Tassel Hill is a mountain located in the Central New York Region southwest of Clayville, New York. Tassel Hill is the highest point in Oneida County and it is ranked 38 of 62 on the list of New York County High Points.

St. Paul's Church and Cemetery is a historic Episcopal church in Paris Hill, Oneida County, New York. It was built in 1818 and is a rectangular timber framed Federal style structure measuring 36 feet by 50 feet. It features a one-stage belfry rising from the roof. Located adjacent is the parish cemetery with burials dating from the early 19ths century to the present day.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

The district includes 59 contributing buildings and encompasses the heart of the village where three streets intersect to form a triangle. It includes buildings with a wide variety of architectural styles and whose worthy historical buildings span the period from 1820 to 1900.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Tower Homestead and Masonic Temple, also known as Harding Residence and Masonic Temple, is a historic home and Masonic Temple located at Waterville in Oneida County, New York. The house is an 85-by-50-foot (26 by 15 m) residence and consists of three attached sections: a central Greek Revival style, two-story central section built in 1830; an older Federal-style wing built about 1800; and a west wing built in 1910 by Charlemagne Tower, Jr. The homestead also includes a small brick building built as a law office by Charlemagne Tower and later used as a schoolhouse, a barn, two horse barns, the old gardener's house, a small bathhouse, two modern garages, and a modern nursing home (1973). The Masonic Lodge building was built in 1896 by Reuben Tower II as an office. It was later purchased by a local Masonic Lodge and used as a meeting hall. It features a 103-foot-tall (31 m), three-stage tower.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Crow Hill is a summit located in Central New York Region of New York located in the Town of Kirkland, east of Chuckery Corners.

In October 2015, 19-year-old Lucas Leonard died from injuries sustained during repeated and severe beatings at the Word of Life Christian Church in Chadwicks, New York. The beatings were part of "spiritual counseling" for Lucas and his 17-year old brother Christopher, who survived with severe injuries. The two were repeatedly assaulted by a group of parishioners, which included church leaders and the Leonard brothers' parents and older sister.
