Dhammikarama Burmese Temple (Burmese: ဓမ္မိကာရာမမြန်မာကျောင်း) is a Burmese temple in Pulau Tikus suburb of George Town of Penang in Malaysia. Situated in Burmah Road, the temple located close to the Wat Chayamangkalaram. It is the sole and oldest Malaysian Burmese temple in the state. The temple also became a focal point for the annual Water, Thingyan and Mid-Autumn festivals as well for Buddhist Lent and Candle Lighting Days within the city suburb.

MBf Tower is a commercial skyscraper within the city of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. Located at Northam Road, the 31-storey building, completed in 1994, is one of the oldest skyscrapers along the coastal street.

Northam Road is a major thoroughfare along the northern coast of the city of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. It continues on from Gurney Drive towards Farquhar Street to the east. The road is a one-way road, with the traffic directed eastwards towards Farquhar Street. Since the 1990s, Northam Road, along with Gurney Drive, has also emerged as George Town's second Central Business District.In the olden days, the northern coast of George Town was simply known as the 'North Beach'. British administrators, including the founder of Penang, Francis Light, were buried within the Old Protestant Cemetery near the eastern end of Northam Road. The road gradually became the address of choice for the Europeans, and later, Chinese tycoons, who built elegant mansions along the road. As a result, Northam Road was also known as the Millionaire's Row by the locals. Northam Road is also home to some of the tallest skyscrapers in Penang, many of which house commercial enterprises like banks, insurance firms, property and car dealers, and other businesses.

8 Gurney is a 38-storey condominium within the city of George Town in Penang, Malaysia. Located at Gurney Drive, it stands at a height of 150 m (490 ft), making it one of the tallest skyscrapers along the coastal road. Completed in 2013, it was built by Pulau Ceria, a subsidiary of CA+ Associates.

Marriott Residences Penang is a seafronting residential skyscraper within George Town in the Malaysian state of Penang. Located at the city's prime address of Gurney Drive, the tower stands at a height of 223 m (732 ft), making it the second tallest skyscraper in the city of George Town as of 2023. Built by local developer BSG Property, the 55-storey building was topped out and expected to be completed in 2023. It is also the first of Marriott Residences in Southeast Asia, marking the entry of the Marriott brand into Penang's branded residences segment. The skyscraper contains a total of 223 guest rooms, 90 executive hotel rooms and 302 branded residential units.

Woodville is a mansion in George Town within the Malaysian state of Penang. Built in 1925, the building is situated at Northam Road within the city's Central Business District. It was originally the residence of Chinese tycoon Lim Lean Teng. The building is distinguishable from other mansions along the road due to the addition of a dome with a cupola, hastily designed by British architect Joseph Charles Miller.

The 2,681 m2 (0.662-acre) neighbourhood is situated near the corner between Burmah Road and Burmah Lane, immediately adjacent to Wat Chaiyamangkalaram.The neighbourhood is still inhabited by ethnic Siamese, who had moved into the area as early as the 19th century. However, the enclave has also, in recent years, been under threat from rapid urbanisation and redevelopment.

Located at Northam Road, the 30-storey building was completed in 1995 and stands at a height of 108 m (354 ft).Aside from hosting a branch of CIMB Bank, BHL Tower also houses the Consulate-General of Japan in Penang.
