Canada's Sports Hall of Fame (French: Panthéon des sports canadiens; sometimes referred to as the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame) is a Canadian sports hall of fame and museum in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Dedicated to the history of sports in Canada, it serves as a hall of fame and museum for accomplished Canadian athletes, and sports builders and officials. Established in 1955, the organization inducted its first class of hall of famers, and opened a museum to the public that year. The museum was originally located at Exhibition Place in Toronto. In 1957, the hall of fame moved to another facility at Exhibition Place, sharing the space with the Hockey Hall of Fame. A new building to house the two halls of fame was later built at Exhibition Place in 1961. The two halls of fame continued to share facilities until 1993, when the Hockey Hall of Fame moved to a different location. Canada's Sports Hall of Fame became the building's sole occupant until it was closed in 2006 to make way for BMO Field. The organization continued to induct honourees to its hall of fame, although a new facility to house its museum was not completed until 2011. The 4,100 square metres (44,000 sq ft) facility was opened at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, and houses the organization's offices and hall of fame museum. As of 2022, there were 668 inductees into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame, categorized either as athletes, or as builders of the sport. Inductees are nominated by the Canadian public, though are ultimately selected by the organization's selection committee. In addition to inductions into its hall of fame, the organization has also conferred awards for accomplishments in sport, and in the larger community.

Greenwood/Greenbriar is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by the Trans-Canada Highway to the south, the Bow River to the north, Stoney Trail to the west and the community of Bowness to the east. Canada Olympic Park borders the neighbourhood to the south. The community consists primarily of a mobile home park, Greenwood Village; maps since the early 1980s have shown proposed streets south of the mobile home park and north of the Trans-Canada Highway, but as of 2019 development had begun on a community named Greenwich that would primarily include semi-detached homes, commercial businesses & restaurants. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 1 councillor.

The Canada Olympic Park bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track is a bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track located in Calgary, Alberta. Part of Canada Olympic Park, it hosted the bobsleigh and luge competitions at the 1988 Winter Olympics. This track is one of only two of its type in the world to be featured in a non-documentary film when it was part of the 1993 American film Cool Runnings which loosely followed the Jamaican Bobsled Team during their competition in bobsleigh at the 1988 Games (The other was the 1981 British film For Your Eyes Only which included scenes from the bobsleigh track in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.).

Valley Ridge is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is located at the western edge of the city, south of the Bow River and north of the Trans-Canada Highway. The Valley Ridge golf course is located in the northern part of the community. The community is located on the former site of the Happy Valley Campground a fun park with slides, which was a major destination for visitors to Calgary until it was closed in the 1980s; the campground was located where the golf course is now situated.

CJSW-FM is a campus radio station, broadcasting at 90.9 FM, from the University of Calgary, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. CJSW is a member of the National Campus and Community Radio Association and the University of Calgary Tri-Media Alliance in partnership with NUTV (the campus television station) and The Gauntlet (the campus newspaper). CJSW's studios are located in the MacEwan Student Centre on the University of Calgary campus, with its transmitter located at Old Banff Coach Road and 85 Street Southwest. The station is run by a small group of paid staff and more than 200 campus and community volunteers. In addition to the FM broadcast, the station can be heard via Ogg Vorbis stream from its web site. Bowness Park is a 30-hectare (74-acre) urban park on the Bow River in Bowness, a neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of the City of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is popular in the summer for picnics and boating, and in winter for ice skating on the lagoon and the canal which feeds it. The park was closed to the public for safety reasons after the major flood which hit Calgary in June 2013. The west half of the park reopened in November 2014, and the east half of the park reopened in 2016. Among other attractions, a ridable miniature railway operates seasonally in the park.

Baker Park is a 12-hectare (30-acre) urban park on the bank of the Bow River in the west edge of the city of Calgary. It is part of the pedestrian and bicycle Bow River pathway that links a vast network of urban parks on both sides of the river. Baker Park is situated across the river from Bowness Park east of the Bearspaw Water Intake Pump Station. With its river observation point overlooking the Bow River and Bowness Park and its archways and arbours, it is the "most popular" park in Calgary for outdoor weddings.

Heritage Woods is an unincorporated community in Alberta, Canada within Rocky View County that is recognized as a designated place by Statistics Canada. It is located on the west side of Range Road 24, 1.4 km (0.87 mi) south of Highway 563. It is adjacent to the City of Calgary to the east.

The station first signed on the air in 2007 as an alternative rock station branded as Fuel 90.3 with its original call letters CFUL-FM, before adopting its current format in 2009. CKMP's studios are located on Centre Street in Eau Claire, while its transmitter is located on Old Banff Coach Road. As of Winter 2020, CKMP is the 13th-most-listened-to radio station in the Calgary market according to a PPM data report released by Numeris.

CJSI-FM is a christian radio station that broadcasts at 88.9 FM from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The station uses the on-air brand Shine 88.9 FM, part of the Touch Canada Broadcast Network along with sister stations CJRY-FM in Edmonton and CKRD-FM in Red Deer. CJSI's studios are located on MacLeod Trail South, while its transmitter is located on Old Banff Coach Road in the western part of Calgary. The station received approval by the CRTC in 1996.The station plays contemporary Christian music that is "safe and fun for the whole family", featuring artists like Third Day, Mercy Me, Natalie Grant, Toby Mac, Switchfoot and Lifehouse. Weekend specialty programs include the CT-20, The Sound of Light, 20 The Countdown Magazine, Hope in Anguish and The Heart of Worship.
