Turkey and is one of the six original stations of the M1 line. The station is right next to the Byzantine-era Theodosian Walls of Constantinople. The station gets part of its name from the 15th century soldier, Ulubatlı Hasan who was one of the first Ottoman soldiers to scale the walls during the Fall of Constantinople.

The Kara Ahmed Pasha Mosque or Gazi Ahmed Pasha Mosque (Turkish: Kara Ahmet Paşa Camii) is a 16th-century Ottoman mosque near the city walls in Istanbul, Turkey. It was designed by the imperial architect Mimar Sinan and completed in around 1572.

Bezmialem Vakıf University, originating from the roots of Gureba-i Müslimin, the first modern hospital of the Ottoman Empire that was founded in 1845 by Bezmiâlem Mother Sultana, was transformed into a university in 2010. Bezmialem is one of the first thematic research universities in Health and Life Sciences in Turkey and also a non-profit foundation university which aims to make progress in education, research and health care. Bezmialem Vakif University has four main campuses; a Phytotherapy Center, Complementary Medicine Research Center and two institutes located at the very centre of Istanbul's two continents. Bezmialem Vakif University cooperates with reputable universities in the field and provides training and education on an international level. The university has more than 100 collaborations from all over the world, including Johns Hopkins University, USA, which is among the leading universities in the field of health and education. Collaboration with Johns Hopkins University is mainly to improve the curriculum of the Faculty of Medicine with the inclusion of scholarly concentration modules and training of Bezmialem's students in their last year as clerkships in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. A number of its programs have already been accredited nationally or internationally. For the last three years, the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Health Sciences and Vocational School of Health Care Services have been ranked among the top universities in Turkey based on YÖK’s (The Council of Higher Education) placement (YKS) results. Bezmialem Vakıf University acts as a science university that serves the reverse brain drain with the Institutes of Health Sciences, Gastroenterology, Biotechnology and Life Sciences. Through their graduate programs, the institutes provide important contributions to the training of academicians and to developing international projects.

Vefa Stadı (English: Vefa Stadium) (also named Karagümrük Stadı/Arena) is a football stadium located in Fatih, Istanbul that is the home ground of Fatih Karagümrük.Vefa Stadı is occasionally in use for the promotional play-off encounters in lower tier leagues, other sports including American Football and for public holiday ceremonies.

The Cistern of Aetius (Greek: ἡ Κινστέρνη τοῦ Ἄετίου) was an important Byzantine water reservoir in the city of Constantinople. Once one of the largest Byzantine cisterns, it is now a football stadium in Istanbul. Since 1928 it has been known as Karagümrük stadyumu, 'Karagümrük stadium' or Vefa stadyumu, 'Vefa stadium', while in the Ottoman period it was known as the Turkish: Çukurbostan, lit. 'sunken garden'.

Topkapı (meaning "Cannon Gate" in Turkish) is a neighbourhood in Istanbul, Turkey. Topkapı is a part of the district of Fatih.

Kasım Ağa Mosque (Turkish: Kasım Ağa Mescidi; also Kâsım Bey Mescidi, where mescit is the Turkish word for a small mosque) is a former Byzantine building converted into a mosque by the Ottomans in Istanbul, Turkey. Neither surveying during the last restoration nor medieval sources have made it possible to find a satisfactory answer as to its origin and possible dedication. It is probable that the small building was part of the Byzantine complex and monastery whose main church was the building known in Ottoman era as the Odalar Mosque, whose dedication is also uncertain. The edifice is a minor example of Byzantine architecture in Constantinople.

Emniyet—Fatih is an underground station on the M1 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located in west-central Fatih under Adnan Menderes Boulevard. Emniyet—Fatih was opened on 3 September 1989 as part of the first rapid transit line in Istanbul and Turkey and is one of the six original stations on the M1 line. The station services several important municipal buildings such as the Istanbul Police Headquarters, Fatih Municipal Building and the Istanbul Tax Offices Directorate.

Vasat Atik Ali Pasha Mosque (Turkish: Vasat Atik Ali Paşa Camii), also known as Zincirlikuyu Mosque (Turkish: Zincirlikuyu Camii) or Karagümrük Mosque, is an Ottoman mosque located in the Karagümrük neighbourhood of the Fatih district in Istanbul, Turkey, on Fevzipaşa Street. Sultan Bayezid II's grand vizier Hadım Atik Ali Pasha, after whom the mosque is named, ordered its construction in 1502, and it was completed in 1512, one year after the grand vizier's death. The mosque is one of only two mosques in Istanbul with multiple domes, the other being Piyale Pasha Mosque, both having six domes. The mosque was known as Zincirlikuyu Mosque for a long time because of its location next to a well known as Zincirlikuyu (zincirli "chained", kuyu "well"). The minaret of the mosque collapsed in June 1648 after an earthquake. In 2013, repairs began on the minaret at a cost of 2.2 million TL ($1.03 million), expected to be completed in 2014. The Odalar Mosque (Turkish: Odalar Câmîi, meaning "the mosque of the barracks" after the nearby accommodations of the married Jannisaries established in this quarter in the 18th century. Also: Kemankeş Mustafa Paşa Câmîi) was an Ottoman mosque in Istanbul. The building was originally a Byzantine-era Eastern Orthodox church of unknown dedication. In 1475, after the Fall of Constantinople (1453), it became a Roman Catholic church, dedicated to Saint Mary of Constantinople, until finally it was converted into a mosque by the Ottomans in 1640. The mosque was destroyed by fire in 1919, and since then has fallen into ruin. As of 2011, only some walls remain, hidden among modern buildings.
