Ave Gratia Plena, also called church of Santissima Annunciata, is a Roman Catholic church located in Rione Piazza of the town of Guardia Sanframondi, province of Benevento, region of Campania, Italy. The Latin Ave Gratia Plena is the Hail Mary invocation attributed to the archangel Gabriel when first communicating through the Annunciation to Mary of about her pregnancy.

The former Monastery of the Poor Clares of Cerreto Sannita is an ancient place of worship founded in 1369 by Francesca Sanframondi, collateral relative and chamberlain to Queen Joanna I of Naples as well as a relative of Giovanni III Sanframondi, count of Cerreto Sannita. Rebuilt after the June 5, 1688 earthquake, the monastery housed the order of Urbanist Poor Clares from the 14th century to the 20th century when it became the property of the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady of Good and Perpetual Help, who established a boarding school, kindergarten, language high school, school and teacher training institute there, naming the complex after Pope Leo XIII. The church attached to the monastery is a splendid example of Baroque architecture. Remained intact over the centuries, it preserves in the pronaos an 18th-century ceramic floor. The minutes of the various trials that took place over the years between the bishops and the nuns, preserved in the archives of the Episcopal Curia, provide a wealth of information about the life of the Poor Clares within the monastery and their relations with the outside world.

The collegiate church of San Martino is a religious building located in the historic center of Cerreto Sannita. First mentioned in 972, it constituted one of the six parishes of ancient Cerreto. On February 22, 1544, Bishop Alberico Giaquinto, with the consent of Count Diomede III Carafa and the universitas (municipal administration of the time), erected the church into a collegiate church, endowing it with a chapter of eleven canons plus the archpriest and unifying the other five parishes. Razed to the ground by the earthquake of June 5, 1688, it was rebuilt in the center of the new urban fabric desired by Count Marzio Carafa and his brother Marino, thanks to funds provided by the universitas, the confraternity of the Most Holy Body of Christ and the feudal lords. The collegiate church, characterized by the external stone staircase that divides into four branches, with its 2,000 m2 (22,000 sq ft) of surface area, 58.5 m (192 ft) in length, 32.4 m (106 ft) in width and 25 m (82 ft) in height, is the largest church in the diocese of Cerreto Sannita-Telese-Sant'Agata de' Goti. Inside it are preserved numerous 18th-century paintings, valuable wooden statues, some ancient Cerretese ceramic floors, a 19th-century organ in a Baroque case, and some altars made of inlaid polychrome marble.

The Diocese of Cerreto Sannita-Telese-Sant'Agata de' Goti (Latin: Dioecesis Cerretana-Thelesina-Sanctae Agathae Gothorum) is a Latin diocese of the Catholic Church in Campania, Italy, has existed since 1986, when the Diocese of Sant'Agata de' Goti was suppressed, and its territory and Catholic population united to the Diocese of Telese-Cerreto Sannita. The diocese is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Benevento.The cathedral of the diocese, the Cattedrale di SS. Trinità e Beata Vergine Maria Madre della Chiesa, dedicated to the Holy Trinity and, in a late-20th century addition, to Mary Mother of the Church, is located in Cerreto Sannita.

Cerreto Sannita (Italian pronunciation: [tʃerˈreːto sanˈniːta]; Campanian: Cerrìte [tʃərˈriːtə]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Benevento in the Italian region Campania, located about 60 km northeast of Naples and about 25 km northwest of Benevento. Cerreto Sannita borders the following municipalities: Cusano Mutri, Guardia Sanframondi, Morcone, Pietraroja, Pontelandolfo, San Lorenzello, San Lupo. The town was completely destroyed by the 1688 Sannio earthquake, and rebuilt in a different position.
