BHL Tower

MBf Tower is a commercial skyscraper within the city of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. Located at Northam Road, the 31-storey building, completed in 1994, is one of the oldest skyscrapers along the coastal street.

Northam Road is a major thoroughfare along the northern coast of the city of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. It continues on from Gurney Drive towards Farquhar Street to the east. The road is a one-way road, with the traffic directed eastwards towards Farquhar Street. Since the 1990s, Northam Road, along with Gurney Drive, has also emerged as George Town's second Central Business District.In the olden days, the northern coast of George Town was simply known as the 'North Beach'. British administrators, including the founder of Penang, Francis Light, were buried within the Old Protestant Cemetery near the eastern end of Northam Road. The road gradually became the address of choice for the Europeans, and later, Chinese tycoons, who built elegant mansions along the road. As a result, Northam Road was also known as the Millionaire's Row by the locals. Northam Road is also home to some of the tallest skyscrapers in Penang, many of which house commercial enterprises like banks, insurance firms, property and car dealers, and other businesses.

The Yeap Chor Ee statue is a memorial to the towkay (businessman) Yeap Chor Ee (1867–1952). It is situated in front of his former residence named 'Homestead', now part of the main campus of Wawasan Open University, on Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, George Town, Penang, Malaysia.

8 Gurney is a 38-storey condominium within the city of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. Located at Gurney Drive, it stands at a height of 150 m (490 ft), making it one of the tallest skyscrapers along the coastal road. Completed in 2013, it was built by Pulau Ceria, a subsidiary of CA+ Associates.

Gleneagles Hospital Penang (GPG) is a tertiary care private hospital in George Town, Penang island, Malaysia. It was established in July 1973. The hospital houses over 85 doctors which cover a wide array of medical specialties, supported by more than 1,100 employees (nurses, allied health personnel and support staff). The hospital has a bed capacity of 360. The hospital now consists of its original six-storey building and a 19-storey annex.

Boustead Tower, formerly known as PSCI Tower, is an office building within George Town in the Malaysian state of Penang. Located at Northam Road within the city's Central Business District (CBD), the 21-storey building was completed in 1994. It was sold to Boustead Holdings in 2006. Apart from Boustead, IWG plc is one of the major tenants of the tower.

Located at Burmah Road within the city's Central Business District (CBD), the 10-storey 138,222 sq ft (12,841.2 m2) retail complex was the city's first shopping mall. Completed in 1982, it comprises three retail floors, a seven-storey tower that accommodates offices and maintenance spaces, and 88 car park bays. The mall serves as an annexe to the adjacent Hotel Royal. Wat Buppharam (Thai: วัดบุปผาราม; RTGS: Wat Buppharam) (also called as the Buppharam Buddhist Temple) is a Thai temple in Pulau Tikus suburb of George Town, Penang, Malaysia. Situated at Jalan Perak, the temple is the home to a renowned statue of Buddha, the "Lifting Buddha". The temple became a focal point for the annual Siamese Songkran and Loi Krathong festivals within the city suburb and for the city yearly Buddha Day procession as well the Jathukarm-Ramathep-Ganesha blessing ceremonies.
